Hi just to confirm, are you guys still letting me in on New Vegas 2?
Azdeus replied to Prosper's topic in Developers' Corner
What the hell is this, you told me he worked 4 New Vegas!? -
Yeah, that sounds about right, though their pitch seems to paint it much, much bigger than that. I thought Eternity had a minimum of 1.1M$? That would sound like a more reasonable estimate, Shadowrun Returns asked for similar base amounts, and while it seems a good game and such, the scope of that game is much smaller than what Perihelion is setting out to do and they eventually got nearly 5 times the asked amount. And speaking of Perihelion, was'nt there a company with that name way back? There is something about that name that is really familiar, besides the astronomical association. And they did'nt take this golden opportunity to make a game called Star Tsars. :<

I'm looking, I love the sound of the very little I've read so far, but 500k$? For what they call a AAA-rpg... I'm not entirely convinced to say the least. But I wants its..!

Things every self-respecting man over 30 should have...
Azdeus replied to Raithe's topic in Way Off-Topic
If you own a toolkit and still need grooming kit, duct tape, chefs knife and a leatherman - you're not worthy of calling yourself a man. Or respectable. -
You mean scary as in injecting, say, silicone and botulinum toxin into your body or reshaping bones, removing tissue and whatever else they Whoa, that's ten different kinds of creepy, but also very cool. already do?

I've played WoW, orc-porn is'nt where it's at; Trolls. "Don' you be too gentle! We trolls regenerate!"
-
You people have'nt ever heard of furries? They're into those sort of things. Atleast I think so, it could be some very, very, very elaborate trolling going on, but remember! Rule 34.
-
Yeah, I get worried when people are'nt on time, especially when it's a whole lot. You either learn to follow the times you've set, or you definetly lose the right to ever complain about it again. He'd be pissed if I just sat by the computer waiting for him to show up and then got my ass in gear. Well, everyone I know consider a little bit to be between the time you set and before a quarter of an hour ("Kvart" is accepted as the name for 15 minutes), if you're later than that you're going to be a quarter of an hour late, if you can't plan reasonably reliably 15 minutes into the future and give a decent warning, then you lose your Swedish citizenship. And you're going to be at the very least "Very late"! And there was no traffic accidents or anything like that, he's just completely useless at planning.
-
Waiting for a friend to come and pick me up, he told me that he'd be "a little late". 35 minutes past the time we were supposed to have been there, and he's not shown up yet. It's not a "little bit" - that's 5-10 minutes, tops! How the **** can he get and keep a job with this sence of time?

I'd agree with him, but what about religion then? It's intellectual child abuse in my opinion, so it's a slippery slope there. Anti-vaccine? Definetly. Using pseudoscientific medical practices? **** yes.
-
Hmm.. did'nt even consider him being barefoot, I thought it was someone that was just too lazy to go get a real gasmask. Now I feel kind of bad for laughing.

You do realise that "lubing her up" is'nt meant to be literal, right?

Clearly the worst crotchrot in the world. :D

Hehe, just a wee bit jealous. Then again, back then I did a lot of wee-wee's.

Really? I never had lead miniatures so I could'nt say, but that's a fun little detail.

BEAKIE! YAY! Just a shame that the shoulderplate is erroneous, on the since the right pauldron should have the chapter heraldry, the left one wich you show your enemy have the studs for extra armour.

That's bloody awful, to say the least. That seems like a very young age for a heartattack aswell. Came back from another opthalmologist appointment today, it's getting better, my sight on the eye has gone from 0.5 to 0.8 and today 0.9, so it's getting better. Even though it does'nt feel like it, because there is a sort of "fog" on everything wich is probably due to meds. Tomorrow I get to go down on dosage, wich my wallet thanks me for, I'm beginning to think that they gave me like... twice as many bottles of betablockers that I was going to need though. Improvement, feels good!

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?
Azdeus replied to Arcoss's topic in Computer and Console
If Obsidian were to make a grimdark RPG set, hmm... say 38000 years into the future, with some magic and sci-fi themes were one plays as a human and investigate mysteries that goes on in the shadows of a vast galaxy spannign human Imperium, beset by unimaginable horrors and xenos, controlled by a dogmatic theocratic dictatorship ripe with xenophobia and fear of sedition, then I'd sell my car to back it. On a more serious note, it would depend alot on the pitch and the details of the game. I would'nt be much interested in a FPRPG for instance, then they'd really have to impress me with the other details. -
Might it be because your arms are bigger than most adult men are? ;D

I hope you did'nt get any injuries, Ros. Especially fingers have a tendency to get busted, wich you typically don't notice until the day after. I think it's been a couple of years since I was in a proper fight, my friends don't LARP anymore, so I don't have to otherwise amuse myself by prowling around town for the neonazi rejects that typically harass them. I'm kind of embarassed to admit it, but fighting is alot of fun, aslong as you can count on no knives or bats being brought out when the other side is losing.

I've fallen prey to that myself, so, so many times. I'm glad I don't take after my father in that aspect and can accept being wrong when I am. Can you really blame me for not recognizing that it was anything but a modded FAMAS? That said, the FAMAS is a wicked cool looking rifle, as **** as it may be.

Nice! That is awesome! Now, just solve the powersupply issue that I'm fairly confident is there. Pita to read through texts on white backgrounds at the moment, but I did'nt see them mentioning that at all. Oh, and please develop eyes! :D If it ever became affordable I would probably have all my limbs amputated, soooo frickin' cool. *_*

Warning! Anecdote! I hope that your trust is'nt misplaced. A few years ago my mother started renovating one of our houses, with the help of my uncle and his friends company. She trusted him implicitly, I did'nt trust him to keep checks on his partner. The crapenter came and looked over the house, said 400 000kr. They started working, dug up the front yard to lay down new sewage pipes and tanks. We got that cold snap, and they held up work, our water-pipes froze because they were exposed to -20C, and after the cold let up - they did'nt come back. Apparently my uncles partner bailed out with his machinery, told the carpenter we did'nt have the money, so they did'nt come either. The next two carpenters took a look at the house and said, "Yeah, I could fix the house, but the logs in the foundation needs to be switched out, and that's really expensive! If I don't fix it, it'll set and become crooked and you'll have wasted all that money". It's been years now, and the house is still just standing there, now as a giant fricking litterbox for cats and whatnot. :/ So, before you trust your friend, get a couple of other professionals to look it over and get a second and third opinion. It's a ****load of money you might loose afterall.

Yeah, that's a high risk buisness, it's very easy to get tricked into thinking "It's only this and this" that needs fixing, there are a ****load of things that can be hiding. How much experience with those things do you have?

Jerker is an timehonoured Swedish name, the common four letter word for promiscous woman means The end/An end or "out of". Or why not;
