Fallout: New Vegas
yes I don't see why would people use VATS since sneak attacking from great distances one-shotting everybody and everything is so much more fun. especially with Boon's perk.

Fallout: Las Vegas Survivors' Journal
so, what do I do with the Nightkin in Novac? he doesn't seem to notice me. or should I wait for him to kill all the brahmin?

do you mean Oliver, who won the "mother****ing lottery, man"? he actually was very helpful, as soon as I finished talking to him, he ran off right into the radscorions' nest and drove them away from me. saving my life

so, ugh, anyone else had that bug in the NCR Correctional Facility when you dress up like one of them, bribe the guard and enter it, but the guard then follows you inside and attacks, you kill him, but the rest of the NPCs stays non-hostile (seems that all of the named NPCs in the area become aware of your presence though and engage you at will)? wohoho, ther's more! if you kill him outside (he becomes hostile as soon as you get close enough) and strip him, and THEN enter the facility, every guard in there will be naked. this is pretty strange

haha, yeah, I hit a few invisible walls myself, up north at the quarry. very frustrating.

Fallout: New Vegas
man, it has never been harder to decide on my SPECIAL scores... I went with my standard F2 build, not sure how it's gonna play out. for this reason switched "hardcore" off to see how the game treats me. I'm definitely not touching VATS, "breaks the immersion" the game looks old, very old. like, 10 years old. the locations are way too big (is there a way to run?). other than that it feels very good to be back.

ugh, I don't mean New Vegas exclusively I hope it doesn't in it's case- Fallout: New Vegas
heh I know the feeling, it wears off fast, though- Fallout: New Vegas
of course it was good, it was the F2 story recycled. only recycled badly- Best game themes
man, finally some 8 bit music I love the Bubble Bobble theme. also, was supposed to have been mentioned here on page one, I'm disappoint... and while we're at it, here's the and what about the 16-bit music? also, I saw someone speak of oriental music. I really like the by J. Van Dyck. but my favorite soundtrack has got to be .- Dragon Age 2
I want them to roll back to what they were before they started making BG, and then I want them to rethink their steps.- Dragon Age 2
time will tell, I sure hope you're wrong- Dragon Age 2
exactly~ I'm putting my money on EA sucking Bio dry after they mess up TOR, so Bio in Canada will be forced to lay off half their staff and resort to iPhone games to make a living- Fallout: New Vegas
wha, leaked already? full version? damn. I remember some guy in Russia, who worked for a major publisher, left a full version of a yet unreleased game to his friend for the night. he's in jail now iirc- Dragon Age 2
that's exactly what I'm hoping for: that Bio will be reduced to a small studio with 30 employees at most and will have to slow down and put out a game once every two years.- KotOR MMO epic fail?
like Square did in FFXI? they basically added a single-player campaign to their MMO, but with tasks designed for a full party. the bosses, the player interaction - overall it was the best MMO experience I ever had. too bad they had to ruin it. point is: it can be done if done right, but of course you can't build a whole game around it- Dragon Age 2
looks like a dumbed down version of Severance- Dragon Age 2
Volo, don't you get tired of saying the same thing over and over again? shows how much you think of our intellectual abilities- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
this isn't necessarily true either it's nothing like the original. the interface is far worse and the combat system is different.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!
The Gamespot review seems to be a guy who never played the original, because all of his complaints existed in it as well. well, you'd think that Square would at least try to fix some of the issues. instead they made it worse. I loved most of FFXI, even the interface makes sense if you took the time to learn the basics and played with a gamepad. they should've put all this effort into upgrading 11th's engine: graphics and game mechanics.- Dragon Age 2
I'm crying - Fallout: New Vegas
