No it doesn't ...but remember the importance of power naps, you only need 10-20 minutes

So the limerick is finally back if you want it ...well that is significant and should change your gaming experience by exactly.......I'm not sure how this changes your gaming experience ? Now before someone says " how does it change your gaming experience by having it in the game " It doesn't but its an issue because of what it represents so for me removing it is more about the principle And that issue is about homophobia The limerick isn't homophobic. Would it be misogynistic if it were about waking up next to an ugly fat woman instead of a transvestite? Are you asking if the limerick was about a guy who kills himself because he had sex with a fat old women would I find it controversial? Yes I would..of course. But it wouldn't be misogynistic, I would say its an issue of ageism...but overall I would just find it crass and childish http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/ageism?showCookiePolicy=true The ****in limerick wasn't meant to be taken literal, but all the gung-ho queers have certainly taken it that way and have in effect censored a backers words. Furthermore none of you even care about it, you're just glad you get to stick it to the straight guys again, because you can't get them to "Stick it" to you. You got it buddy, anytime I get to undermine straight guys I do it...you have exposed the great homosexual grand plan The level of the maturity and logic of your posts is deteriorating at an alarming rate, you sound almost hysterical. My advice is take a break from this discussion for a while, you are not thinking clearly

Oh yeah, I can't wait. I am very excited about this game I'll be getting it in the next week or so when I get home so I'll update this thread respectively once I start playing it

I mean the need to address the outrage that was on Facebook and Twitter I don't mean people on these forums didn't have an opinion either way but the reality is there are much more people who don't even frequent these forums that Obsidian also has to be concerned about. And of course there are gaming websites that can influence the perception of Obsidian which is probably why Feargus Urquhart had the interview with Polygon to get a message across. It makes sense if you think about the big picture outside these forums?

Geez KP...thats less than Malc. How do you feel during the day on that much sleep ?
-
Wowzers...not enough if its consistently that much I imagine How do you feel during the day on that much sleep ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_nap I have to give this link that 2133 posted the much respected BruceVC " guys this this an excellent link..everyone should read it " comment Its succinct but address many questions I have been pondering about sleep
-
Good point about power naps, I meant to add that. I can easily have a 20 minute power nap and I feel great which raises another question...why physiologically does such a little amount of sleep make you feel so good? Edit : Oh wait, I see you posted an interesting link around this
-
For those interested LK is referring to this link http://www.polygon.com/2015/4/10/8383627/pillars-of-eternity-transphobic-kickstarter-hate-feargus-urquhart I imagine Obsidian didn't consult the forum community because to be fair it has nothing really to do with us, this was about addressing a backlash that was more prevalent outside this community and Polygon is a good medium to do this and give an explanation as they are respected in many SJ circles. People do read and absorb what they say on certain levels. For example I often read articles on Polygon, they can be a little "SJ hardcore " but I still think they do more good than bad

Its interesting but all out sleep patterns seem similar, 6-7 hours Yet have you noticed that when people reach a certain age, older than 65 they just seem to need less sleep...I know from that radio talk show I listen there are large number of older people who are always awake at 4 am or so and phone in to comment about issues
-
I try very hard to not eat anything 1-2 hours before I go sleep which is quite easy to do as I normally eat dinner at about 7 pm and I am normally go to sleep at 11-12 pm. But I am really lucky, before I go to sleep I normally read for about 20 minutes and I fall asleep within 5 minutes So going back to your food question I find eating too much food before I sleep makes me tired but my sleep is more restless and of course it depends on what I eat...if I am gorging on high-sugar food then I am more restless What seems to keep me awake the most is mental restlessness...so if I am thinking too much about something. I find I just don't seem to be tired or need to sleep. So when I am working like this weekend I get on this weird natural high.
-
That's interesting, I also find with my cardio training I probably need 7 hours to make me train effectively Also I find I sleep much better after training at gym. And you have raised another relevant point, why does oversleeping make you feel more tired during the day? So if I sleep lets say 8 hours I am perfectly functional at work and gym but I find I am just more tired during the day. Yet 6-7 hours and I feel fine
-
Sup All This weekend with all the work I have been doing I had 4 hours sleep on Friday night and then 2 hours on Saturday and about 2 hours during the day today. And I feel fine. but I am not advocating a person should have only 4-5 hours sleep a night as I don't think its sustainable but I know there are nocturnal beasts on these forums who probably only sleep that much every night My ideal amount of sleep is probably 6-7 hours a night, I know some people who claim they cannot function without 8-10 hours a night so my question is how much sleep do you have a night and what is your optimal amount of sleep. If you battle with insomnia what is the reason ?

