It's not just the OCs. The one controllable character only combat, really brings the whole experience down even if it's a mod. I rememebr trying out some of the more well regarded mods, and I really couldn't get past the stupid combat. Also, the mods sharing all the assets with the hated OC didn't help.

This makes about as much sense as asking for stat based combat in Halo. Obsidian will implement NINJA ROBOT CRATE KITTENS before they add full stat based combat in AP.

I really have trouble understanding all the love for Suikoden II. It's only any good when compared to the first one. Howeever, the strategy battles are still crap, the atrocious writing still gets in the way of the plot exposition, the fighting system is shallow and too easy, and the huge number of characters jsut makes character development silly and pointless.

It's not a question of being uptight. It's just that including lesbian stuff in a game creates an increase in the number of units that are sold while gay sex does the exact opposite. Sex sells, especially lesbian sex.

Lesbianism always makes a game better. I mean, name one game that wasn't made better by the inclusion of lesbians. See? You can't.

I get the feeling horror games might not be for you. I love scary games, and I hate that tactic. There's shallow scary and deep scary.

Kotor combat is NWN combat with three characters to control instead of one.

Just saw The Dark Knight as well. It was freaking awesome. The acting was generally great, especially the brilliance from Ledger, Gyllenhaal was much better than Holmes, the plot was pretty tight despite it being a long-ass movie, the camera work was at times pure, liquid awesomeness and I was really absorbed by the movie from start to finish. , and Ledger's death really puts a damper on the next Batman movie. Best super hero movie ever, easily.

I'm betting the animation system wasn't up to it. Crying is fairly hard to pull off.

How about Superman as the villain? An altered Superman to fit Nolan's view of Batman.

I found that the combat in NWN2 improved as the number of party members increased. The busier the better.

I didn't like the orc caves themselves in particualr, but I rather liked the open mountain bits where you kicked the snot out of the orcs in a wide open plain. It was the first time in NWN2 for me where the combat didn't feel mostly like a chore.

I'm betting that if you finish your missions stealthily, the later missions will be easier because of it, due to no one knowing who you are. At least I hope it will be like this.
