Meanwhile in London: Beheading in broad daylight
I assume he means that despite the perception that Putin makes sense the reality is most of us wouldn't want to live in Russia. So good advice from any president is moot if the country he governs has serious social and political problems. And I agree with this, Putin should strive to make Russia more like Western countries as far as his social responsibilities are concerned.

What you having for dinner tonight?
Last week I was researching some medieval recipes. There are several websites that cover them that go back to the 14th century. Keep us updated around what you found how the meals worked out

Even though I support the principle of nuking China back to the stone-age I don't think you guys are thinking about all the consequences Where will we get all our cheap noodles and Soy sauce from if China becomes Fallout 3?

What you having for dinner tonight?
As I've mentioned before I consider myself a hardcore Turophile. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/turophile I have several cheese cooking books and I've generally got 3-4 different cheeses in my fridge. I am always interested how certain cheeses can be used to compliment certain food types and how some cheeses just take better cooked

Nelson Mandela, dead at 95
There is a vast difference between Mugabe and Zuma. Mugabe is a dictator who has cheated in the last 4 elections to ensure he has stayed in power. He has also eroded almost all independent institutions that can challenge him on any internal law he wants to pass and he has effectively destroyed the Zim economy. He will be remembered as one of Africa's worst leaders IMO. But the fact that he has been able to stay in power is an indictment of the AU and one of its failures Zuma is democratically elected and absolutely respects the influence of systems like the Constitutional court. He believes in the principles of Capitalism and has made no real radical changes to effect the economy in a good or bad way. That can argued is a problem as tries to appeal to all groups but he is not decisive enough so he doesn't address economic hurdles, like the Trade Unions. IMO his biggest problem is he has bad advisors who keep letting him make public comments that actually embarrass his office and his presidency Now as far as Cultist is concerned. He seems to be the antithesis of what I believe and stand for around social issues. I mean the guy thinks Homosexuality is a mental disorder and probably thinks gays should be rounded up and sent for electro shock therapy at some conversion hospital to fix them But for me its important to get the opinions of all people around topics that pertain to social justice. How do you know what some of the opinions that are different to yours are if you never hear the flawed logic? So I wouldn't want him banned or not speaking his mind because I like to hear what people think. He reminds me of Oby in this way But it is a pity he couldn't elaborate around his comments that Mandela destroyed the country. I think we all know the real reason for his reticence. He is aware he is wrong and won't find any evidence to support his opinion. The reality is you could argue this with Zuma or the president before him, Thabo Mbeki,( which I would dispute) but the decisions that Mandela made were necessary at the time to ensure a transition to a peaceful Democracy in South Africa

Well I hope I can change that perspective that not all white south Africans are that bad I'm sure they weren't representative though, I should warn you, there's a song. A song? There are basically two types of South Africans who chose to immigrate. One group when apartheid ended believed that a black government could never run a country and didn't want to be part of rebuilding of the country. The other group immigrated because they felt unsafe in the new South Africa and wanted to live in a country where there was better security because we do have a relatively high crime rate. I guarantee you that you met the former group, they would have complained a lot and been very racist and derogatory.

So basically you are objecting to the purpose and reason that we have forums? Because a forum exists for discussion and debate. Cultist you won't be wasting anyone's time, I'm sure many people are keen to get your insight in this matter. And if you are correct I will acknowledge it.

I am not here to educate you with walls of text or graphs. I stated my opinion. I thought that would your response. I get it though, its difficult to make a point when you don't know the facts

Cultist I know you'll battle with this concept but some jokes are just not appropriate. Not that I'm saying I agree with him, because I believe Mandela's later work far outweighs the methods he used in his early life, but one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. Yes you can argue that he was a terrorist in the same way that the French resistance were terrorists when they opposed the Nazi's as the Nazi's were the "rulers" of France for a time. But no-one takes that seriously as Mandela fought against an inhuman and draconian government that believed in a system that was based on racial discrimination

Well you should tell him to research the financial crisis that started in 2008, that was the closest the world came to real global crash. And it was obvious to all that the impending results was something that no-one and no country wanted or would have benefitted from. That's not true. There are always people that make a ton of money from an economic crash. Not a global crash, because every trading index and every economy would be effected.

Oh, i am not joking. He is a man who have done everything for ruination of his country. He succeeded. Maybe you can remind me what he has done that has ruined South Africa?

Yeah that's true, there is a sense of job entitlement in South Africa and lack of attitude to do hard work. Certain people want the nice car and huge house but don't seem to understand the principle of working your way up. This only applies to certain people. The circles that I move in across the racial spectrum do understand the process to achieve financial success is not given to you but normally achieved on your own through diligence, effort and perseverance

Backer site
The backer website (teased in update #66 Double Whammy) is rumored to include a gameplay video and new information on the game, which is the main reason people are looking forward to it, I think. For example, looking at the teaser screenshots in that update you can see that the game is referred to as Pillars of Eternity. Personally, I want to upgrade my pledge, as well, and want to finally scratch that off the to-do list. Edit: My assumption is that anyone can access the website and even become a slacker backer. I agree with you on open forums and don't see why they'd make new ones for the new website. They could just link here, right? Gameplay video. Chris Avellone revealed that they had a gameplay video coming with the backer site in his MIGS presenation and in Update 67 there is 37.0 (man weeks?) worth of work on a "Press Demo" in Production Milestone 3 which is either the current or just previously past milestone. I'd say there would be a bit of schedule rubber banding atm as by my calculations they should be a week into Production Milestone 4. It is possible they have chosen to continue Production Milestone 3 until the end of the year (thus making it a bit longer than 6 weeks) and that would make sense because they are after all currently working on the Mega Dungeon, with Twin Elms slated for Production Milestone 4. Okay thanks, so its primarily the gameplay video people are after. Makes sense.
