I just got an email from Paradox stating my second T Shirt and the playing cards are on the way. No mention of the actual Collector's Edition. On top of that Paradox has managed to screw up my delivery address, as the building number and floor aren't included, which means the items are being shipped to nowhere at all. I am not amused.

The collector's book was never a strategy guide. You got the hard copy of the lore/world book.

Even without considering extreme minmaxing, I remember reading what was basically the exact same thread but about Baldur's Gate's companions in various different boards way back when.

I got the items necessary for two fan of flames scrolls from the first areas, which allowed me to take out the two bears on hard with my level two fighter.

There is stealth mode, which is significantly slower. It's the alt key, I think. Unless you mean walking at all after playing for 12 hours. In which case I also recommend getting up from the PC every 30 minutes, in order to unrust those pesky knees.

Yep, this is quite the hassle when using the cookbook. Outside of the US pretty much everyone has to do conversions in order to use the recipes appropriately.

That's not correct. You start out by creating only one character but, later on, you can create a full party of custom characters at the adventurer's hall.
