  1. I like the scenery, it's beautiful. But I really want to see some characters standing around in it.
  2. They got rid of the horrid boob-plate, all else is irrelevant.
  3. "Stronghold at 3.0 Million" Seriously, this is what I always crave in RPGs but rarely get. Getting a stronghold to lord over is so much fun, both from a gameplay and roleplaying perspective. It's a shame more RPGs don't include this, and I REALLY hope we get to that stretchgoal in Project Eternity.
  4. I love the stretchgoal for the Paladin and Chanter classes. Don't know anything about George Ziets, so I don't have much enthusiasm for the 2.8 million goal.
  5. Yes, PLEASE add item descriptions and pictures. It's really important for having a good inventory system. Take DA:O and DA2. DA:O had it where every item was accompanied by a small picture and at least a basic item description. This made it so that items felt more precious, and I cared about what gear I was using based upon it's looks and backstory/basic info. This enhanced tinkering with my inventory because I could read interesting tidbits about items and see how they look, which also allowed for deeper roleplaying. In DA2, this was my inventory: RING RING FIRE RESISTANCE RING RING RING BELT STAMINA BELT BELT BELT NECKLACE MANA NECKLACE NECKLACE NECKLACE It was boring, ugly, and cheap feeling inventory system. In DA:O I hoarded Items because I liked them so much and they felt unique. In DA2 I sold everything because I didn't care.
  6. Music in a game is very important. It allows a mood to be set and gives you something nice to listen to when not engaged in fun actions. When music in a game is bad, it can ruin the mood of a scene and cause undo boredom when not doing something exciting. For instance, in TES games I spend huge amounts of time walking. Walking (in and of itself) is boring, but that boredom is offset by enjoying the very pleasant music. If instead I had to walk in silence (or with poor quality music), walking would be horribly boring and tedious. Because of all this, I believe it would be worthwhile to add a stretchgoal for a real orchestra to perform the game's music.
  7. There's always going to be that one guy who throws a hissy fit when Obsidian refuses to put General Scoobylasers McKetchup into the game.
  8. I want enemies to be strong, but few in number. It feels weird slaughtering dozens at a time...
  9. I say make the normal stuff unlimited, but make it so that you can buy a large variety of higher quality arrows. This will prevent my inventory from being cluttered with quivers, but allow for purchasing of special arrows for different circumstances. Mosty, I just hate running back and forth between the shop constantly.
  10. Wow, that music was top notch. Even better than Inon Zur, which is saying something!
  11. Here's my ideas. 3 million dollar stretchgoal: Adds spell creation New companion, NPCs, region, etc. 3.5 million dollar stretchgoal: Hire great orchestra and composer to make the game's music Add a (manageable) city that you can become the ruler of. 4 Million dollar stretchgoal: A giant collection of in-game books readable by the player. I'm talking Morrowind level of books here. New NPCs, region, etc. 5 million dollar stretch goal: Add a whole bunch of new skills, abilities, classes, etc. New NPCs, region, companion, etc. Add a whole bunch of gambling minigames.
  12. I've (strangely) heard that they push liberalism as well. Not sure where anyone is getting this from...
  13. I want at least one big settlement. It always feels weird when a game has no big population center, it makes the world seem somewhat dead. Big cities are also great for having faction bases, shops, quests, and people to talk to all in one central location. Plus, big cities are great for allowing you to see the culture of the society you are currently in. That's why I loved the Imperial City in Oblivion, or Denerim in DA:O. Hopefully Project Eternity has a big, explorable city as well!
  14. While I have suggestions for the lock mechanics of the game (give us lock bashing!), I think this system you propose is rather excessive.
  15. They aren't needed, but they can be an enjoyable part of the game. I don't feel strongly either way.
  16. I would keep it as Project Eternity. That sounds cool enough already.
  17. I even hate the name Hawke. It's like the people that made DA:O were fired and replaced by the Toys-R-Us marketing staff. On topic: I hope we get to see what the next stretch goal is soon!
  18. My problem with update 8 was not enough concept art. Seriously, concept art is like heroine.
