  1. The Bengals dating back to last year have played a top 10 defense in 11 of it

  3. If the combat is different then you lose the game, imo. The BG games and the ie were fun because of the strong stories and the tactical combat. The combat was an important part of the game, imo. I think a 3D engine would have to reproduce that tactical style of combat for the BG games to feel like a BG game. Although I think it could be done with the source engine.
  4. Same, Morrowind had so much potential, but it just fell short. If they can correct Morrowind
  5. Well, that
  6. Another one. If Obsidian and LA are not getting along, the it reminds me of Troika and the way they had bitter feelings between each of their publishers. There are only so many publishers out there. I would hate to see Obsidian burn bridges with the first one it worked with. But I agree, better looking movies and stereo sound isn't a big deal to be complaining about. Now if it were putting back in additional content, then that would be a different story.

  8. I'm sorry, but to me changing my stats from 16 int, 17 cha to 17 int, 16 cha is NOT a new role or even a new version of The Nameless One. I remember hating having everyone tell me I was so ugly, so I spent all my attribute points in charisma, hoping it would make people change their perception of me. It didn't. No matter what I did they kept calling me ugly and blah blah. The version of The Nameless One (who I would have preferred to give a name if I had a choice) I wanted to play just wasn't possible to play. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seems odd to be arguing this topic when you are such a Gothic fan. It is the name that makes such a difference between the two pregenerated characters in these games?
  9. I just watched Once Upon a time in Mexico a couple of days ago. I was going in thinking it was going to be horrible, but I actually liked it. Not a great movie, but it

  14. 5000,000 copies of IWD probably meant a decent profit. BIS was using an existing engine, development time wasn
  15. Ah, the old days. But they at one time allowed way off topic posts to count (but then took it away). Hence the spammers had huge post counts. LOL! And Xandar was the biggest spammer; he averaged like 100 posts per day. Oddly I never visited the wot forums, or posted on them. I was pretty much a General BIS forum regular, and the game forums like IWD. I think I was around 1500 before they took away post counts. And I remember the backlash. So many people wanted to keep their post counts. LOL! I could of cared less myself. But, this definitely shows how active a lot of people were on the old forums.
  16. I bought (old disks eventually wore out) the Baldur
  17. Fair enough, I
  18. I think there was just hatred towards France. Germany we understood the reason why they wanted to be non-aggressive because of their past. And Russia, not sure why, but no one was really too angry at them either. A little anger I'll admit, but not a lot. But France everyone hated. Probably has to do with the US liberating France in the World Wars and then they piss on and deface our cemeteries of dead US soldiers who fought for France. Unfortunetly, I still think most people in the US still do not like the French. Anyway, it was never a European thing, nor did anyone from the US blame the entire continent. Heck Poland, Britain, Spain, etc
  19. Well I read through the first page, and that
