US Election 2016, part II
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/jun/16/donald-trump-mexico-presidential-speech-latino-hispanic Yes he did There used to be a time when the use of generalizations was intended to speed up discussion because most people understand when you say "mexico is sending their rapists and drug dealers" you don't mean every mexican is a rapist and drug dealer. Because its quicker than saying "a great number of illegal mexican immigrants are at a higher rate than American citizens engaging in criminal activities such as drug dealing and rape". Mexico actually releases instruction booklets on how to better your chances of illegal immigration to the US. So while he may have just said mexico is sending them as rhetoric, but its actually true. So really when you have a crime ridden impoverished nation supporting their poor and criminal to leave the country for its rich neighbour illegally , how is a wall out of the question?

Should the UK leave the EU?
Spain threatened to close the border with Gibraltar, I've seen some sources say they threatened to retake it, but I doubt that. France threatened to let migrants cross the channel unopposed.

US Election 2016, part II
Surly this highly irresponsible behavior wouldnt be a reason for people to suddenly vote Trump? I would imagine people who burn the US flag would be in the minority? It doesn't matter Bruce. People largely don't put a lot of effort into researching who to vote for. They just watch the news and see the people opposed to Trump burning American flags, waving Mexican ones, beating up Trump supporters, and hearing "Make America Great Again" "Deport illegals stealing jobs from Americans" "Make the people who benefit from our military either meet their obligations or pay for our protection" and think Trump is the sane one.

Should the UK leave the EU?
This must be one of the most inaccurate posts you have ever made? You trolling I assume Lets keep it simple....is there one thing in this post that is true? Well, several EU nations have threatened retaliation if the UK leaves. Likely because if they leave they won't be the last.

Should the UK leave the EU?
Yes, I must recognize I underestimated this whole dislike of the governmental structures that the EU enforces in the UK I expect people to only be concerned about the potential economic impact but I see many UK citizens have raised some valid issues with what you mentioned The out vote seems to be more about sovereignty than economics Bruce. People want control over their future, and in the EU they don't have that.

What's on the idiot box?
The season that just ended was actually pretty good. They had to make up for the atrocious last season

European Refugee Crisis : Part 2
- What's on the idiot box?
I like Matt Ryan's portrayal of Constantine but I don't think it fits with the super hero TV shows. Really needs to be his own show or part of another supernatural show imo. I wouldn't mind CW cancelling Supernatural and replacing it with a Hellblazer show. I was under the impression Legends of Tomorrow was going to be an anthology show with a rotating cast and JC was going to be part of a supernatural themed second season.- What's on the idiot box?
I'm guessing the rumor Matt Ryan's John Constantine was going to be one of the main cast members next season isn't true- European Refugee Crisis : Part 2
I didn't mean to imply he was a nazi sympathizer, but that his views aren't surprising- European Refugee Crisis : Part 2
*yawn* another pointless "we need to open our hearts and our borders"-diatribe, WAIT WHAT? He can't very well rail against mass han chinese migration to Tibet changing the identity of the region, then think its ok elsewhere. Plus he was good friends with various nazis and other nationalists.- What's on the idiot box?
Yeah, WB needs to stop meddling in the TV side for some midguided idea that it will negatively affect the movies. Let them do what they want.- The 'Sidian Tyranny thread
No, I don't believe it was out. It isn't easy to change during development, but it's been done. It's hard to say because we don't have a definitive date for this project's beginning afaik. I know Star Citizen has done it (they've also been converting their version of CryEngine to entirely 64bit), but that's a huge difference in resources for Obsidian compared to Cloud Imperium. Duke Nukem Forever changed engines like what, 4 or 5 times?- What You Did Today
While anything under 15 degrees is too cold? I've noticed a lot of people feel like that on our latitude I start wearing a jacket at about 15 degrees, then switch from shorts to pants at around 10. Switch from jacket to winter coat around 2. Doesn't often get much colder than that in Vancouver.- What You Did Today
I'm super white, so anything over 20 degrees is too hot- Should the UK leave the EU?
Overall, I don't understand why getting out of the EU's regulations and freeing business up would negatively affect the economy.- New Vampire game being teased by Obsidian?
I swear, some folks are just obsessed with everything being isometric. Most don't even know what isometric actually is, either, it's just associated with classic games like Fallout so gets bundled along as a buzz word. If you're making Bloodlines 2 then it should really be... well, Bloodlines 1 was a bit clunky with its mix of 3p and fp, but there may not be a more elegant solution and something 3p or fp would be expected. A tactical/ 'isometric' style game would be better as a (party based) spin off/ alternative because it implies a different gameplay experience. I actually liked the mix of first person and 3rd. Was nice for combat, as 3rd person was easier for melee and first person was better for guns.- Should the UK leave the EU?
Haven't finished it yet, but interesting so far.- What You Did Today
Wife has had 4 family members die in the last 2 months. Grandmother, Two grandfathers and an aunt. One of the grandfathers was the only family member of hers that I knew and liked. Her dad died just before Christmas, and her mom died 4 years ago around the same time. She's powering through, but its been tough and she can barely function while I'm home as she knows she doesn't have to hold it together while I'm here. On the bright side, one of the grandfathers left her with half of his estate, and he has a couple of acres up near Pemberton. She was told the land and house is worth around 500k, but looking at property in that area I would guess more like 200k, either way thats going to help out a lot when all is said and done. Going to pay off all our debts, put some away for the kid's education and such, and get a bunch of new furniture. Should have a bunch left over to invest for retirement too, so that will be nice.- WarCraft movie is getting slaughtered by critics
Jeremy Irons Alfred is the best Alfred.- European Refugee Crisis : Part 2
Leaving means they don't have to abide by EU regulations on developing their resources, which could mean more growth in some industries. Leaving the Euro and adopting their own currency means if its value goes down, exports become cheaper and export industries see growth, if the currency rises, imports become cheaper, etc. Leaving the EU isn't going to be a huge disaster for anyone but the EU. Especially if they can control their borders and don't have to bring in millions of illiterate low IQ 3rd world immigrants that do nothing but cause the welfare state to collapse and destroy social cohesion.- Defining Social Justice Warrior
Like full service gas stations. Those jobs exist to give people jobs, not because they fill any sort of need.- US Election 2016, part II

I like how the French president praised Austrians for rejecting the far right. He got 49.7% of the vote. A 0.6% loss is hardly a rejection.- The culture of Rape, Bill Cosby Story
