  1. Battlemage is the name for fighter/wizard multiclass. Come to think of it, in Deadfire you can make Eder a squishy rogue while make Aloth a tanky fighter/wizard, it's quite a role reverse. Ah, yeah. Sorry. I got that wrong.
  2. Well, he has spoken about that before so it's really no news. He's said there will be gay romances for both male and females as well as straight romances. I think he only states that there will be companions attracted to the same sex before. This time he says "Yes. There are female companions who will respond favorably toward romance from a female Watcher.", which indicates that there will be at least two out of the female companions will be available for the female watcher to romance. But you said they have been vague about this. And no, Josh hasn't been vague. He has stated there will be gay romances. So the lesbian part isn't new.

  4. Really? I'm sure Josh stated that you could chose Battlemage for Aloth, for example. Which is a subclass, no?
  5. Yeah, technically. But in practice it's pretty much one and the same. And again, only trolls will claim they can't tell the difference between Spelunky and Deadfire. Indie games have few developers with limited budget. Deadfire is not even on the same map.
  6. No indipendent developer making a multi million dollar game have ever claimed to have made an indie game. And the term is not meaningless because anyone who isn't trolling is able to tell the difference between Spelunky and Deadfire, where one is an indie game and the other isn't.
  7. By that logic Witcher 3 is an indie game. But it's okay. I know you feed off the lulz you get by trolling like this.
  8. This is not an indie game. *confused* Obsidian is a mid-size independent developer who is making a game using a combination of self-funding and crowdfunding. Unless you’re operationally defining “indie” some other way Yes, I can understand that you are confused. You seem to think all independent game companies are indies. They're not. Indie companies have small budgets and few employees (less than 25 atleast). So no, Obsidian is not an indie.
  9. Owners: Faergus Urquhart Chris Parker Darren Monahan Chris Jones Not sure if Chris Avellone is still part of the ownership or if the others bought his shares when he left the company. But those are the guys who made the decision.
  10. Are you trying to kill my excitement? You're probably right though. Might not be worth getting up at 4 am for it.
  11. Yeah, thanks for the insightful words. Still, I find the draft very exciting. Question is if I will have the endurance to get up at 4 am (and stay awake) and watch it all unfold.
  12. Yeah, it's been stated that CB and OLB are the biggest needs overall. Given how often Matthews and Perry are banged up, they need good support. And I can't really argue against you regarding the CB:s. I just hope they get someone good on defense since I think offense is in a much better overall state. Smart move by Dallas.
  13. I'm definetely no expert. Maybe I'm only remembering his good plays? I don't know. What I do know is that our secondary sucked big time. Clinton-Dix is the only one would say absolutely no to dropping. All others are expendable. And that's why I had hopes for free agency, but not much happened there. Only Williams. So who would you want to draft in the first round?
  14. Oh, okay, the 8pm thing I read, I'm not sure what timezone that was. Cause it's in Dallas, which isn't in the EST, right? I live in Sweden so I'm trying to figure how early I need to get up to start following the first round. If it's reasonable to do at all. Sorry about the mix up of the picks. Our secondary sucked last season. Randall might have been best (I thought King was great though) but if he's disruptive in the lockerroom, it's not good to keep him, despite being on a rookie contract. But yeah, I have great fear for next season (about the defense). Signing Tramon Williams and, as it looks like, bringing back Davon House for another year doesn't look good in my book. I really hope they can snag a great CB in the first round (or Minkah Fitzpatrick). Some analysts think we will draft a WR though, and that scares me.
  15. I thought it was good we parted ways with Randall. He was disruptive in the lockerroom and the veteran's council agreed in dropping him. And he would have been dropped earlier if it wasn't for Ted Thompson. Kizer isn't really a great prospect, but I think we got a few picks in the draft too. So all in all, pretty decent given the poison in the locker room he would have meant if he (Randall) stayed.
  16. I'm hoping to get some help here regarding the draft. According to NFL Network the draft show will begin 8 pm, 26th of April. But do we know at what time the clock will start ticking for the Browns to make their first selection? I've tried searching on the Internet but I have found no info on it. I've never watched the draft show, so I have no experience of what happens when the show starts (if the draft starts immediately or if they have like a talk show thing for and hour, and then the draft starts).
  17. Indeed. The goal of the portrait's aren't necessarily to make every companion have a beauty pageant look. Everyone's certainly the right to change and mod however they want but Maia looking masculine isn't in itself something wrong. Probably very fitting for the character they are conveying. I wouldn't for the world think of changing the original portrait of her. That being said, I think the original PoE portraits of Edér, Aloth and Pallegina are superior to the new Deadfire ones, so I'm definetely switching those out for the old versions.
  18. She was/is super cool and good looking, yes. She looks like she can slap anyone around. It's all good in my book.
  19. Are you kidding me? Her portrait was perfect from the beginning.
  20. "You know that unmarked island in the far NW is going to have some crazy sh*t." Normally I would just make for the biggest city but I'm thinking of just sailing away in the opposite direction and see what happens. Could be fun. The NW seems like a place to avoid though, yeah.
