  1. Its not that the SJWs have opinions that we don't agree with that makes them retarded, its that they constantly parrot idiotic slogans, repeat debunked data as if repeating it will make it true, flail like retards, and have no idea how to interact with others in a civilized manner.
  2. Ended up with a few extra bucks on my last paycheck so I preordered Stellaris. The Extraterrestrial Thursday streams have me convinced I will like it and I want to support Paradox.
  3. Yeah, I just decided I had a patch of ugly overgrown grass in the back yard, it would be nice to grow a few things. So I dug it out, a friend in construction gave us some bricks, and we bought some seeds and plants. We learn more every year. I want to get a bunch of cheap planters and grow more potatoes with a method I saw online where you cut big holes in one planter and put it in another, so when your potatoes are ready you can just pull the planter with holes out and you have access to the potatoes without having to dig.
  4. And I agree, as I said the acting was fine, I even think that the script was serviceable, but the action was just not there. Nothing got me exited in the movie. Movie needs a different director. I liked the fight to rescue Martha. Not quite Netflix Daredevil in quality, but close. Affleck is directing the standalone I believe. And he is co-writing it with Geoff Johns. Some people aren't GJ fans, but I liked his GL run, and I hear his Aquaman is great.
  5. Its a really small garden, we have like an 8 foot by 2 foot little spot, plus some planters. We have a blueberry plant in one, and several strawberry plants in another, while what we grow in the plot varies each year. Right now I have corn, carrots, beets, butternut squash, watermelon, lettuce, peas, and garlic planted. Not enough to sell, but enough to provide some fresh fruit and veggies for a couple meals in the summer/fall. The corn we grew last year was some of the best we had ever had. We only had one blueberry and two strawberries actually fruit last year, but the Strawberries are already looking much better this year. I also dug up the small 10 ft by 1/2 foot bit between the fence and the concrete patio to plant more corn this year, as for some reason the corn grows really well in the more claylike soil. This was a photo from last year so you can see how small it is. There is only one other person in our co-op that has the space in their unit to grow anything, so they do, much better than we do. A couple others have some planters. I don't know how common it is for others though.
  6. Freaking Squirrels eating all my seeds. 3 of the 12 corn I planted have sprouted, none of my squash, 3 out of 16 beets, I had to replant the sprouted watermelon because they had been dug up, one of them looks like it survived, but the other is questionable. None of my lettuce, and 4 carrots out of the like 30 seeds I planted have sprouted. On the other hand I think I left a potato behind when I harvested last year, because I went out and there was suddenly a potato plant in there, which I didn't plant. Also, garlic leaves are freaking tasty.
  7. Well there many people who support and identify with so called "SJW " causes and campaigns but they are more involved in SJ causes in RL ..so they dont call themselves "SJW" Like me for example, so if you generalize about all " SJW " then you going to include people who only support SJ causes in RL as there strong ties between SJW and people who support SJ in RL. It doesnt seem reasonable to call them all insane ? Sure, if you have no idea what the term means. That definition fits SJWs to a t. Thanks for linking that definition because now we have a standard to measure SJWs by. In future, professionals should be able to address the root cause at an early age before the retardation sets in. Hiro does it not bother your moral compass that you can generalize about millions of people like you do? Calling all SJW insane or irrational or whatever the latest insult is Surly it must bother you a bit...just a smidgen? The truth hurts. Oh I support the truth, I believe in the truth And if this was the truth you, know me Meshugger, I would be the first one supporting it Bruce, you aren't a real SJW because you support the free market.
  8. Noooooo please don't say that in a public forum! He might hear about it and think it's a good idea. Isn't that what the primaries are? Now I want to see Gordon Ramsay moderate a debate.
  9. I thought Affleck played him well, and Jeremy Irons is the best Alfred, but the script did not serve the talent. Hopefully the stand alone movie will be better
  10. Definitely liking how Dungeon Keeperish the nest construction is looking. Sim Ant advanced!
  11. So Netflix did the obvious and ordered a Punisher spinoff series. Since he was the best part of Daredevil S2 I am excite.
  12. Sure, if you have no idea what the term means. Definition Mental retardation is a developmental disability that first appears in children under the age of 18. It is defined as an intellectual functioning level (as measured by standard tests for intelligence quotient) that is well below average and significant limitations in daily living skills (adaptive functioning). I think he's right. The average is just really low now.
