I've read a few of the books. It's a very strange game. I hear it's more bogged down with dice rolls than their normal games.

Which is actually a pretty good game in it's own right. Though I prefered FREElancers.

Well, on the plus side, at least we have a single, fun, replayable game that didn't end in a cliffhanger. (I'm looking at you, Psi-Ops!) So it'll always be a complete gaming experience.

Looks interesting, though "spiritual successor" is definitely an overused term these days

The sheer fact they backed down and are allowing the craploads of hard work these people already did for this game is quite commendable. Though Activision are still on my crap list... unless they approach Obsidian for a new Vampire: Masquerade game. Not gonna happen, unless White Wolf changes their tune. You may one day see a Vampire: Requiem game.... which I'd rather not contemplate. Though, I once heard there was a nWoD mmo in the works somewhere....

Well, I guess I'll mark this one up to my gaming style. I tend to play things very very defensively, even when in close/mid range. Take your time... wait for your opening... heal when needed... run like hell if things start to go south.
