  1. This still happens in the current patch :/
  2. Paladin has: Good off ability, good def passive, lacking self buff, off passive; Barbarian has: Good self buff, good off passive, lacking def ability. I think that's why two combine very good.
  3. As topic.
  4. Yeah I agree, before the patch Wounding shot was pretty awesome, you can do a lot damage with it, but after patch I did some test and the damage is tuned sadly. Mark the prey is worse than Sworn enemy for sure. Edit: Wounding shot is still not too bad, with the previous Helwalker/Sharpshooter I can still shot over 100 damage with crossbow, and Wounding shot ticks 50% of the damage, around 50 DoT for like 4-5 ticks depends your INT. So u can still dd over 300 damage with it, tried arquebus and it's even better, 120 initial damage with a 60 DoT, potential to do 400+ with Wounding shot.
  5. Yeah the lash bonus is incorrect, all subclasses’s spiritual weapon spell is bugged.
  6. Hmmm both Sneak attack and Backstab is working weird, neither works with attacks from invisibility. Lay on hands is working weird too, I picked a Bleak Walker and cannot target myself with LoH.
  7. Viewing POE 1 threads gives a lot inspirations, so now Cipher Backlash will stun enemy for 10 second, would Cipher/Paladin be very efficient in killing dragons? Sworn enemy + Zealot focus would gives +20 accuracy for Backlash, which stun dragons for 10 second... Cipher/Paladin would be good Charm/Domination combo too.
  8. Combat music doesn't end correctly, even when I quit the current game and enter the main menu.
  9. In the description it says Backstab works when attack from stealth or invisible, but actually it doesn't work in combat unless u do it in the first 2 second of combat.
  10. Well I'm using crossbow That's much faster than arquebus. I choose crossbow because it has initial 10% hit to critical convert bonus, combine with Sharpshooter and Heart Orlan, I got 35% hit to critical bonus, plus high accuracy from Accurate Wounding Shoot, I have high chance to crit with crossbow. So I got crit damage bonus, high MIG bonus and Lash, that's 3 multipliers affect each other Not to mention you can kick enemy away if they try to engage you, or use turn blade and run away. Dance of Death works perfect on ranged characters too.
  11. Hmmm just wanna point out that a sword/shield rogue might not perform at its optimization because currently Full attack use main hand first, offhand late order. So your Blind strike, or any rogue abilities will hit with sword first(which is not a sneak attack unless target is already vulnerable to it), then a soft sneak attack with shield. Not a big deal, but still impact your performance. Thanks to Boeroer, he mentioned that in POE1 the order is offhand then mainland for full attacks. So it might be a mistake.
  12. Yeah this happens a lot if you are surrounded. The more frequent u get attacked, the higher chance this will happen, as I said, if enemies attack u when u are during that jumping animation. Edit: I just tested this again and confirmed it. I put 4 dummy target around me, and used the Shadowing beyond. I triggered a riposte when I’m jumping out of them. And my invisibility is break instantly.
  13. So this happens when you are in the animation to 'jump' away with Shadowing Beyond, and at same moment you performs a Riposte, the Riposte will cancels your invisible stats. This happens a lot because Shadowing Beyond grants you +50 deflection, so it triggers the riposte often.
  14. So if the target is both Flanked by Distracted, and by enemy position. The Flank will end earlier if the enemy moved away and the Flank requirement is not met. But if Distracted grants Flanked, should it last as long as Distracted last? Not sure if this is intended.
  15. Yeah I also think this is a bug, the -duration is applied to all buff, not only spells.
  16. I'm pretty sure this is not intended, because they are abilities not spells. But still the Debuff doesn't work with Carnage only the main target. So interrupt multiple casters at once is pretty hard to achieve.
  17. Wounding Shot's DoT damage counts Lash too, so it seems a Sharpshooter/Helwalker is a good combo With full wounds, I'm able to shoot a Wounding Shot with 70-100 damage per DoT with a crossbow, and DoT ticks 5 times, with the initial shoot damage, that's 420-600 damage with one wounding shot. Pretty decent for me. Edit: And after looking in the the old thread about DoT, it seems that INT won't affect the total damage for wounding shot. Othewise this would combo good with the Monk Duality Modal that adds 10 INT when full wounds. Seems in POE 2, Wounding Shot is changed so INT does affect duration and total damage of DoT, the per tick damage won't be reduced because of high INT, this create even better synergy between monk and ranger, Wounding Shot benefit from the high INT of Monk Duality Modal.
  18. I did some small test, neither carnage or torment's reach works on second target. Only the target you are attacking will have the Wizard Slayer debuff. The only thing that might apply AOE Wizard Slayer debuff is Citzal's Spirit Lance I think, but since buff duration is halved on Wizard Slayer, it's not a good choice to multclass with wizard.
  19. Shouldn't this ability a self-buff instead of an activate ability? The description and its effect is weird. With this ability you only perform one carnage attack and that's all of it.
  20. Hmmm so now it will be hammer first and then shield for a Blinding Strike? That sounds lame because only the 2nd attack will be a sneak attack unless the target is already vulnerable to sneak attack. This is not a big change but still make me feel uncomfortable about it...
  21. Ah thanks for the reply! Just tested in POE 2, the recovery time is based on offhand, because in POE 2 when doing a Full Attack ability, the order of weapon is main hand -> offhand. Wonder how it is in POE 1, is it also main hand -> offhand?
  22. Eh?In PoE mages have like the best defenses... With deflection over 200 they aren't so "easily butchered" Yeah I'm just kidding, you get the point, if the mage have such high defenses, it's hard for Mage Slayer to touch them, so Spell Disruption is kinda pointless until u can dispel mage's protection. So you open by attacking them from stealth, applying the 20 second disruption effect?... unlike BG mage's protection can't be cast outside combat, with the exception of that one 5th tier spell that only activates once Blooded (so it would still allow the first hit), and the Illusionist's automatic mirror image.... Then why not use assassin
