Plague, Inc. is a very, very good port of a mobile game. They keep the simple nature while at the same time making it feel "fuller" for the computer. And the difficulty ramps up pretty damn quickly. It lulls you into a false sense of security, with you moving forward in order to unlock more and more bacteria and virus types, but what it is really doing is making you think the entire game is one thing. Then you get to the third "stage" and everything changes. And it pretty much sounds like the entire game works this way, including different scenarios (beyond the ones in the Game Type option). There's a Zombie Virus, an Ape Virus, many different unlockables for chargen. Also, The Banner Saga is amazing. First Kickstarter game that made me go "wow".

Calm down, please.

Delayed to early 2015
They've stuck to a pretty good schedule so far. If they stuck to schedule, they'd know they'd be pushing out a game that is not ready.

Is Obsidian trying to rush this game?
It wasn't. What did was most likely the thousands of threads with actual criticisms of the game mechanics and bugs. And even then, delaying is up to Obsidian and them alone. If you want to be helpful, you should really be testing the beta instead of complaining about how you believe hings unfounded in fact. EDIT: Hiro, what facts? He even stated that he was basing his accusations on his own beliefs.

Is Obsidian trying to rush this game?
Trolling again Bryy. You said the OP was complaining to complain. No where did that come across from his post. And you said he didn't write anything wrong in his post. So you agree that: - the game is an alpha - they are rushing the game Both of which he backed up with "Because I think so". You're telling me you agree with that? Because he wasn't just making broad assumptions, they were very specific.

Star Wars Episode 7 Thread
Probably today, it is so big company that it will mess things constantly, if not in their main products (although I would say that The Lone Ranger (2013) at least was mess up and one could also argue same about John Carter (2012)) then in their byproducts like for example leaving certain main characters out of their action figure sets or t-shirts etc.. Disney has hits and misses like any other studio. Like any other thing. But Disney, by and large, is an extremely competent company with very good leadership.

I'll explain what I meant for those didn't understand what I meant. Video Game developers should create whatever game they want to create. Whether the focus is to make money or just create something cool should be up to them. Developers don't need SJW's trying to pressure them into creating a game based on the values they are currently promoting. Everything is about money. It is the lifeblood of any industry. And inclusion never hurt anyone.

What PoE can learn from Wasteland 2 release? (faults and lessons to learn)
This is the most important bit, across all gaming genres. In fact, animations are much more important than graphics and more significant because there is a clear ceiling for it. Poor animations just destroy any enthusiasm for a game, most people feel it but can't pinpoint it. Anyone that says graphics don't matter are trying to do one of three things: 1) Properly express what they really are trying to say, which usually is "don't waste resources on shiny baubles" 2) More focused on gaining street cred than having an actual discussion (Witcher fans are the absolute WORST at this) 3) #1 and #2

Dragon Age: Inquisition
From a fledgling developer standpoint, one that has a crew of three unpaid and four paid (three of which I should not have) and not 400, I do not understand open world games. They are incredibly ridiculous to plan - let alone design. They cost way too much money for the benefit, and you can have the same effect simply by having an interesting enough overworld map with enough stuff to discover and do. Wasteland 2 does this well. So does Mario World. And the original Dragon Age.
