  1. I dunno, I've been sporadically hearing about Australia's horrible refugee detention camps for years now and interest seems to die down after a bit with no real changes. Right now I'm betting Djokavic goes home soon and the focus on the camps die down. Hope I'm wrong and it changes for the better.
  2. There are some puns that shouldn't be made. This is one of them. Fire Force: It'll get your girlfriend to leave you!
  3. And here I was just thinking about the Gilbert Gottfried's Bob Saget joke. What a horrible coincidence.
  4. All the time. The best solution is to not look at old posts.
  5. I was trying to make a joke. Scrubs was a guilty pleasure of mine in high school and It's Always Sunny is something I've always enjoyed. KP edgy phase was not fun.
  6. I think you have me confused with someone else. I love It's Always Sunny and I'll give most things with Danny Devito a spin.
  7. I've been doing that for years by now lmao. A guitar ice cube (or stone) seems intrusive.
  8. Pig (2021). I was not expecting this, it's like the anti-John Wick and that works wonderfully. Seeing Nicholas Cage in a more subdued role was really nice. Though I would not want to eat anything Robin made unless he took a shower. The Dead Don't Die (2019). I wanted to see this years ago but the local theaters only had it for a weekend while some Marvel movie took up half the screens. It's very different and I think it is very good. Watching it now is sort of timely to compare with Don't Look Up, because it works much better as a satire of climate change inaction with a fraction of the effort. Maybe that's just because it is a better movie. Shakma (1990). A b-movie from the 90's that is like an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but with a crazed baboon. It's hilarious.
  9. Today I turned 80. Well technically 30, but I think we can add 25 years apiece to 2020 and 2021.
  10. Looks like he's trying to do the Pillar Man workout, this doesn't bode well for your eventual battle to the death.
  11. Who knows? Democracy has been thrown around so much it means very little these days. Virtually every country that isn't explicitly a monarchy likes to call themselves a democracy or republic. Almost all have leaders who live in ridiculous luxury as well. It seems very much that uprisings are becoming more widespread and more frequent. Maybe the 21st century just isn't working out? Regardless the people of Kazakhstan are in the right with this uprising. Let's not give someone any ideas here.
  12. All swift actions seem to be much more wonky in RT. I honestly don't use RT except easy encounters I can auto attack through through. Oh, and some encounters have enemies who teleport in or revive and TB borks those up enough that a switch to RT is necessary.
  13. It's a cool idea but it gets old fast in practice. It's not as bad as some of the puzzles, but it's one of those things hat just add tedium. Aivu also got stuck behind a wall once.
  14. It's not fun at all. It works once you get the hang of it, but it's frustrating to wait a minute for the map to adjust. And God forbid you want to use the rotating camera to get a better look. Anyways I think I'm almost done with the demon city. I hope the flying island is still there when I get back.
  15. Sarevok is never convinced and I think she is dead no matter what by BG2, so that whole interaction is a bit underwhelming. Oh well, on the slim chance I ever play BG again I'll think of the market show @majestic is watching.
  16. I'm glad you liked it but... IT'S VENEZIA! VENEZIA! IT TAKES PLACE IN ITALY SO CALL IT BY THE ITALIAN NAME! **** **** **** **** ****!
  17. The most obvious would be to not hold crowded events in the first place. Covid precautions are looking to be too easy to circumvent (my personal experience is that they're a joke, but I do live in Texas) and being packed together in enclosed spaces is a perfect recipe for mass transmission of the rona. Staying home sucks and all that but dying or getting disabled by long covid seems worse.
  18. That's a new one. I guess Square Enix wanted to drive up sales of Final Fantasy. I've either lucked out and personally avoided the most bizarre conspiracy stuff or have finally achieved the ability to tune out nonsense, which would be a win in itself.
  19. Not really, there's nothing in the game that tells you to rotate. But I did frequently rotate around the moving walls and they didn't move, so I assume it's also buggy. Like I said it's a cool idea but a pain in practice.
