Guys. The soundtrack. It's terrifyingly excellent.
-
... I don't know what you're trying to get across. Pausing makes it tactical.

A shame Brent Knowles and Dan Tudge left BioWare - they actually wanted to design RPGs. Yeah, it's a shame anyone in any profession wants to move on to do something new.
-
So, I'm pre-loading even though it tells me I cannot pre-load until 9pm. Makes me think I can launch the game at 9am Monday.
-
The game is just now starting to add in story elements. It's been a rather slow process, I know, but it is very fun in bursts. It's an incredibly well designed and executed game. It's not just "Minecraft in a Forest".

Anyone playing right now?

I really wish EA Access was on PC.

I thought you had a job in the gaming industry? Aren't you always going to conventions and stuff? Autism. Neurological, not physical.

New Trailer Yo [Now with Pre-order]
Bryy replied to Sensuki's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Once again, this isn't true because this isn't based on any existing system. -
That's cool. Think I'll end up going with the regular edition instead of the deluxe. The extra stuff just doesn't seem like that much of a pull. Like you had said previously, it's not like Origins, where there was a hole companion attached to the deluxe edition and since I'm getting the digital version, the soundtrack probably won't matter and the mounts don't seem like too big of a deal for the $10. Anyone else for the PS4 feel the same or am I the odd man out? + three mounts (undead unicorn ahoy!) + dragon skull throne + two mp chests + exclusive armor and schematics + exclusive weapons + soundtrack + $10 back To me, at least, that's worth it.

Just saw it on Steam. -
Watching today's meteoric fall of Unity has been interesting. Looks good on streams and I'll get it when I have the money and tech, but jesus.
-
I got denied disability today. Lame.
-
Wow. Thread backfire.
-
I'm going to have to pick my character carefully because nobody on stream wants to see me set up four different characters.
-
Planning on doing livestream. Still working out the details.

I wish there were more straightforward answers like this. All too often you see Kickstarter comments or otherwise where the dev just plays off the ignorance of the player by playing along that its "just bad". I am also boggled why you never see this explanation in a KS campaign: "The extra money is going towards multiplayer because that's where the extra money is going to. We won't spend existing funds on multiplayer. This is why it is a stretch goal". But apparently, the mere existence of a multiplayer option makes the product bad or "corrupt" (as if corruption is something akin to demonic possession). I know people that look at Dragon Age 3, in all its berth and scope, and still go "they could have done more without multiplayer".

Basically, it's a Hard Truth, but physical rewards are: 1) a bitch and a half to produce and ship 2) not the greatest thing enviornmentally 3) NOBODY LIKES ADDING PHYSICAL REWARDS. THEY JUST DO IT AS AN INCENTIVE. Like, even my friends who have done KS campaigns where the ENTIRE PURPOSE is a physical reward hate adding on stuff to different tiers.

I know a few people personally that have the game and they say it is one of those rare games that somehow manages to exist in the publisher vaccuum and be flat out amazing in every aspect.
-
Man, I'm getting so hyped.
-
I stuck to the regular edition. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Age:_Inquisition_Deluxe_Edition A zombie unicorn with a sword through its skull ... now I'm extra chuffed to get this in the mail one week from now. + Dragon Skull Throne + Armor and the schematics for it + Weapon pack + MP pack

It has microtransactions... Honestly, I don't understand why this is such a big turn off for people. Yes, it's a ****ty practice, but you don't need to spend any money at all to play. I get not liking it, but not playing the game at all because of it?
