  1. As we all know Putin has been assassinating and killing people who speak against him for years so this is just an example of one of the other sides doing the same thing. It was inevitable and doesnt surprise me in the least
  2. Shady dont be one of " those " people, buy a Tesla if its the right car...dont let your personal views on Musk cloud commonsense
  3. Why what do you think will be the extrapolation from this truthful account from a Russian soldier?
  4. What !! I thought when you use to do your daily walks you did 18-20 miles/day ? But I agree, 18 miles/day is not my idea of a reasonable or achievable hike
  5. Yes, Im like you. I always play on normal and I have no issues with dropping any game to easy on certain encounters but only when something is really vexing me...and I always try for about 2-3 hours first
  6. My brother-in-law went for a 4 day hike in Czech in a place called the Sumava park that reaches into the Bavarian forest, it was 70 miles and they did about 18 miles/day. The scenery looks amazing
  7. The Wagner Group are nothing but barbaric and uncontrolled mercenaries who have no respect for human life or the Geneva Convention, I hope they suffer severely
  8. I completed BG1 last night, it was a great game and highly recommended and gets a solid 72/100 on the globally respected " BruceVC game rating system " But the final battle with Sarevok was almost impossible, I spent about 4-5 hours trying different strategies and combinations and I could only finally defeat him by dropping the difficulty to easy. Then I used my invisible mage to go to right of the screen and used AOE spells to weaken him, without drawing aggro, and his companions and then when they attacked me I used a combination of my 2x fighters has potions of cloud giant strength I used arrows of dispelling and biting I used potions of magic resistance I cant believe people defeated him on the harder difficulty but my party was level 6 and 7? What level were you on when you fought Sarevok and what strategy did you use in the final battle? I am now playing Siege of Dragonspear, I hear its not that good but I am going to play it anyway because it starts straight away and Im in a " BG " mood for gaming
  9. I got back to Cpt this week so the exciting " Saga of the Sword Coast " chronicles can continue I arrived in the iconic and bustling city of BG and loads of events occurred. What a city, lots of shops and side quests. Freeing nymphs from licentious wizards and helping Necromancers find bodies to name a few of the activities. I have also thwarted Saveroks diabolical plans to control BG, he fled into the maze under the Thieves Guild and I have reached the dungeon under the maze and I expect a final confrontation with my half-brother who I may spare after agreeing to do this with beautiful Tamoko I had the most difficult battle so far with 2 x Skeletal Warriors in the maze and I only succeeded by separating them, I had to swop Khalids weapon to a mace because only crushing damage was effective and magic was useless due to MR....very hard battle Further updates to follow
  10. Im 70 hours into BG:EE , I have reached BG and its great fun. Did you load mods like BG1 Quests, Romance and NPC project is a must because it adds dialogue from companion thats lacking
  11. It surprises me how many people I know would immediately say no to crocodile and yet its very tasty, the last time I had it was 2 years ago and it reminded me of chicken ?
  12. I agree, my friends didnt want to touch it. So I will try it next week and let you know
  13. You mustn't let exaggerated wokeness put you off Bioware games Hoonding, dont allow yourself to be manipulated by right wing rhetoric. Bioware games are great fun
  14. Gorthfuscious why do you hate freedom of speech, Democracies are built on it
  15. I know people who lost there sense of smell for 12 months and others who recovered it after 2-3 weeks. And then some who never lost it at all. What an insidious disease around symptoms
  16. You know you living in Africa when you can buy Crocodile Pate, I cant wait to try it
  17. Fair enough, I do think state sponsored killings from Mossad, CIA or the FSB are different than hiring a hitman who is independent. But you right, the end result is the same
  18. An overreaction and cowardly wanting to assassinate Bolton because he doesnt like the hardliners in Iran, do you know how many people dont like the current Iran regime and were happy Soleimani was killed ?
  19. https://www.woodandfire.co.za/ I went with friends to this restaurant on Monday night in Pretoria. It was one of the best steak houses I have ever been to, the starters and mains were amazing and the red wine was flowing. I had Ox tongue for my starter which is photo 3 and then I had a BBQ game for my main which is photo 2. What a dining experience
  20. The US needs to declare AI a terrorist organization and the people involved in the false and biased report arrested immediately, problem solved
  21. You make a good point about Iraq but the wars are very different. As you know there were external sectarian groups killing each other, Iraq Sunni vs Iraq Shia and foreign fighters involved. Not everyone was just trying to kill US and its allies like the UK Putins War is much simpler, its about Russia vs Ukraine and the war crimes committed are almost always committed by Russian soldiers. The Ukrainians arent going to rape and kill there own civilians because its not Iraq
  22. Gorthfuscious please tell me you not saying what I think you saying, if the hotties have been banned then the Oz government is WORSE than Russia Juice Media forever
  23. But many Russians dont trust there leaders and you can see this from the decline in voting numbers in Russia. Citizens give up on things like voting where a state starts sliding into autocracy and you cant influence any political change. Its always a good sign of lack of belief in leadership The US for example has always had about 45% of US citizens who never vote or arent registered. But if you look at the 2020 US elections more people voted than ever before so despite the left vs right culture wars rhetoric the people in the US that do vote did vote. So you see how voting turnout is a example of citizens who still believe you can see political change and do believe in there governments I know several Russians on Codex who dislike Putin and dont trust him at all but they live in Russia and they know there is nothing they can do to change the autocratic nature of the country. Putin definitely has his supporters in Russia and I would argue before the invasion of Ukraine it was probably 55-60% of the population but now it will be less. But end of the day we wont get accurate data from the country anyway so we only hear what Putin wants us to hear and what the state controlled media reports on
  24. Do you consider Oz an example of a totalitarian\autocratic state similar to Russia or China because of Murdoch media ?
