  1. Is it not possible there was a universe of some sort before the big bang?
  2. I can't remember the last time I downloaded a game that I didn't already own, or wasn't abandonware. Are there really that many people in the U.S / U.K that do this? I think regards to music/films/tv, people have been downloading these for free for so long now, well over a decade, that to many it automatically feels like a right. For a lot of us, we've been extremely lucky to live through this golden age of freeloading, but it was never going to last in its current form. There will always be alternatives though, like actually putting the torrent index shared in the hive. No ISP is going to ban every single one of their customers, and no government is going to shutdown every one of their ISPs. You have to remember governments are made up of people to, many of whom would like to continue using the internet.
  3. Just another social experiment that'll footnote in history classes in years to come.
  4. Maybe they don't need a law to behave. Haha, just kidding. Filthy arabs : / What? You were all think it.

  6. In other related news, hellgate opens up in Norwich: Clicky (another one)
  7. You might consider a particle physics text book (university level), as the two subjects cross over each other quite a bit when it comes to electron shell configurations. I can't offer you any university level advice, but a-level chemistry required a solid understanding between the various measuring terms, moles, molar mass, relative molar mass - the list goes on and can get confusing between all the similiar terms.
  8. I think it all depends on the size of the cat.
  9. "The surviving cells are now thriving in a laboratory at the Open University in Milton Keynes. " What a fluffy Disney happy ending.
  10. I use Daemon tools myself, tis free and fully functional DVD/CD file | ISO burner.
  11. Have you tried switching it off and on?
  12. London is expensive but in terms of economic opportunity it is the only place you should seriously consider. Other places are perfectly viable but London is the bread winner hands down, not to mention contacts. It's not a good place for a family though. London is the sort of place an undergraduate goes to sacrifice 10-15 years of their life in the meat grinder whilst they're young and able to. Genuinely nice places in the UK would be Brighton, Oxfordshire (if you don't like living near people) and the west country (which also had the lowest paying jobs in the country). I know an American that went to live in Reading with his wife and two kids and they seem happy enough. Someone might mention Manchester. I lived there for a couple of years, it's nothing special in my opinion.
  13. "North Korea says it will use its "nuclear deterrent" in response to joint US-South Korean military exercises this weekend." "The war games - which begin on Sunday - will involve the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, 20 other ships and submarines, 100 aircraft and 8,000 personnel." Clicky /Popcorn
  14. I'm always disappointed when a promising tunnel turns out to be a cave.
  15. Be aware that scoring two or less digits is an indication of failure.
  16. I love how there's a link to an article titled "Mel Admits Beating, Threatening to Kill Ex" right underneath. Does nobody edit these online newspapers?
  17. I know what you mean. I think that's just because Mad Max was a childhood film for me, still one of my favourites.
  18. I think historically the only reason for a ban on cannabis is it lowers production.
  19. I don't think it's a question of it being dangerous, all drugs are dangerous when misused.

I wonder who'd win Ireland vs Israel. It's a shame they're not neighbours.
  21. Almost anything can happen when you're 17 and stoned, so I would start off by looking to become 17 again. You might have to do your own research into this as I'm not an expert in genetics.
