  1. You make good points But I don't like you ! Spoiler ?
  2. I'll help you out. The Shyamalan Twist in The Sixth Sense (1999) is that Bruce Willis has been dead the whole time but was unaware of his status as a ghost. So "I guess this is what Bruce Willlis felt like when he realized he was dead in The Sixth Sense." indicates a realization of a ongoing phenomenon a person was previously ignorant of.
  3. I guess when you think about it, every cRPG is already an Isekai. Given the bulk of Isekai stories, it almost impossible to not unintentionally do a playthrough that doesn't borrow from one of them, so we've been aping the ridiculously long named stories the whole time whether we intend to or not. I guess this is what Bruce Willlis felt like when he realized he was dead in The Sixth Sense.
  4. I'm planning on doing a I Gained A Second Character Class and Became The Strongest Sage in Golarion!, So Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls (and Daeran) In A Dungeon? run as a Trickster. Why do one Isekai when you can do double Isekai?
  5. I did get the update and the abilities section is wonky. There's also some issues with animal companions showing up, but a reload usually fixes it. The game seems stable enough, but I'm considering rerolling the dhampir wizard into That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Lich: So I'm Taming The Final Boss.
  6. Hmm, well I do recall you saying that a lot of Russians (who work in tech?) ended up in Serbia, so it could be they brought capital with them and are using it. But I don't know much about Serbian real estate and don't want to put my foot in my mouth, so I'll just express sympathy with renters who are dealing with rising costs whatever the cause. How to get this back on topic.....Well I bet rent in Ukraine is going to skyrocket when (hopefully) the war ends. We will see how many strings reconstruction comes with.
  7. Ah. I'm not sure what Serbia's finance or property laws are like, but a substantial number of properties here are being bought by businesses rather than people. It certainly explains the ability to get their hands on enough liquid cash.
  8. I think rent is spiking everywhere, I know in the US part of the reason is an algorithm: https://www.propublica.org/article/yieldstar-rent-increase-realpage-rent Honesrly it wouldn't surprise me if it is being adopted worldwide and causing everyone who isn't a landlord major grief. Additionally in the US we have a lot of people who buy up properties over market rate with cash and that really drives up housing costs.
  9. I think people really need to get better at spotting the difference between trolls, disinformation, and people with opinions you don't like. Unfortunately posters here are going to be doing it for free, so to speak, instead of getting a fat stack for pissing off fans of niche videogames. Really if a guy's posts are 1000 word essays and not insinuations that you enjoy having watching other men have sex with your wife or cheap infographs, then you're probably not dealing with a troll or bot. If you want to be literal: nazifurs, findom pay pigs, fans of Sailor Moon Crystal, the guy who tried to assassinate David Lynch on the astral plane, and reply guys. I spend too much time on the internet. Sorry about your dad. Hmm, if I farmed that out to two or three people, I could make enough to pay the rent with some extra change.
  10. I heard it was Shyamalan's worst film and a very poor adaptation of the beloved cartoon. But I haven't seen it either.
  11. In general I think media reporting on crime has surged far more than crime. The way some people have convinced themselves every urban area is now a war zone is ****ing hilarious.
  12. I guess that's one way to cut carbs. But while I can drop the bread, I need mustard on my blts.
  13. Chainsaw Man 1-3 I tried watching this to fall asleep but ended up interested enough to stay up. Between watching this and Hellraiser last night I had a dream with body horror caused by some kind of liquid that mutated things into Eldritch Abominations, the end of which involved the remains of a man getting dipped into a pool of water with the liquid in it and coming back as a human torso with bloated tentacles and a disfigured smile. I am now convinced that this is the origin of Bruno. Anyways Chainsaw Man was enjoyable. The protagonist is shonen as shonen can be, but it's played more fun than anything. I think the main girl is a Camellia-tier yandere but we'll just see how that goes. Next up is Narutaru.
  14. Hellraiser (1987) & Hellraiser 2 (1988) The first is a classic for a reason, in many ways it is more of a dark fairy tale warning us of the price to pay for desire than it is a monster movie. The Cenobites themselves have only two victims, while most of the body count in the movie is racked up in service of Frank escaping the torment he pursued when he thought opening the box was just going to let him **** a succubus. The second isn't as good, but is still better than all the sequels before the new one dropped. It goes more into creature feature with the introduction of the Doctor and does some exploration of the cenobites, but not enough to go into info dump territory. Seen together they're a solid block of horror.
  15. The same place as the vending machine subclass, in our dreams. That's just the Swarm path. You naughty
