What
Probably someone who doesn't spend all their time on gaming forums with crotchety old folk

What are you playing now
Did you talk in tropes all the time? Did it become super annoying?

Torchlight
But Diablo 3 will be cartoony as well. You are obviously biased, Tale.

What
I'm trying to solve the problem one poster at a time, don't be so touchy. If people stop replying to obvious trolling maybe the trolls will get bored.
-
What
It's hard to ignore multiple threads with many pages of everyone arguing with him. I'm perfectly used to just ignoring him.
-
What
I find reading similar arguments over and over quite tiresome. Can we just not feed the troll?
-
What
And it also forces you to reply to him every time?

The Assassin's dual claw block worked for spells. The other things are easily adjustable. While I don't like the more active style of console arpgs I don't see how else DS3 would work, being a multiplatform game and all.

This week we have a double feature of Deathspank and Limbo.

What
You've been explicitly told that the video's contents aren't about the video game industry dying. You're just plugging your ears and screaming at this point. That's a fact. Maybe if you just ignored him...

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!, just a dumping ground
The graphics race is far from over, we're just shifting from a a technical battle to a much cooler battle of art direction and polishing up animations/whatnot. I don't really see Crytek trying to prove anything with Crysis 2, beyond the fact that Crysis can indeed run on consoles. I don' think they'll be doing anything particularly revolutionary for the FPS genre. Rage on the other hand...

Diablo 2 had automatic percentage-based blocking system. What's wrong with a system like that?

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!, just a dumping ground
I'm pretty sure most here don't give a damn about Crysis 2. I'm sure it'll be decent. The first Crysis really only got the attention it did, because of the supposed graphical awesomeness and the problems it caused. The game itself was average at best, with a few underutilized gimmicks.

No one is forcing you to kite the enemies, I don't see how blocking would be a better solution against a horde of enemies. Also, we don't know how the health system will work in DS3 or DIII, for that matter.

That wouldn't be very RPG-y now would it? Does any loot-based arpg actually have a player controlled blocking/dodging mechanic?
-
What
It's pretty obvious that there isn't one single cause to the shift in marketshare. Also, PC gaming is changing, spreading out in many different experimental directions. The AAA titles are mainly the console's territory now, but that isn't the be all and end all of gaming any more, not even from a financial perspective.

What
I'm not even saying you're wrong, but please post an actual link to the source when quoting any kind of numbers, thanks.

What
Steam and DD happened. Also, would be nice if you actually posted some sources for all your "facts".

Inception
The (pseudoscientific) premise is that we're only using a small amount of our "brain power" when awake.

Gravity Bone is also a nice story-driven indie game. (scroll down a bit on the page)
