Still playing Borderlands 2. Also started playing a little bit of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record(the sandbox mode is awesome for exploring!). -

Cool. I was wondering what they were up to.

This thread is proving itself to be quite educating

Actually, that game has a very decent SP campaign. The setting is also pretty awesome. It has this dark nordic vibe to it.

I am enjoying Borderlands 2 more than any game I have played this year. Should I be ashamed of myself?!

I was bored so I opened up wikipedia and gave in the month and date of my birth in the search box. The result was this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_27 Now something happened on that very day I was born: 1984 – Pop singer Michael Jackson suffers second degree burns to his scalp during the filming of a Pepsi commercial in the Shrine Auditorium. Seriously, this happened exactly on the same day I was born? How does your birthday look like? Something interesting happened that you might want to share? PS: May the moderators have mercy on my wicked soul...

Still playing Borderlands 2 and a little bit of Baldurs Gate. I beat Dishonored btw. Awesome gameplay, beautiful world with a great lore and a mediocre story with characters that range from good to disastrous.

Obligatory "How good is this rig/hardware?" thread

Thanks for the info! Yeah, it seems the 7850 is quite sufficent for the next 1-2 years. I might go for it. -

It is a price thing actually. I am not sure if it's a good idea to spend too much money on a GPU right now. Also, I am open to suggestions. Haven't had decent rig for years and as you have already noticed, I am quite the n00b. They didn't have any 1GB versions of the cards because again, where I live, people happen to be stupid enough to measure graphics cards by their memory. Moar GB = Moar Power!!! -
So I have to decide between 3 GPUs: AMD Radeon 7750 2 GB AMD Radeon 7770 2 GB nvidia 560 ti 2 GB The first two are quite cheaper compared to the nvidia card but the nvidia card is slightly stronger. So what do you guys suggest? Also, keep in mind that where I live(don't ask where), the 560 GPU costs almost as double as the 7750.

I always wanted to play the first Mass Effect on the ps3 because that's the platform I usually play most of my games on. Also, the first Mass Effect game was the most enjoyable in my opinion.

I played it for about 4 or 5 hours and then I gave up. The game was actually pretty decent. Good characters and dialogues, interesting story and setting. It also captures the tone and mood of the series perfectly. With all that said, I must say that the games combat is pretty boring and simple. It is worth playing if you're looking for some sort of Game of Thrones fix, other than that you might just wanna skip it.

Played some more Dishonored. This game is constantly impressing me with awesome level design and beautiful art direction. Definitly GotY material. Still have to play Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3 and XCOM until I can decide, but I doubt I will like any of them better than Dishonored.
