what about mod support. will you have disadvantages using GOG because you haven't a platform like steam for distribution?
Well you will have the PE site on nexus and your own ingenuity. And Google. I mean how have we managed to mod games before Steam came and saved us?
I don't think we know either way yet. I am personally hoping for some awesome spells like in PST but we are likely to get a t least some of the fantasy mainstays like the aforementioned magic missile.
Because the soul eating mechanic was so hugely unpopular that even Ziets is on record saying it was a design mistake and he would try to push the sense of urgency and danger on the player by different means if he was making the game today.
it's almost certain that Cenega/1C are handling Polish and Russian translations. Oh man...now we're screwed. And we ourselves asked for it. I sincerely hope that at least the GOG version will be in English and untouched by Cenega/1C.
Well GOG offers all the games primarily in English and their distribution deal with Obsidian would be independent of the one with the translator (probably), so you should at least be able to get the original version easily.
BTW This is monkey paw in action
I haven't read the thread, just stopping by to say
NO
I would add something more but I don't feel like getting banned before seeing the backer forum badge at least once.
Truth be told I don't remember that much (it's been quite long since I last replayed Twitcher 1) but in any case I believe what Infinitron meant by rural mystique had nothing to do with sexual politics of Temeria and everything to do with the ration of politics vs exploration in game storyline.
How about that Diablo, I heard it's good.
But seriously, given that this is primarily a SP game and there is no party creation, I wouldn't hold my breath.
