Everyone says that about sanctions in the beginning and I'm not surprised this is Putins stance. He is still very popular and feels somehow it his duty to the homeland. Also the level of sanctions are relatively minor But as time goes on and things become harder he will change...they all change. The days of countries like Russia fighting interminable wars where you not suppose to be involved are basically over. The situation in eastern Ukraine for Russia can never be won militarily, he would have to invade western Ukraine to ensure capitulation and that would mean Russia involvement would be obvious. If he doesn't defeat the Ukrainian government militarily they will constantly be involved in fighting the separatists which means constant involvement by Russia. Putin was probably told this would be same as Georgia, over in a few months but Ukraine is different. The West is firmly behind Ukraine in this case and will provide aid so that the Ukrainian government can continue to confront the separatists I feel the only viable solution to end the conflict for both sides is a diplomatic one

This case was different, the Pakistani men only abused and groomed white, British girls..no Asians So it was particularly appalling as here were these men basically practicing egregious sexual abuse and not thinking it was that bad because the girls they used weren't Muslim and therefore didn't need any kind of respect Just about no one who practices egregious sexual abuse thinks it's bad or has any real respect for their victim. Not having real respect for your victim is generally a prerequisite for abusing them, in any manner. The color of skin or the religion, of the perpetrator or victim, does not make it any less or more evil. Sure, all abuse is bad and abhorrent but you do get different degrees and methods of abuse and some are worse than others And the link to them being Pakistani is relevant because it leads towards the issue of them not being assimilated properly into UK culture

My advice is go to a strip club, those places are always friendly over Valentines day I've never been to one; doesn't seem my style. The whole experience seems unpleasant TBH. I go in, they show off their bodies, then I leave sexually frustrated. Oh, and I have to pay money for that. No thanks. Same as me as I'm also single and I can promise you I am not depressed or lonely. But I am fortunate enough to have a busy social calendar, I am constantly seeing friends and going out I do want a girlfriend but I can't compromise on certain things
