Shattered Horizon free weekend is finishing up today so I've been getting in some more time while there are people around. Had a few good matches and one "rivalry" with another player that was pretty evenly matched until the last round when he went around 7-1 against me. The last battle match I played went so well. We managed to get the enemy down to 2 of 7 control points and then it was like they realized that the match had started and steamrolled my team.
I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of the weapons again. Last time I tried to play after the introduction of the new weapons I just got my ass handed to me all over the place. Assault Rifle for Skirmish, Shotgun for Assault/Battle. I still like the old one gun system better. Hitscan weapons are so much easier to use. :D
I've usually had it when trying to target multiple enemies melee enemies. They'll get tangled up in front of me and the one I'm targeting will end up behind another causing all of my shots to hit the target in front, usually doing minimal damage. :/
Try turning on VATS just before someone disappears through a doorway. The target will keep moving and disappear while you shoot the wall instead.
Yeah, I think the Powder Gangers depends on how you deal with the part of the gang that moved into the Vault.. um. 34 was it?
Yeah, there are two slides for the Powder Gangers. The first involves those at the NCRCF and the second one is about the ones in the vault.
I got killed last night because of that. "Ooo, more red bars, let's go kill the-DEATHCLAWS! AUGH!"
I pick fights with people just so ED-E will start his little musical cues.
... if you're not careful I may drag you into a late night round of vs with der and a regular crew who have a tendancy to incinerate anyone near them.
At least my friendly fire stats have decreased considerably from when I first started playing with you guys.
Only because if it didn't you'd have Phoe talking your ear off about how to get better... and you'd be dead because you can't aim well enough.
Hah! Bruenar didn't seem to think I needed to improve my aim.

The Steam clock should still be running, but the save file clock should not. Steam tells me that I have around 31 hours logged, but my save file shows closer to 24-25 hours.
Right, so they created this thread, which is exactly the same thing as the thread that already existed, but with a different title.
They wanted the common naming convention to keep things simple. Or you know, maybe they just don't like you.
I'm level 16 right now. I had a hell of a time trying to get Rex to Jacobstown last night. Rex was fond of running off to go smack a group of Cazadors or the party of Legionaries that spawned near a farm. Rex was usually dead about 6-7 seconds after combat began. Finally got fed up enough that I bought a sniper rifle, left Rex behind and went hunting on my own to clear out everything ahead of me. Cazadors were one shot each. The Legion Assassins could take two if I didn't get a good first shot off, but the normal legion guys were only one shot.
I haven't bothered using any other companions because they're just way too fond of picking fights by themselves when you'd rather not engage enemies and there doesn't seem to be any way to call them off.
The 10mm does less damage per hit, but shoots faster. If you are shooting at something with armour, you want more DAM. Something unarmoured, you want more DPS.
You must have had exploited a bug then, because that didn't work with me.
It's impossible to find all 3 terminals in just 30 secs!
Nah, he just used SCIENCE!
Legion and NCR money seem to be intended as exchange for chips. After you get chips, you can probably exchange back to caps. I never did this, though, so I can't confirm.
Sell it to any merchant for bottle caps? That's what I've been doing.
