  1. That looks like Guybrush Threepwood and Elaine Marley.
  2. You are welcome. I got my backer key about 2 hours ago apparently. Didn't notice of course as I didn't expect it to come out anytime soon either The way they were writing updates it was hard to understand what they were trying to say sometimes... Of course ingame it isn't any different So if you backed it, keep an eye on your inbox. They hope to have all keys send out by tomorrow afternoon the latest (I think they are just trying to be safe with that announcement).
  3. Knock-Knock Only played a bit so far. It is quite scary though. Great atmosphere. I am not going to follow the devs' advice though to play it with the lights turned off, when what I do in the game is try to turn the lights on for the nightmares to go away...
  4. Our Darker Purpose just downloaded the latest beta build. But back to bed before trying it or else I'll never get any sleep.
  5. The touchdown that made Wals green with envy:
  6. And the crowd kept the same chant as you kept fouling my poor witch elf. 4 Amazons wresling one Witch Elf. Explains why the match got such a high rating
  7. The last match between Wals and I was accidentally not ranked. We replayed it today and he beat me into a pulp.
  8. So you just got yours recently and you are in the US? Then mine will take a while to get here.
  9. silly question. anyone know if backer rewards have been send out?
  10. I had gym and then dance class. Wednsdays is my sporty day.
  11. Just grabbed the first link I came across. I don't even know the Red Storm games
  12. Does this belong here? Tom Clancy died Never liked the man. But there are enough people on this forum who share his views and who may care. I did enjoy shouting orders into my mic in Endwar though. "Unit one attack Sierra" "Unit two hold Alpha" "Damn... Unit one... Unit one... Unit one attack Sierra" "Unit one... attack... Sierra... unit one.. attack.. Cee-Eh-RA... like Mumm-RA but different." "Oh screw you unit one - I'll just zerg this" "Command All: attack hostile 3"
  13. Just cheat: find a house you can sleep in safely. Do Tribunal up to the point where you get Almalexia's bonus healing ability. Do the main quest until you get corpus. Go to said house and sleep for < 30 days. Heal the lost ability points with Almalexia's healing thingie. Rince and repeat 'till the movie you are watching is over. With a strength > 1000 most bosses will only be 1 hit. When people ask you why you did it say: I was young and needed the strength points.
  14. The crowd went wild over the match of the western continent, as Dark Elves met Amazons on the pitch. After some arguments with the referee (game bugged out and removed one of my players during setup to reappear them at the start but near my endzone), the Amazons kicked off. The Dark Elves made a push down the left field. A prolongued melee had a handfull of dark elf players reach the Amazon endzone. A touchdown seemed inevitable. But the Amazons managed to sprint back, putting up a defense that looked more like a lioness defending her cubs than an athlete the end zone. Before the elves managed to retaliate, the referee blew his whistle. The second half again began with an argument between Dark Elves and the ref (one of my players changed position at kick off... seriously the bugs I am getting lately). Seeing murder in their eyes, the ref allowed the Dark Elves to adapt their defence. It didn't take long and one amazon player managed to slip through the dark elven line. She had a clear run to the end zone. While one elven defender did catch up with her, the nimble amazon effortlessly slipped out of his reach and scored the 1-0. The dark elven counter attack was vicious and for a moment it looked as if they would manage to at least get the draw. But again, the amazons were too nimble and once they grabbed hold of the ball managed to keep it out of their opponent's reach. In the end the Amazons carried off a close victory but also part of their team on stretchers.
  15. My assassin managed to stab two of them. But I only got stunned rolls. Still I am giddy that I got two successfull stabs
  16. You know my position Wals. I feel sorry for Serrano. Those die rolls are unbloodbowly lucky. A true game of Blood Bowl involves cussing at failed die rolls, wanting to throttle someone because the players have been unable to pick up the ball three turns in a row etc. Serrano does not get that, making for a very unauthentic experience. Serrano, I am sorry you have been cheated out of the true Blood Bowl experience
  17. One of the nastiest things I have met so far. The Hydra's bite hits every adjacent enemy for massive damage regardless of facing. Its block works regardless of facing. Its breath attack hits a huge area. At least those weren't elite lizardman guards. Those are pure evil, drawing 5 cards a turn.
  18. And lost again! I blame Cyanide. I used my apothecary and when I selected "badly hurt" instead of "broken neck" it didnt select it, breaking my witch elf's neck instead. :/ Not happy. But the match was good. Very tense. Serrano only scored on the very last turn when I had 1 injured and 6 KOed players and my last attempt at blitzin his ball-carried resulted in my blitzer failing the dodge roll to get to him and getting KOed as well. With 8 players down on my team there wasn't anyone to stop him.
  19. Hmm, not only did Syndicate get upgraded to Syndicate Plus (American Revolt) they also upgraded Dungeon Keeper to Dungeon Keeper Gold (Deeper Dungeons). Similar upgraded were Magic Carpet and Populous.
  20. It's one of the few games that truly warrant multiple playthroughs. I especially enjoy how your choices affect the news reports after the end of the game.
  21. If it was anything remotely like Mass Effect, no. Luckily the Space Opera genre is vast, larger even than the gamma and delta quadrants combined, so they could do something that was more than just militaristic rambling intertwined with existential angst and shouts of "Look this is a npc from the previous game - see your choices mattered!" To me Obsidian have proven that they can do interesting things. A good Space Opera would need a very detailed setting. With Project Eternity Obsidian has a great chance to show just how deep their own IPs can be (Alpha Protocol, while being one of my favourid games, was set in the really real world, so is a different thing).
  22. This week I have been missing City of Heroes and the first days of playing that. It has put me in a wierd mood of not feeling like gaming...
  23. Yes it does have quite a few choices and they do matter. And whatever you do in Moscow will affect whether the russian mob thugs in Rome will be hostile or firendly. Just as the araby missions affect the terrorists in the arceological dig.
  24. I'd take you up on the challenge but got guests.
