Loading times! This is becoming the single biggest hindrance to enjoyment of game.
Perhaps related - is anyone getting worse performance the longer the game runs? http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/73539-performance-drop-after-a-few-map-transitions/

Performance drop after a few map transitions
bump
- Active/Selected character(s) green circle should be more obvious/visible

Seems like XP balance is out of whack
Justinian replied to AncientToaster's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I hope Josh is looking into this. Stuff like this is arguably more detrimental to many more users than some of the bugs they are fixing, and should probably be prioritised. Can we get a confirmation that it's being looked into at least?

Performance drop after a few map transitions
Hopefully patch 1.4 helps in this department. Would be good to get confirmation that they are actively looking into memory leaks and other factors that slow down the game over a session.

Quick saving and loading times increased greatly after 20~ hours
Yes, the delay in bringing up the load and continue options on the menu are due to the number of saves. Seperate issue.

Chanter Rime and Frost traps get saved, causing mobileobjects.save to grow out of control
Seems like there's something else continuing to affect load times: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72764-quick-saving-and-loading-times-increased-greatly-after-20-hours/page-8

Hard mode is too easy.
It's obvious stuff like the decreasing accuracy of enemies, the hugely inflated XP rewards and the impervious tanks that make me think tuning the game won't be very hard at all. Just a couple of sweeping changes should improve things drastically.

Saved Games Disappear
Justinian replied to greywolf00's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)This is still not fixed on latest 1.3 patch. I still occasionally load the game to one or more of my characters saves gone. When I quit and restart they are there again. I just don't understand why this is still an issue? Why is it so difficult to load files from a location? http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/75825-30-hours-all-gone-saved-games-missing/ http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/75459-save-game-gone http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/74266-crash-just-ate-all-my-saves http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/76505-saved-games-wiped-out http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/76380-game-disappeared

Game is corrupting mouse cursor graphic
I've read that this only happens on AMD graphics cards and is related to multiple monitors and screen bounds. Since the game has had issues with this sort of thing since launch I would guess that's the cause. Very annoying issue. Please look into.

Hard mode is too easy.
Do bounties reward significantly more XP than quests? I agree about the lock and trap XP being way too high and unecessary.

Reduce the Loading Times...
Another thing that may be related to loading areas, has anyone noticed game performance degrading over time? Seems like some memory leak issue since restarting the client reverts the performance back to normal. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/73539-performance-drop-after-a-few-map-transitions/

Game is corrupting mouse cursor graphic
I've had this happen twice now, and it only happens when I'm playing this game - the mouse cursor suddenly corrupts, both in and out of the game. The only way to fix it is to restart the computer. Anyone have this happen to them? i5-2500k 3.3Ghz 8GB AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB

Performance drop after a few map transitions
CPU/RAM usage never seems to be bottlenecked. Something is limiting the performance of the game over time as it's played. The performance in this game is so weird.

Who is this Thaos character?!
Also happens in other instances: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/76119-walking-off-the-beaten-path-is-unintentionally-spoiling-parts-of-the-story-minor-story-and-companion-spoilers/

Why does this game run poorly?
OK, on top of the generally poor performance of the game, there also appears to be memory leak issues which degrade performance over a play session: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/73539-performance-drop-after-a-few-map-transitions Is anyone else noticing performance degrading over time? I would guess it would be more noticeable on weaker PCs since more powerful machines have more headroom before performance is affected.

Performance drop after a few map transitions
Played for a longer session today than previously and really noticed the memory leak issue degrading performance over time. Areas which previously were buttery smooth started to stutter more and more. Restarting the game reverts performance back to normal. Please look into this devs - memory leaks are not cool.

Hard mode is too easy.
Super Bunnyhop mentioned how trivial difficulty was in the last 3rd of the game in his review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml3EdUJJOPwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml3EdUJJOPw

Quick saving and loading times increased greatly after 20~ hours
So the general concensus is that while the fix alleviated some of the load time issue, there's still other factors at play?

Review Watch?
I think his complaint wasn't that there was too much writing, but that it was unecessarily verbose for what it was trying to get across. I disagree but there you have it. I really hope the game doesn't fall below 90% for aggregate scores. There is definitely a perception difference between 89% and 90% that will affect future sales.
