  1. The anger and significance of the Russian bear on the Russian economy
  2. Im sorry for the loss, I have huge respect for anyone who is prepared to fight and die in defense of freedom in another country. It demonstrates bravery and his death wasnt a waste
  3. Im about 20 hours into SOD and Im loving it, there has been lots of negative views on this DLC so Im surprised how much Im enjoying it I have just reached the Boareskyr Bridge map and I dont want anyone to ruin the narrative for me about why its a bad expansion but this is what I like about it I like the way I had to recruit my old and new party members Dwarves of Dumathoin was an exciting and interesting quest, who doesnt like defeating liches It looks like I can Romance party members unlike BG1 I am enjoying the side quests like Isabella and Ikros, I killed them and saved the Vampire because it raised an interesting question around morality and the Vampire had ostensibly nothing wrong plus they had stolen one of the Halfling items so I question there own moral compass Caelar Argent is an interesting antagonist and she is clearly being manipulated and I am looking forward to understanding the overall narrative Finally I am enjoying seeing the Hooded Man\Jon Irenicus appearances so I can see how they trying to tie that into BG2 I will do a full update once I have completed SOD but so far its been a great experience
  4. There is a video circulating of Dugin at his daughters funeral, I decided not to post it, where he is pushing his normal propaganda and saying things like " her first words, which we taught her of course, were Russia, our empire , our mighty state...... " its really insensitive but why waste a good funeral when there is a grandstanding opportunity ?
  5. Its a very strange question to equate the ravages and loss of life caused by war with the amount of financial aid a country like the US has provided but end of the day the US can afford it and this is a proxy war to stop Putins Russian hegemony and militancy. It was inevitable if you look at Putins geopolitical decisions over the last 20 years So despite the economic cost to the US its much better to fund Ukraine than for US military to be directly involved especially when you consider the fact that the US didnt start this
  6. Thats a good video, it really raises how ridiculous the current FSB investigation is
  7. Im surprised you think this FSB "investigation " has any possible credibility or authenticity ? " Hope springs eternal in the human breast " I suppose
  8. Absolutely brilliant and hilarious, she has the best facial expressions. Her look when she said " we produce more varieties of cheese than the French " And " get back to work Amazon slaves "
  9. You make a good point about avoiding long Covid, I agree
  10. Same as me but I wont take a booster unless we see another wave, no one I know is taking one for the fourth time
  11. I think it looks promising and exciting, I dont really understand how it will be implemented? Do they mean you wont play the Tabletop game anymore but it will be a digital hybrid? Or do they mean it will be both ?And do DM create there own games in the digital version or are the modules preconfigured?
  12. https://news.yahoo.com/darya-dugina-killed-partisans-national-185407641.html Someone claiming responsibility This could also explain some of the internal sabotage attacks we have seen within Russia ?
  13. Shame the SA media really sometimes gets international things horribly wrong, I have just heard this " Dugin was the brains behind the Ukrainian invasion "
  14. Thats considered cheating, Im too hardcore to cheat
  15. I think the hyperbole and attributing Dugin to direct influence on Putin is unhelpful The article is also written by the Jewish Chronicle and they focus on anti-Semitism in Russia generally from the Soviet time but they raise parallels between Dugins rhetoric and Putins propaganda. Thats the influence I am referring to like the example below "Dugin’s buzzword, “Novorossiya”, meaning “new Russia”, was repeatedly used by Putin on national television in 2014 regarding the annexing of Crimea, resurrecting the Tsarist terminology of the Russian empire. Dugin envisages a “new world” centred around Russia, and Putin’s victorious press release about Ukraine was similarly titled the “offensive of Russia and the New World”. According to Ukraine’s Page News, its proud publication had been scheduled for two days after the Ukraine invasion. With efficiency typical of the Soviet era, somebody forgot to remove it from the automated timer function"
  16. But vaccines are taken to give you anti-bodies so you get less sick before you exposed . They not suppose to be taken when you already have the virus?
  17. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/ivermectin-doesnt-stop-covid-19-large-study-finds/ar-AAVIN7z Here is another link that highlights how Ivermectin had no real positive qualities to treat Covid And it was " legalized " in SA to treat Covid but that was due to public pressure from some but it made no difference
  18. Yes she was a known and vociferous propagandist and called for the genocide of Ukrainians In most countries being a propagandist doesnt mean you will get assassinated but this is Russia
  19. https://www.thejc.com/lets-talk/all/aleksandr-dugin-the-sinister-ideologue-whos-putins-favourite-philosopher-3829SiTsfS8P7UK19PwT4k For those interested in who Dugin is and not the handwaving of his influence on Putin from Zora Interesting read
  20. Yes, he was pro-Putin. He was one of the propaganda mouthpieces for Putins War The interesting point is was Putin behind it? I doubt it because they were close so this could be a major change in the internal stability of Russia. Could you ever imagine an assassination attempt within Russia of a Putin ally before Putins War?
  21. No thats not the point, in the world of Russian associated assassinations family members are often collateral damage or get killed Blame Putin for setting the precedent, dont get mad at me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Soviet_and_Russian_assassinations
  22. Not really, he is a propaganda mouthpiece of Putin. Comments like he calls for the " obliteration of Ukraine " and other things so he would be a legitimate target for anyone opposed to Putin or Putins War
  23. As we all know Putin has been assassinating and killing people who speak against him for years so this is just an example of one of the other sides doing the same thing. It was inevitable and doesnt surprise me in the least
