  1. It would be really odd if local co-op with a gamepad and M+K isn't allowed. It won't affect me, but it seems like a basic feature.
  2. You always need focus to block. Some enemies can damage you even when you're blocking.
  3. There's no point in discussing who's an alt and who isn't. I'm looking forward to the story, myself.
  4. I'll be playing through the plot with my partner. We enjoy both the combat and story.
  5. I think that on PC, in general everything in the GUI could be smaller without negatively affecting user-friendliness.
  6. You can zoom the mini map a bit. It's down on the d-pad.
  7. The trick is that you can change the direction of the third strike. just point to wherever you want to hit with your third strike, and that's where you'll hit.
  8. I don't know, actually. I figured Square would have opened them by now, so I'm not sure what their plan is at this point.
  9. A pop up appears during the game telling you how to access the inventory. A note to the devs is that there should a pane with the full controls in the ingame help menu.
  10. Yes, it's F. With a controller it's one of the pad directions, I believe.
  11. Less talking about each other, more talking about Dungeon Siege 3 in a balanced and polite fashion.
  12. Dungeon Siege was noted at the time of release for being dumbed down compared to previous RPGs. People complaining that the game played itself was common. Now, in this forum, plenty of people since the release of the demo have been complaining that Dungeon Siege 3 dumbed down things compared to the originals. I find that amusing. Now, regarding your control issues, I wholeheartedly agree that there should be customizable controls in every game. I especially understand how it is a big problem for people who are left handed. However that doesn't mean that aren't any PC controls in this DS3. It just means you don't like the controls and would like to see them changed.
  13. The fun bit for me is that the old school purists are defending a game noted for the dumbing down and streamlining against dumbing down.
  14. There's another guy on Steam's forums with the same problem that is also Ukrainian. Follow the instructions by ObsidianEnt here.
  15. I'm really at a loss as to why your crash is happening.
  16. I'd say it looks a bit better than Sacred 2, especially when it comes to lighting.
  17. Of course, that would be best. Unfortunately, many PC games with controller support these days only support the 360 gamepad and Dungeon Siege 3 seems to be no different. Interestingly, one PC game that supported most controllers out of the box was Square's own Last Remnant. It even had specific button prompts for my gamepad.
  18. Good old hypocrisy. Not really. FNV still has sucky elements that got carried over from Fallout 3. But at least the story and game world isn't such a big ****up, which is the point here. Not that this belongs into this thread here now, though... The point is that the "hardcore Fallout fans" already hated Fallout 3 when it was just announced by Bethesda because it wasn't 2D isometric. Then when Obsidian made another variation of Fallout 3, suddenly it became awesome because some oldtimers from Interplay/BIS worked on it. Actually, the point is that Fallout 3 had bad writing, bad quest design and a bad plot. New Vegas didn't. The engine was the same horribleness while the combat was marginally improved. So there are reasons to prefer New Vegas, apart from being worked on by BIS oldtimers.
  19. This isn't a Diablo clone, it's a Dark Alliance clone. Oh, and randomized dungeons are horrible.
