Eh, I like Pleks, but I dunno if I like him to the tune of $30million/6years. :/ Same contract as Ryan Kesler got in Vancouver.

The waiting game. Where is my Transformers? :/

"Jeez Calax, WoW again? WTF man. Why don't you like, play a good game!"

That should be 75% off for ME1.

I wasn't a fan of RTR myself. I was partial to SPQR. I can't remember if that was the whole name of the mod or not. It had some extra realism stuff, but it wasn't the main focus of the mod.

Been considering it. Question: does the Steam program itself cost anything per month or are you only charged when you actually buy a game, like iTunes? Only costs money when you buy a game.

You are missing out! They are the two best characters! They're versatile, fun, and their ultimates are super powerful with very low cooldowns. I have no expansion packs, so I'd probably have to host (otherwise I couldn't join your games). Roland has a crappy special, but Mordecai has an awesome special. Roland has ammo regen though. Very helpful for my combat rifle. Even more helpful with certain SMGs. It doesn't matter who hosts the game. If someone with the DLC tries to warp to those locations, they get a message that says not all players have it so you can't go there.

I take it this means, then that retail players must use Gamespy & can't use other things, like this GameRanger? All copies of Borderlands run Gamespy so I would assume that both Steam and Retail copies would be able to use GameRanger in the same manner. I haven't used it myself though. I always just went through Gamespy.

I've heard Zombie Island is worth it, but I haven't tried it. I quite enjoyed Secret Armoury, but there is a crapload of travel with no fast travel stations. Would probably be less of a pain with multiple players so you have something to concentrate on other than how long the damn road is. Mad Moxie is pretty much just arena combat I think.

Yeah, the money counter stops at $10 million, but the game does keep track of your actual stock of cash beyond that. At one point I was losing nearly $5 million per death, but the counter wasn't moving. I think the XP meter does the same thing. If you install Secret Armoury of General Knoxx it should acknowledge any extra you have above and beyond level 50.

You play against Steam players the same way you play against Retail players. Everything goes through Gamespy. Anyway, I've got a hunter that has finished a full game once for a second run if that's the way people want to go. Otherwise I'd be up for a level 1 start. Just, no soldier. I've got three completed runs with a soldier and would prefer not doing another one when I still haven't played Brick or Siren.

The only part about it that I don't understand is the return. I can't believe that Eller is the best they could get in return. However there are a crap load of goaltenders going into free agency this year. :/

Yes they did.

Had my second road test this morning. Was failed out on bull**** last time around, but was only dinged for a couple very minor things this time. I've got my full license now, just in time for it to expire in 3 months! Will have to figure out if they have the renewals in the same spot as the used to be. There was talk of moving it, but I don't think it went through. Also I have a giant mosquito bite on my arm that appeared seconds after passing my test. :/

The example that always comes to mind for me is Civilization 4, built on Gamebryo. You know, that engine that Bethesda used for Oblivion?

Dunno what else I can add other than my condolences to his family and friends. Never spoke with him much myself, but I'll definitely miss seeing him around here.

Hey mkreku! I know you're around here somewhere. Phaneuf to be named captain on Monday and Kaberle to devils?

So my prediction wasn't an instant death sentence for the Flyers, but it caught up with them eventually! 0-7 in the final three rounds! Woo! Kane scored the game winning goal in OT. Maybe 5 feet from the goal line and managed to sneak it in far side past Leighton and literally buried it under the netting. Chicago has their first Stanley Cup since 1961 leaving Toronto with the longest active Cup drought in the league. Also, Rob Blake is retiring

Mandatory Steam usage? I use Steam already, but dammit, I hate you guys so much right now. Why must you infect everything Steam?! WHY?!

I had a big long reply to this all typed up and ready to submit, but I wasn't sure anyone would be interested in reading my wall of text about how each of the negatives you've outlined for Alpha Protocol can either be applied to the Mass Effect series as well, or could instead be considered a positive. In short, it's not necessarily that you are being too harsh on Alpha Protocol, but rather that you seem to be able to overlook the same flaws in other games. On another note, I'd like to bring this article to everyone's attention. It highlights the divide among AP reviews between those that think it's a worthwhile, if flawed experience and those that think it's so horribly broken as to be not worth playing at all. It was an interesting read and contains quotes from numerous reviews to help illustrate the point.

I had the perks, but was not using the gear. I would be disappointed if it was too easy to complete on hard. I would however appreciate it being possible when that is exactly the type of situation that my character is built and specialized for. I have yet to be able to beat an 11 or 12 node bypass with a 20 second timer. Similarly, those hacks are maddening with sluggish PC controls, especially when you have to complete two hacks within a time limit.

Specialization in Sabotage with 14 points. I was getting Bypasses with 10+ points, Hacks with 15 second timer, 4 second resets and 4-5 letter combinations. This was on hard difficulty. I would assume that at 14 points I should be able to hack most if not all objects. I'm not entirely sure what all affects the difficulty of the minigames. I was getting those hack settings on the last mission in my second hub, but on the first few missions of the final hub I was back up to 25+ seconds with 8 letter combos and 4-5 node bypasses.

The Dentons were new tech in the original. Herrman and Navarre were both mostly mech augs. This being a prequel, I'd expect the mech augs to be much more prevalent than nanite augs if they are even around yet.

When was this confirmed? Why has it taken this long to implement this?
