Prince of Persia: Warrior Within While the gameplay seems to be standard PoP fare, which I enjoy a great deal, the soundtrack is starting to get on my nerves (after 15 minutes of listening to it). It's generic rock crap. In an ancient middle eastern fantasy setting. Why the hell?

I really want to see how Bethsoft will pull off actual dialogues. They've never ever done them, even in a competent fashion.

Those character faces look bleeding awesome. I want to see how they move. Also, AP now has a new logo, available on the FTP.

Dark Messiah really deserved a lot more love that it got. Melee combat was awesome fun, even if the level design was a bit crap.

That trailer does seem better, even if it was just combat. At least the combat seems like an improvement over Oblivion.

Whether Tolkien is overrated or not, is beside the point, he made up orcs more or less from scratch, and his elves had bugger all to do with European mythology elfs. At most you could say he stole the names but that's pretty much meaningless. Fantasy in the modern, literary, "elves and epicness" sense of the word is derived from Tolkien. Also, I'd like to point that while Tolkien wasn't, in any way a great writer, modern fantasy writers haven't exactly improved upon him.

Tolkien style elves most definitely weren't. And before Tolkien there was no such thing as "elves". "Elfs" was the plural. Orcs were also a Tolkien invention. He made them up completely and added the word "orc" from Old English, meaning simply "monster."

I guess that pipboy design might be necessary with an XBox controller, but on the PC that interface would be incompetent crap. Also, the fatman is just stupid. I'd like to see how a full quest might work.

Krez was making stuff up, but the sega fanboy person apparently wasn't. So there is some footage from Sega gamer's day, we just haven't seen it.

The Witcher's EE is free for people who already own the game. This info was in the first announcement for the EE and as such, has always been known. I don't see where all this confusion is coming from.

Considering the witcher is a "playa", you do that a lot in the game.
