  1. Weekend time is cooked English breakfast time and one my favorite weekend pastimes Today Im have fried eggs, friend banana, tomato, chicken livers and toast
  2. Where do all the hot Viking women hang around, thats where you want to end up....forget the cold
  3. Geez Gorthfuscious I am not sure your Viking ancestors who waged war and defeated much of the civilized world and discovered North America would have said " I cant invade the UK today fellow Vikings ...the water is too cold " You definitely not getting a seat at the eternal Valhalla feasting table with that attitude
  4. But thats what I mean when I say he sometimes gets unfair criticism from many Americans. The inflation is caused primarily by the end of global lockdowns and supply chain issues and demand where their are limited goods available You cant blame Biden for the virus and its global consequences like the rise of inflation globally Putins War just made inflation worse but its not the main reason
  5. Mamie its very rare I am genuinely amazed or impressed by what I read on most forums, Im not cynical or negative about life and peoples comments its just I am generally use to how we all engage and what we think But this post of yours is an example of how that doesnt always apply. What an amazing offer from you and your wife, I know most of us cant do this type of act of humanity because their are real issues like free space in our homes and costs Where is the refugee from, what age and have they spoken to you about how they left Ukraine? Any details you can share would be appreciated?
  6. Yes thats very true, the Russian people have never experienced the benefits of Democracy or seen how Capitalism can drive your economy in a positive way with regulations and labor laws They went from the absolute corrupt monarchy of Tzar Nicholas to the failed system of Communism to the mismanagement and excess of Yeltsin and the Oligarchs They have never experienced how both Democracy and Capitalism can and do work
  7. That is a good read, it highlights what a deranged and irrational warmonger Putin is ...not that we didnt know this but its well articulated And I like the quote below I am sure Putin is informed about the state of the economy, for example. This is now a total disaster, but Putin is convinced that it is possible to adapt. There was this picture of a meeting with Elivra Nabiullina, the head of the Russian Central Bank, and other economic advisors, they have got their heads in their hands, and it is obvious that he is telling them: Well, it is what it is, and you guys have to figure it out and adapt.
  8. I have been mentioning of a GOP midterm victory for ages but Biden has done several things right and he gets unfairly criticized over things he has no control over. For example he needs to work with the GOP in the Senate and get the likes of Manchin to agree to some of his bills But I am also very happy with a GOP victory but not a Trump presidency. We dont want the current important geopolitical role and foundation the US plays to be upset or changed So for example the Russian sanctions must continue and so must the US support for NATO
  9. I can understand Macrons frustration, the French intelligence reports were inaccurate. To quote However, in early March Gen Burkhard acknowledged that French intelligence had not been up to the level of US or UK briefings, which were publicised to pile pressure on Russia's Vladimir Putin. "The Americans said that the Russians were going to attack, they were right," he told Le Monde newspaper. But I think its a little unfair because many countries got it wrong and believed Putin would never invade. So I think the real reason he is being fired is France's misreading of President Putin was all the more embarrassing because President Emmanuel Macron had spoken to him regularly in the days leading up to the invasion on 24 February. So I think Macron is understandably annoyed but I would still say his attempts to negotiate were worth it...you never know what could have happened But the truth is clear now, Putin is a liar and a warmonger and now we have the unity and resolve amongst Western countries and their allies to stop Putins unnecessary endeavors to create the old Soviet borders But in summary, its unfair he was fired because you are almost punishing someone for " believing negotiation may succeed " ? @Mamoulian War Where have you been the last couple of days, you have been quiet?
  10. Thats all true plus they export Nickle and wheat and other things . But we all realize we going to have higher commodity prices until Putins War is over
  11. Can you imagine the Russian\China new world and new " Democracy. While they not killing and arresting their citizens, bullying Australia, shutting down freedom of speech, reeducating Uyghurs Muslims and banning Ramadan , invading sovereign countries and doing everything to ensure the principles of Democracy are eroded in their countries and territories they are going to "create " a new and better world and lead by example ...so noble and magnanimous
  12. The UK, Germany and France has said they wont pay in Rubles so Putin will more than likely cut them off as was expected. Germany has admitted this will hurt them but they have said its worth it But its not going to change the sanctions or the damage done to the Russian economy
  13. Yes many of them are or can be, its up the individuals who engage in debates to debate in good faith. For example Pidesco asked me a question about what point was learnt about Trumps victory. I gave him my opinion which I can support through numerous links. So I would assume if he disagreed with me he would explain his reasons for why Trump won the election or something similar I would then read his links or reasons and see if they make sense, thats what I mean by constructive But we often have frivolous and light hearted debates or we are just sharing our opinions. So I am not suggesting every debate should or would be constructive
  14. The US shared intelligence is generally accurate. What people always tend to do is bring up Iraq and 2003 as the current reality of accuracy I remember in 2016 the US warned SA about an imminent attack from ISIS. Our intelligence services are badly trained and resourced and have no real idea of global threats so immediately their was this denialism from our foreign affairs and the " its Islamophobia " card was played A month after the US alerting us 4 South Africans were arrested with links to ISIS and plans to attack Jewish and American targets in SA https://face2faceafrica.com/article/us-warns-south-africa-terror-attacks-ramadanhttps://face2faceafrica.com/article/us-warns-south-africa-terror-attacks-ramadan https://allafrica.com/stories/202202090193.html
  15. I have never seen that before, I think thats for mods?
  16. This has been raised on several news channels, I find it hard to believe that an autocrat and ex-KGB like Putin would be so out of touch with the war effort Its possible but I am not convinced ?
  17. I made the mistake a few days ago of saying " Russia wants peace and will be reducing its military engagement " ...I actually did believe what Russia was saying @Chilloutman you were right, I was silly to believe that
  18. I get it, its much easier to be condescending in these types of debates than to be constructive
  19. Its working, I had to delete the Oblivion.ini in the Mygames folder Now I can reload my mods and embark on my adventure ...yaaaaaaaay
  20. Just when I think the Russian military strategy and approach cant get any lower I read these types of links and I realize...." it can get worse than I thought "
  21. So instead of making a dismissive post why dont you give me your opinion ....like people do in a debate ?
  22. @melkathi and @Wormerine You guys have seriously jinxed my Oblivion gaming experience ...you wont believe what I have been going through After confirming all my mods are active I went to Steam and started Oblivion for the first time...and after the options screen when you click " play " the game screen goes black and shuts down immediately. No errors I wasn't worried initially because I am an accomplished gaming troubleshooter so after some high level troubleshooting I decided to play safe and just disable all the Mods but still it failed to load I then removed Oblivion and downloaded it again, twice and it still wont start So I now have a Steam version of Oblivion that wont load with NO mods and a clean install So please drop the voodoo, Jedi mind tricks and let the game work Today I am going to troubleshoot this egregious and frustrating problem extensively, I will keep you updated
  23. Thats gaming heresy, no active and committed gamer can ever complain about a game " being too big " ....its just not scientifically possible
