  1. I'd already seen most of the those areas from my snooping (albeit from very far out). I know, lol. I read most of your post on here and the codex, but don't you want to go into the game fairly fresh? I know you're doing modding and such, but I think you might have spoiled a lot for yourself? Even I have read a spoiler or two you have posted (out of curiosity).
  2. Yes, Darren. Yes! Paradox and Obsidian have also announced that this week they plan to reveal a wide array of never-before-seen game content via a live stream, hosted by Josh Sawyer, Project Director for Pillars of Eternity, alongside popular gaming personality Jesse Cox. The live stream will air Thursday, November 13 at 1pm PST (22.00 CET) on the official Paradox Interactive Twitch channel: www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive
  3. Watched the trailer a third time and the environments look gorgeous. Also: PEGI 16.
  4. I also have set my plans for New Years Eve. Will be at a party. There's going to be great food, drinks and they hired some DJ that I don't remember the name of. Now that that's set, I can stop thinking about that for now. Issue now is what to buy people for Christmas. I lack imagination. We mostly don't gift each other stuff and just hang out instead, but I wanted to shake things up a little.
  5. Only way I see it coming back is another game similar to Dungeon Siege III or a crowd funded spiritual successor. (I personally think the series might be dead.)
  6. I think Justin Bell has a preference for laid back mixing. I said that the music so far lacks the foreground melody of the Infinity Engine games and he said that's not how he's doing it (unfortunately too imo). Definitely sound smore like TES Jeremy Soule than IWD Jeremy Soule. Yep. I've been reading all those discussion threads. In the end, I can live with the TES style. Or rather: That's the only option I have if I don't want to mute the music (and I don't). Playing Age of Wonders now and the soundtrack is awesome. Sure, it will repeat about a thousand times before I finish the campaign but I fekken love it.
  7. Very impressive, how much weight have you lost ? I've lost, uh...lost? Replace lost with gained and I might be able to answer your question! That's strange, it sounds like you are eating very healthily....and weight loss is 70-80 % diet? I'm not really dieting, though. Just left out some unhealthy crap but at the same time, usually during this time of year, I gain about 2-3 kg because I don't really get a lot of movement. I rarely go outside if I don't have something planned. So far, I haven't gained those 2-3 kgs, so that's a plus. I also only eat two times a day (for the past 4 months), and that's probably not the best thing to do, but what the hey, it feels good so far.
  8. It has been reworked if my ears and imagination are not deceiving me. I still wish the music would be more foreground focused. I don't mind listening to music that "falls" back to the background and is less "intrusive" (don't know the right word), but it was not the kind of music I was hoping for in Pillars. I'm playing BGII: SoA every now and then and every time I enter one of the districts, I'm actually hymning with the melody. The Banner Saga made the experience with the game even greater. Final Fantasy VI withs it's superb soundtrack, I know every track inside and out. The Pillars soundtrack reminds me more of TES games in that regard. It isn't the end of the world. If we get more ambient music in the wilderness, I at least hope for some tunes that in a few years will be immediately recognizable to me as music is an important aspect to me.
  9. Very impressive, how much weight have you lost ? I've lost, uh...lost? Replace lost with gained and I might be able to answer your question!
  10. Song starts out great but feels a bit busy at times. other than that, trailer made me excited. Gameplay still needs fixing but my hopes for a big story was the number one hope for me. Choices that matters is what will keep me coming back. Also, I have seen people who backed the game,on other forums asking when we can choose the type of key we will get. Another thing, I hope the pre-order bonuses are cosmetic only. I'm saying this as someone who will get them.
  11. Day #10 of not eating any sweets, pastries and so on. Also only drinking water and milk. Urge to lose the challenge rising. I will not lose, I must not lose.
  12. Reading about performance issues makes me 0% interested in the game. Prior to reading that, I had a 5% interest in the game.
  13. I stuck to the regular edition. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Age:_Inquisition_Deluxe_Edition
  14. Amazing Spider-man 2. Lots of melodrama but some nice effects going on in the fights.
  15. You bagged a cougar? Congratulations, the best I can do is a 30 year old.i was just getting hit on by somebody who had a 37yo daughter. And who was a grandmother. I've never sobered up this fast in my life. Sexual harassment is a disgusting thing.
  16. Yet another victim of the oppression from women. #FreeGD
  17. I'd repurchase Valkyrie Profile. I might repurchase Valkyria Chronicles at some point in the future.
  18. looks awfully similar to Bastion... yeah, I think I'd prefer to see HBS continue making Shadowrun games, perfecting the formula Luckily, they have job postings for another Shadowrun campaign.
  19. I defeated him a few days ago. Had to try the fight twice before taking him down. Never managed to kill any of the BG2 dragons in one strike.
  20. Last time I took a side it didn't matter.
  21. Yeah you right, it can't be pleasant ? I'll admit, it's actually nice with snow a lot of the days. The problem is when you have 20 cm of snow and the wind is blowing like hell is going to break loose and you can't do anything but sigh and move on. It's very pretty, with everything being white. Getting home from work and just relaxing at home feels even better after a hard days work. As Rosbjerg said, it's mostly about how long it lasts and that some days can be really bad. Christmas without snow is weird. We had that a few years ago and it didn't feel right. I do admit that living in Hawaii would not be bad, not bad at all. Maybe I'd even live in St. Petersburg as I've heard that there is a lot more investing going on there and crime rates are declining. Brucie: My parents are Assyrian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assyrian_people
  22. Would you prefer living in a country with no snow, like South Africa? We have this probably naïve view of how much fun it would be living in a country with snow I can live with the snow. I have done so for 28 years. It's just that I don't like skiing, skating or any other activity involving snow or ice. I have very dry skin so I get rashes very easily and I easily catch a cold. It's how long it is going to stay like this that is depressing. We're looking at another 4-5 month of snow. It's dark when you wake up and dark when you come home from work. Not a very motivating time to be alive. (Last sentence is a joke.) Ros: I did immigrate but I was one year when we came to Sweden.
  23. It was stated from the start that it would be cosmetic and I hope it stays that way.
  24. Winter is here. I've taken out my boots and winter jacket from the depths of my closet. Woke up and everything was white. Now, my depression truly starts.