Mungri can I ask you a question? As a gay man how do you feel about some of these comments on this thread? Do you find comments like " homosexuality is not natural " annoying? Offensive? Or do you just not care. My gay friends seem to care less about gay rights than I do, they say things like " you will never change some peoples minds so why bother ". But I refuse to accept that. I don't need to change peoples minds, I just want to let people that homophobia is not acceptable I'm pretty much desensitised to such stuff after my father told me that he would have had me aborted if he knew I was going to turn out gay. Yeah some of my friends have similar stories, not all of them but some. Living in South Africa we have a very liberal constitution that protects your sexual orientation in society but that doesn't stop all homophobic comments and of course nothing can stop what people and family say and act on a personal level One of my friends told his mom at the age of 20 he was gay and she didn't speak to him for 3 years because her boyfriend was homophobic. They get on very well now but when he told me the story he didn't even seem angry with her....I was thinking " how can your mom chose some random guy over her own son...and how can you not be angry and disappointed with her " ... but I never said those things to him because I didn't want to make him feel worse about his moms behavior I know you aren't looking for sympathy and I'm sure we will now hear comments like " oh so now only gay people have a monopoly on there parents treating them badly..my parents did this to me and my parents did that " but the reality is most straight people have never had to deal with the emotional and verbal abuse and hurt that many gay people have to deal with including the incredibly insensitive and appalling comments that your were subjected to by your dad ...anyway thanks for sharing

Take your patronising bs and shove it. If the bigots hadn't shown up in force I would never have touched any social issues, but I guess you think bigotry should pass without remark. Again, you're slashing people who have a right to their opinion. In all reality, you're the true "Politically Correct" Bigot. You're a tool, or a mouth piece for the "Soft core Communist" propaganda machine. Come one lets try to be reasonable, I known these discussions get personal and people tend to get vituperative but Serdan is definitely not a bigot ...its obvious he is the complete opposite and has been defending gay rights I also tend to get annoyed with people in some debates and say things I don't mean so I'm not acting better than anyone and more mature...I have been there and do exactly the same thing. It doesn't make it right though

I was waiting for you to engage in such useless pedantry. What you fail to comprehend is that this isn't just some academic discussion or a few people being "hypersensitive". Real people are being harmed by bigotry, so when I see someone perpetuate such bigotry I will call them out on it. Your insistence that doing so is somehow wrong unless I can prove with absolute certainty that they actually engage in bigotry is utter bs. As I have already stated, my prior for Sriker being genuine can be found somewhere in the region of the asthenosphere. If Striker convinced me otherwise I would apologize, but I'm not holding my breath. a lot of people on the social justice side do this with fetishes they do not tolerate. Like pedophilia. Something you can not do anything about it as well. Its your sexual orientation and it should not be a crime unless people get hurt by it. Thats the biggest exampleIf I see someone do that I'll call them a bigot too, so that's not much of a counterexample. Do you think my reaction was unreasonable? If so, why?According to my experience it is a very strong predictor of bigotry when someone refers to people as unnatural. Do you have any meaningful answers to this? How convenient.Do you deny that calling homosexuals, or intimacy between homosexuals, unnatural is rhetoric used by people who are actively engaged in abridging the rights of homosexuals? Wow. You're part of the problem. I didn't hurt anyone, all I said is two men having sex is not what nature intended, seeing as how that does not reproduce. I guess we all need a little biology refresher. A man's **** is inserted in a woman's vagina (which feels great by the way) and then he will ejaculate **** filled with sperm to fertilize her eggs up in the ovaries. This will then begin the process of growning a fetus to reproduce the spieces. One man, and one woman are required. And it's awesome and beautiful. Two men... Doing whatever, will not result in reproduction, and I find it very unnattactive and unpleasant. Wich is my right. But as stated above, I could care less. I don't tell people what to do with their junk. Dude seriously, I'm not sure what the relevance of saying "nature didn't intend us to be gay " Its irrelevant to the discussion considering all the things mankind has done and learnt outside of how nature functions For me the only time someone would say that is if they are using it as form of homophobia ...so maybe just be honest and say " I have a problem with gay people " then we can unpack your train of thought further

I see that I chose(!) to stick to it damn it :D SJW talk is a waste of time, allready made my point about that Nah, its only a waste of time if you don't care about it

My friend I'm sure everyone appreciates your insight but haven't you realized this thread isn't really about journalism ( well maybe it once use to be )...its the eternal battleground on these forums where we debate issues of SJ ...and we love it despite the heated exchanges I stick with the topic, feel free to do otherwise. Heh, welcome to the WOT section. We don't limit ourselves to bourgeoisie concepts like thread titles. Down with conventions! " bourgeoisie concepts like thread titles "
