Why invent other words for things that already have a name, it's called normal people. At the risk of sounding like a bigot, I'm sorta inclined to agree with the bigoted comment above. I wouldn't word it as "normal people" since that kinda implies others have something wrong with them, but the standard? Yeah. And the reason I bring it up is because I highly doubt "cis" has any sort of scientific or factual relevance that neccesitates it's existence. Rather, I get the sense some SJW thought it was awful that a person without a minority position on their gender gets a very normal term and others have to put up with having labels, so they simply invented a label for the sheer purpose of equality. And to me, if my suspicions are correct then it's yet another example of putting dem feels before dem thoughts, as the word literally serves no purpose that wasn't already served by alternatives. It only implies tthere's something wrong with the others if you want it to. Especially considering the movement towards embracing the weird. If 99.3% of people are cisgendered, you can safely call that "normal"

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/fuffy/news/?a=111604 Looks like Marvel doesn't like the upcoming Fantastic Fail movie either.

Now imagine one that does all of the above! Women would be obsolete! Long live the patriarchy!

Does anyone else think its hilarious that Ubisoft hyped the crap out of Unity and its getting hate layered on it for being broken and meh, and they barely even marketed Rogue and people are saying its a must-buy?

I'm really digging the Flash. Liking it more than Arrow now. Agents of SHIELD is probably my favorite show on network tv though. Pretty sure the city is Attilan.

I think that was at FanExpo Vancouver. Robert Englund was super nice. Line was too big for Bruce Campbell, but his Q&A was something special.

I didn't mind the Tim Story ones. They screwed up Galactus pretty badly, and Doom wasn't a monarch, but they nailed most of the rest.

Possible Fantastic Fail synopsis floating around. Reed and Ben are convenience store clerks in community college. Sue hates science. Doom is an Occupy hacktivist who hates frankin storm because he's a rich scientist. I'm not even mad anymore. Its gone full circle and now its just funny.

I would be demanding a refund.

Miller did a Robocop comic series based on his script, Robocop 3 is closer to it than 2, but you can see a lot of 2 in it.

Watch the first one. Its a classic. The other two can be avoided and you're not missing anything. They made a 4 episode miniseries a while back that wasn't too bad either. Cheesy because it was for TV, but the story didn't suck.

Fantastic Chronicle sounds so bad I have to wonder if Disney is bribing Trank in hopes the film sucks so bad FOX hands the rights over to Marvel. Now if only Sony would sell Spidey film rights back so we can have a decent Spider-Man film. Anyways, I finally got around to watching Thor: The Dark World. Not bad, but bland and probably the weakest of phase 2. I wonder if T:TDW would have been better had Mads Mikkelson not passed on Malekith to do Hannibal. I heard rumblings of Sony and Marvel being in talks to tie a Spidey reboot into the MCU. At least the Doom news has pushed most nerd news from a "wait and see" position to a "ok, this is bad" position.

Essentially, its still early for the Current Gen systems, and the Last Gen systems still have a huge audience, so they had Unity focus exclusively on the current gen likely so they have an engine for further sequels, and they did Rogue for the massive audience that still exists on 360 and PS3. For all the single dollars.

there's a difference between hardworking and ambitious though. I agree that someone who works his ass off builds a business etc should have a higher standard of living than a burger flipper, but someone who works his ass off as a burger flipper shouldn't have to live in poverty.

Seems Asscreed Rogue is getting better reviews than Unity.

China would be the obvious one. South Korea would be the dominant political force in a unified Korea due to its economic might, which means China loses its ally in North Korea, especially once the North Koreans realize it was China propping up the North Korean government for so long.

I think the biggest thing I'm looking forward to with Fantastic Failure is the Honest Trailer.

Actor playing Dr Doom in Fox's "Fantastic Four" claims doom I the movie is an antisocial programmer with the online handle of Doom. They're trying to full on Batman and Robin this one.

I was reading an article the other day about how the fall of the wall was the beginning of the fall of western civilization, because we took the wrong lessons from it. We took the lesson of Capitalism Good -> Communism bad, and began deregulating everything, which lead to short term economic boom, long term economic disaster, and there is little we can do to reverse course. At the time of thwfall western economies had struck a decent balance between capitalist and socialist ideals, and that was what beat the Soviets. It wasnt Capitalism vs Communism, it was Moderation vs Extremism.

He was fair, and mostly correct. I may need to watch more of his show. I mean at the end of the day, it really isn't a big issue. If the journos win and they get to keep being corrupt and pushing an agenda, and the publishers bow to the journo's pressure and do a game with a gay trans person of colour main character, and it doesnt sell because 99% of the gaming public cant relate because the number of gay trans PoCs is such a tiny part of the market, we'll still end up getting male power fantasy games because they sell.

On whether the "magic" is there or not in CRPGs
Oerwinde replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Computer and Console
Its not just RPGs, I felt the "magic" when I booted up Assassins Creed 2, faded a bit by Revelations, but was right back again in 3. I couldn't wait to get home from work to boot them up, and would stay up late playing. None of the games I've played since have had tha, Divinity Original Sin, Wasteland 2, etc, all good games, but I haven't come close to finishing them and am spending my gaming time mostly on EUIV now, which has already got like 250 hours out of me. -
Apparently they're Nazi lizard people riding dinosaurs. So that may just be more awesome.

Toyota selling new cars at Ford dealerships so Ford gets 30% of Toyota's sales is the analogy I've always found illustrates why they don't want to do it. Well, if they pull them out of the ford dealership to sell them out of the abandoned warehouse in the seedy part of town. The Gamdeals reddit was all over how even at 75% discounts on Uplay, everyone waits for Steam or GMG because at least you're guaranteed to get the game you buy.

Yeah, Oliver Campbell had the source in the government that claimed that people were sending threats to themselves. Kingofpol claimed Totilo gave him the screencaps of the Nick Denton facebook posts, which turned out to be fake. Thats my understanding at least.
