  1. There is a contingent of reactionaries in fandom(s) who make everything unbearable and comparing them pieces of **** would be an insult to ****. They can all burn in hell. I don't think we should ignore them, because they do overlap with the ongoing wave of stochastic terror being unleashed and are a danger to others. But I don't don't see any of them here. Maybe ignore is just working for me and there is a guy posting 10 hour videos about how wokeness is killing whatever, in which case that guy can go **** himself. Really dodged a bullet there I guess, somehow this forum is less insane that much of the internet. Anyways I'm rewatching Breaking Bad and Meth Damon has arrived. For some reason I really like seeing Jesse Plemons in stuff, I have no real idea why.
  2. This better not be parody, else Musk will ban you. I may vote tomorrow, Beto is better than Abbot but I wish I could vote for the guy who threw a beer at Ted Cruz.
  3. Those are salient points, but AOC didn't reply to my DM respectfully asking for feet pics so both sides are equally bad. "Deny feet, get heat" - Quentin Tarantino
  4. I haven't seen She-Hulk, but I did laugh when I read the writers dropped a storyline because they couldn't figure out how to make lawyer stuff exciting. That's probably not something you'd want to say when Better Call Saul is doing the final season.
  5. Crimes of the Future (2022) When this movie hit my radar, I was excited to hear that Cronberg was returning to body horror. I'm a big fan of horror as a genre and body horror in particular has held a place of fascination for me before I knew the term "body horror". The critics raved, viewers walked out in disgust, and the word of mouth was that Cronberg had again made a disturbing body horror film. I disagree. The film is great, beautifully shot and with performances that are artfully disturbing while delivering some very silly lines like "surgery is the new sex". Yet, it doesn't feel like a horror film to me. Yes there's mutations, visceral (cgi) surgery, and murder but it doesn't feel like it's meant to scare you (even though you probably will feel disgust). The mutations and mutilations feel more like dystopian elements akin to cyberpunk body modification than they do horror scares while the murder is more in line with crime drama than anything. This is a big surprise for me in a good way, I don't think it's on the level of EEAAO but it's a damn good movie.
  6. Oh yeah, the Thassilonians have unique spell books specifically to prevent them from using opposition schools, so no...naughty exploits to get around it. When I think of it, the TS is a downgrade from the normal wizard. It's not Arcane Bomber bad, but losing that versatility for an extra spell is a poor trade off, especially with abundant casting. Luckily Nenio is the best Wizard archetype so by level 10 she can use her scroll savant abilities and scribe scrolls to cast spells very often, including spells wizards couldn't normally cast without UMD and a check. Just make sure you have the money to burn.
  7. It's like a doll. It's just like a doll. It's just kinda like you know a doll...in a dream. Ok? Fantastic.
  8. It may not work with the new game versions unfortunately. Nenio is probably the most unique companion as none of the others come with a full Wizard spell list by default, so it's either a mercenary, a worse Wolijif, or a respec mod if you're looking to have a caster who uses the full Wizard spell list in the party without the foxy lady. You manage without that on most difficulties but it's powerful amd versatile enough to be a benefit for most parties. Opposition school spells aren't prohibited, they take up two slots to get prepared.

  10. Oh right, first I have to be watched by Narutaru, as it is an Eldritch Entity in the form of an anime series.
  11. Ok. I'm still going to check it out. In several weeks at best. First I have to watch Narutaru.
  12. You make good points But I don't like you ! Spoiler ?
  13. I'll help you out. The Shyamalan Twist in The Sixth Sense (1999) is that Bruce Willis has been dead the whole time but was unaware of his status as a ghost. So "I guess this is what Bruce Willlis felt like when he realized he was dead in The Sixth Sense." indicates a realization of a ongoing phenomenon a person was previously ignorant of.
  14. I guess when you think about it, every cRPG is already an Isekai. Given the bulk of Isekai stories, it almost impossible to not unintentionally do a playthrough that doesn't borrow from one of them, so we've been aping the ridiculously long named stories the whole time whether we intend to or not. I guess this is what Bruce Willlis felt like when he realized he was dead in The Sixth Sense.
  15. I'm planning on doing a I Gained A Second Character Class and Became The Strongest Sage in Golarion!, So Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls (and Daeran) In A Dungeon? run as a Trickster. Why do one Isekai when you can do double Isekai?
  16. I did get the update and the abilities section is wonky. There's also some issues with animal companions showing up, but a reload usually fixes it. The game seems stable enough, but I'm considering rerolling the dhampir wizard into That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Lich: So I'm Taming The Final Boss.
  17. Hmm, well I do recall you saying that a lot of Russians (who work in tech?) ended up in Serbia, so it could be they brought capital with them and are using it. But I don't know much about Serbian real estate and don't want to put my foot in my mouth, so I'll just express sympathy with renters who are dealing with rising costs whatever the cause. How to get this back on topic.....Well I bet rent in Ukraine is going to skyrocket when (hopefully) the war ends. We will see how many strings reconstruction comes with.
  18. Ah. I'm not sure what Serbia's finance or property laws are like, but a substantial number of properties here are being bought by businesses rather than people. It certainly explains the ability to get their hands on enough liquid cash.
  19. I think rent is spiking everywhere, I know in the US part of the reason is an algorithm: https://www.propublica.org/article/yieldstar-rent-increase-realpage-rent Honesrly it wouldn't surprise me if it is being adopted worldwide and causing everyone who isn't a landlord major grief. Additionally in the US we have a lot of people who buy up properties over market rate with cash and that really drives up housing costs.
  20. I think people really need to get better at spotting the difference between trolls, disinformation, and people with opinions you don't like. Unfortunately posters here are going to be doing it for free, so to speak, instead of getting a fat stack for pissing off fans of niche videogames. Really if a guy's posts are 1000 word essays and not insinuations that you enjoy having watching other men have sex with your wife or cheap infographs, then you're probably not dealing with a troll or bot. If you want to be literal: nazifurs, findom pay pigs, fans of Sailor Moon Crystal, the guy who tried to assassinate David Lynch on the astral plane, and reply guys. I spend too much time on the internet. Sorry about your dad. Hmm, if I farmed that out to two or three people, I could make enough to pay the rent with some extra change.
