See you're thinking of a dowdy wreck of a woman smoking while she looks at her children as if they are flies. I'm thinking of sultry unattainable women smoking like each inward breathe is ...well... freudian. Women on the edge of something, whether it be realisation, or immolation. But mainly I'm thinking of women who aren't neurotically obsessed with their health. I hate smoking in every shape or form. It's disgusting. You'd approach that nice looking woman and then when she breathes, you'd be like: Aww sh**, smells disgusting, I need to vomit!1one I can say with absolute certainty that this is incorrect. I can say with absolute certainty that I know what I'm talking about.

According to Steam, there will be.

Yakuza 5 getting localized. Suikoden 2 getting a PSN release. Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacles. Tearaway Unfolded, Persona 5, Bloodborne. PlayStation Experience was good.

The Banner Saga 2 announced at the VGA awards. Best announcement in my opinion.

I want something like this, only, I will use it on everyone that decides not to obey me.

Been playing the online part most of the day. It's really pointless but I didn't feel like playing the single player campaign in my state. Leveled up my archer to level 15 and Keeper to level 8. Still haven't unlocked any class. If anyone would be interested in some online play, you could PM me your PlayStation username.

Doctors still don't know what's wrong with me. All tests so far have been positive (as in negative for anything serious). Going to the doctor again on Monday. They'll probably have to dig deeper, ugh. Going to ask the for some cybernetic enhancements while I am at it.

Where did you order from? WoW HD. That way I get the game cheaper than here in Sweden. I've used them before, but they were out of stock quickly this time and didn't send it until November 25th. I wasn't really in a hurry to play it, so I can live with it.

Wait, you don't have a food taster? How naive! They're already dead but I didn't make the connection. Liverpool winning two games in a row. Miracles do happen. We were still poor and they still gave me several heartaches.

That's what happens when you back Liverpool. Hope it's nothing serious. Liverpool will be the death of me. Best case scenario, this is an infection and I'll get some medicine. What I really think: Someone is trying to poison the patriarch of all patriarchs.

Going to the doctor tomorrow because I have had some health issues.. I'm expecting to hear some bad things, but I am one of the biggest pessimists in the world.

Finally the game arrived. I will either play as a K-E or Reaver. Normal difficulty for me.

Guardians of the Galaxy. It was fun but there was no really intense story moments that made me go "holy ****"! I liked Peter Quill, Rocket and Groot. Everyone else was forgettable, including the easily defeated villain. Drax and Gamora didn't get any real character development.

Played a bit of Wild Arms 2. Some decent progress. Two main story bosses defeated. Might play a bit more after the football is over.

Carry Weight?
Labadal replied to Dark_Ansem's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Nope. I haven't seen that it impacts it in any way. -
The way they are set up now, I don't even care about them. I wanted to get a high lore skill for my PC but I didn't care for the talents connected with lore. In the end, I just went with the talents that would benefit the playstyle I wanted for het in combat. What was wrong with how NCS worked before? It was at least better than this current system. I actually dislike it a lot. What say you, backers?

The attributes in PoE have as much impact as the IE games (imo). Alpha Protocol went through three big phases of changing stuff, if I remember correctly. SEGA changed their minds on combat and it was overhauled. I also think the general tone of the game and especially the main character were changed. In the end, I hope that you (and me) will enjoy the end product that will be Pillars of Eternity. That's basically all I have left to say on this matter.

Just to be clear, I didn't mean the retail/release prices, I meant how which games are decided to be up for sale, during these mass sales or any sale. Does Steam send out blanket "sale promotion, do you want to be on it" letters that devs/publishers can opt in/out of etc.? Because sometimes I see sales on games that feel like odd choices for devs/publishers to want to have on sale. I mean, I get that sometimes cheap prices=enough extra short term sales to make more and that's the incentive, but dunno...just feels odd at times. It's all up to the publishers, and STEAM decides which games will make the front page of the store. Daily deals, I'm not entirely sure how they happen. Probably STEAM communicates with publishers.

That's a fair point, that we've been kept in the loop and gotten to see the beta before any changes happened, and so on. It's reasonable to say that. And I'm not going to publish something I was sent in PM, because I'm not a complete bastard. But if you look at the changes that have been made, and what they actually are - as in making skills into talents, allowing you to "pick" something every level. Or when it comes to actually normalizing every combat stat, so that nothing you do on the character creation screen matters in the slightest (that's a pretty serious change, yes?). Or when it comes to removing engagement mechanics, simplifying the threat rolls, lowering defense/DT as a dynamic, lowering speed, etc. Put all of those together, and there is a tendency here that is difficult not to spot. Where the theme is: "forgiving", "handholding", and "automatic". And these specific things turned up after Josh declared that a late 2014 release date was pretty much a certainty. He said that if anything, the extra funding the kickstarter brought in had increased the development time for the game. That if they got a sum nearer to what they expected, the game would have released already. Which at this point I think might have been for the better. So no, I don't really accept the idea that all other Obsidian games actually went through the blender in this way, right before release. I mean, do you really think that any publisher are keen on throwing out fundamental designs late in the process? These are things you'd better have finalized by the time development begins. I mean, I know a few publisher spawn folks who would have stalled at the idea of releasing a game with a ruleset like what PoE had at the start of the beta. They'd have objected to that from the beginning, before the development would start. But making significant changes to the game late in the process, without even mapping clearly what the changes would affect - that is an amateur problem. It's something that isn't done when people know how it might complicate the development later. They've held internal play weeks. It seems the developers have come to many conclusions that a lot of people on these boards already have. Attributes were also more meaningless than they are now. You can actually get negative bonuses if you decide to lower your attribute below 10. The bonus percentages have also been slightly increased. The beta was never properly balanced at release and it still isn't. We'll see several iterations of the attribute and talent systems before they are completely locked. I for one, am happy with the changes that have been made so far and think the game is better for it. This is an opinion of mine, so it means that I disagree with yours. (I would have agreed with you if I felt the game played worse now than it did when the beta released.) Alpha Protocol.

They'll be fixed before release. We still have "missing strings" when the game runs in English.

Yes, developers set their own prices just like they do on the PlayStation Store. I've hear a lot of people recommend The Long Dark to each other but it's not my kind of game.