  13. Well I did think The Beast was twisted, nefarious and unlikable ....so I'm getting more hardcore Finding out the Beast was a molested child giving up his humanity for the power to punish his abuser and keep the magical land that rejected him from rejecting him again made him a little more sympathetic, but the whole no humanity thing makes him pretty much irredeemable now.
  14. His treatment of Julia was his biggest down mark. She was his best friend since childhood and as soon as he got into Brakebills he tossed her aside like she was nothing. After he finds out his dad has cancer and Julia puts that dream spell on him he gets better though, as he sees how badly he hurt Julia that she was willing to do that to him and realizing magic can't do everything. His relationship with Alice really made him more likeable too. After the truth test and Brakebills south everyone became much more likeable. Julia was really the only character I liked from the beginning, as you saw how much she cared for Quentin, and you sympathized with her not making it into Brakebills and her life collapsing afterwards due the the revelation that magic exists and outside the school access to magic requires a lot of underhanded methods.
  15. Hatred hit 2 bucks on Steam so I bit the bullet. I don't regret the 2 bucks, but more than that might be questionable. I enjoy the murder and destruction, but the controls are terrible. Need to boot up Shadows of Mordor again. I got the game of the year upgrade for 2 bucks last week.
  16. As long as they don't pull a Legend of the Seeker and make it nearly unrecognizable.
  17. At least thats a series fans won't mind a little bit of condensing and creative license
  18. Completely meaningless argument unless you can provide reasons in themselves why anyone should take heed of what the people of Paris or Berlin thinks over what the people of the streets of Moscow say. Not meaningless at all. Its actually quite simple because its about the reality of how well a certain leader has done in running a country overall Putin has a very high approval rating in Russia yet the Russian economy is in a recession and Putin has mismanaged economic growth....yet he is still popular So if the average Russian citizen thinks Putin is a great leader and they think Trump is a good leader they either don't understand or care about economic metrics and how they reflect on a leaders true success So in summary if your economy is in a recession this is a bad thing, it doesn't matter if you have a strong military or if you control the domestic media narrative and the citizens "think you great " or " its the fault of the West for our financial situation " This is about the economic reality of any country and how the citizens hold there leaders responsible for that economic reality Did you just refute your own argument? Oh my. No I didn't and its not an argument but an observation based on economics and " what makes a good leader " Let me explain it differently, I dont think Putin is a good leader and I don't think Trump is a good leader Many Russians think Trump will make a good leader but they also think Putin is a good leader Many people outside of Russia, like the Germans and French, don't think Trump will make a good leader So who carries the most credibility on this topic? Is it the average Russian citizen or the average German or French citizen...and the topic being " is Trump a good leader " ? Again, the credibility lies completely between the representative of the nation and his constituents, as they are the ones he is supposed to represent and is accountable to. You not suggesting that when we measure a leaders value or credibility we only look at what the citizens of the country he rules think? In certain cases that just doesn't reflect the reality of how good or bad a leader is, in the 1930's many Germans thought Hitler was great ....did this patriotism and resurgence of German pride mean he was really a good leader...look at the outcome of what happened So we have opinions of leaders based on historical context and measurable developments and government policy outcomes like .. "how is the state of healthcare, human rights abuses, how is the economy being managed " etc. So yes the views of citizens matter but they just part of the overall way we reflect on leaders Hitler brought germany out of the worst economic disaster it ever saw, rebuilt German industry, and made it a power able to challenge most of the worlds great powers at once. If Hitler's wildly successful economic policies don't make him a good leader, why does Putin's failure make him a bad one?
  19. The characters all level out towards the end of the season. Even Penny isn't as much of a jerk.
  20. Got the papers from the accountant to sign. I got 50 bucks. Wife got 1750. Figure I'll use mine to buy Stellaris.
  21. "Swamp Donkey" made my co-worker do a spit take. Been watching a lot of Paul Joseph Watson since his appearance on the Rubin Report. Between him, Black Pigeon Speaks, Gavin McInnes, Milo, and the Prager University videos, I'm starting to lean more Right than I did before, especially on feminism and immigration.
  22. I would have just made him Bhutanese. Similar traditions to Tibet, nicer location, doesn't piss off the chinese.
  23. This. Q&A with her. Only downside is the Vegan thing, though she tosses in a Scott Pilgrim reference that makes it less uncool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RBow9Bdmgc
  24. I'd like Bioware to do a steampunk game. I don't see Obsidian doing a whole lot of AAA games in the near future, and Bioware's cinematic style would better show off the aesthetic.
