Endurance regens quickly after combat ends throughout the entire game. I am playing as Cipher as well, soul whip is something that is activated essentially when you start attacking with weapons. You do not physically see a soul whip weapon.

Hard also has 2 camping supply limit. Normal gives you 4. And I agree about it being odd that if you have the cap on camping supplies and pick one up it just disappears...would be better if you were not able to loot it and it stayed inside the container.

If I were to make a complete guess I would say they went over budget around $500k-1 mil. I base that on no information at all though, just sounds about right. As far as how many units it might sell...between 500k and 1 million. Obsidian is not filthy rich, but assuming this game is as successful as it is looking like it will be, they should be able to fund the expansion and probably the whole sequel without having to result to crowd funding.

Yes, there are some files not working when using GOG installer. Just turn off the installer and download the files separately. Do not download the ones that are 1mb in size except for the ringtones.

I do not believe this has been answered but forgive me if it has. The game is being released 9am PDT... devs have already said there will be a patch same day, do we know if the patch will be available at the same time the game is released or will it be available later in the day?

Not everything has been made available... so far all we have (at least all I am showing) is the key itself for whichever platform we want (gog in my case) None of the other rewards are available currently.

Since there is going to be a day 1 patch I would really rather wait until the 26th anyways. If that is when the game plus patch is ready then that is when everyone should get the game. There is no problem in wanting it earlier, but I have no ill feelings or thoughts towards obsidian/paradox for releasing the game the way they are.

Seriously read the rest of the thread. I posted on page 2 towards the bottom what the general understanding is based on what we have been told so far.

They get the full version of the game, there are no restrictions of how they can play the content. Obsidian/Paradox are trusting that these people signing the NDA will abide by the agreement. Sensuki could easily stream beyond the Stronghold embargo and we all could see it...there is nothing within the copy he has that prevents him from doing so. He would however face legal action from Obsidian/Paradox if he or those with press copies were to do so.

If you backed the game you will be able to choose steam or gog. My understanding is that by Monday, Tuesday at the latest they will explain everything...maybe even giving us our keys for the game.

I would rather wait those few extra days so day 1 patch is ready.

Can't say specifically what they will change but they have talked about things like individual stealth instead of party stealth.

No problem. However there will be a day 1 patch and the game will be more than playable on release. Since I intend on playing this game a bunch of times I have no problem not waiting for a more complete version.

There will be several patches to the game over the first few months... This is already planned by the devs and some patches will contain fairly significant changes to the game. If you are wanting to play through the game just one time I would suggest waiting a few months so the game can be patched.

Most of the time reviewers can publish when they are ready to release the review. In some cases the publishers of the game will tell the reviewers to hold off until release date but normally that isn't the case. However with PoE it is unlikely you will see reviews before release due to the fact that the reviewers didn't get their copy until just the other day, leaving only 2 weeks to play the game and write their reviews.

Yeah I would assume that paradox would take the 30% that isn't going to steam/gog for themselves.

You also want that this modular UI to look beautiful and the transition between modules to be seamless and visually pleasing? Because some things are just like in life: you can't have all of them if you don't have lots and lots of money (& time). I think your mockup looks really good and I would be more than happy to use it. I am simply curious as to whether or not it would be a possibility to move sections around, was not criticizing it.

The optimal situation would be to present us with a UI and then allow us to arrange the UI elements however we want. Edit: This would also include letting us do things like separate parts of the UI from one another such as weapons sets, the "command center" thing and so on...

Would your UI be customizable in a similar way to Bester's? Meaning can we move certain parts to different sections if we would prefer a different arrangement?

There is supposed to be a nexus for the game, no doubt it will be up when the game is released.

I would say you should be able to run the game... Your ram is a bit on the slower end and video card isn't strong but lucky for you this game is supposed to be able to be played on lower end systems...

They are not in denial of this, in fact they already said that they know the game will be pirated and that most of those people probably weren't going to buy the game anyway so it wasn't a huge concern. When they mentioned that the game being pirated was bad they were referring to the fact that the version that will be leaked/pirated will not be the final 1.0 version and that people playing the non final build may spread bad press about the game based on them playing it in an unfinished state. Also they want to make sure that those of us who backed the game and are waiting patiently until release day to play it don't feel as if we got the short end of the stick compared to those who will pirate the leaked version and are able to play the game earlier, so they would prefer to avoid that issue (although it wouldn't bother me if that happened, but it will bother others).
