What are you playing now
Civ5 patch list: http://store.steampowered.com/news/4789/ I'll have to give it a whirl as well.

The Cataclysm is coming!
I don't know, it sounds like TOR wants to have a strong single player experience as well, and if Cata and TOR both do well you'll probably see more attempts at strong solo experiences in MMO games.

The first CoD in particular made me not care so much about length of games, because I enjoyed it soooo much (I probably took more than 7 hours though). Pavlov's house was just such an entertaining level that if the game just contained missions like that all day I'd be okay with that (I actually liked a lot of the Soviet missions). I actually didn't care much for the British missions (excepting Pegasus bridge which was fantastic) because they tended to be solo missions akin to Medal of Honor which I didn't care for so much.

The day irony died
Skeptical to believe the tabloid, but that would be pretty entertaining haha.

He was referring to food buffs and being rested in game.

Underrated games you like?
Monte, I don't believe there are people here who haven't yet played FOT not sure about America and Europe, but in Russia FOT received quite a bit of praise from critics. but of course no sales figures, since there was no such thing as video games retailers in 2003 Possibly, but it is still underrated by any gamers and put into a similar bracket as that BOS console game. I do still need to play this game actually haha.

Please don't use that flawed argument again. It gives me an headache. Kthxbai. The flawed logic about her posting what she is enjoying about a game? I don't follow.

Goodbye GOG.com
Finally snagged Sanitarium.

Is this really true?
Wouldn't Bethsoft have been the ones who agreed to let Obsidian work on the game??

4th Super bowl ring?
Huge Brady fan. Don't follow NFL too closely, but they're always the team I keep tabs on. Was disappointed he didn't win a couple years back to complete the perfect season, but hopefully they can make amends this season. I'm enough of a fan of sports that I like to see the elite athletes (that I like ) do well in all sports haha.

Is common sense starting to prevail in America regarding the death penalty?
Just curious, are you aware of the recidivism rate is for murder?

Those triple bunk situations in a room with 40 other people aren't exactly awesome. Especially when you have to factor in the guards there that are not exactly buddy buddy with you.

BioWare's New Game
I thought the point of marketing was to get people to buy stuff, not discuss it. I discuss iPhones with my friends all the time, but there's no way I'm paying 1000 dollars for a phone/organizer Having people actively following and discussing your product is a great way to get people to buy said product because it raises brand awareness.

BioWare's New Game
You'll not find many people that do not think that Jennifer Hale is a stellar voice talent.

BioWare's New Game
Fixed.

Is common sense starting to prevail in America regarding the death penalty?
This is a logical fallacy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_emotion It's a human fallacy, not all of us are made of pure logic. Which is a strong argument against the death penalty, IMO.

If the USA manages to make a length of rope, or a bullet or a syringe more expensive than the admin then that's their business but not particularly efficient. Incidentally, my post wasn't aimed at all of you. Mainly Krezzie, bless him, whose adolescent liberalism always seems to grip my turd. Capital Punishment is a lot more than simply killing someone.

BioWare's New Game
I don't think BioWare ever said it was a new IP did they?

Can't you craft explosives?

Dragon Age 2
I thought a lot of it was per-pixel effects now and stuff like that. EDIT: Ah, it seems to be Environment Mapped Bump Mapping that is no longer used. My bad.
-
Dragon Age 2
Is bump mapping still used today?

Dragon Age 2
Meh, I think the character models are better than in DA2. /shrug

Deus Ex 3
I actually support the notion of not sticking to the idea that DX1's tech level MUST be superior to that of DX3's. I think it'd be a self-imposed limitation that isn't really necessary. As long as the methodology behind what is capable (these are full on mech implants, not tiny nanomachines) and whatnot remains consistent, I don't care so much that it may appear that Jensen is more powerful than Denton ever was. JC's limitations are as much technological (made in 2000) as anything else. I'm sure Mr. Spector would love to have another go at what he can do.

The Wikileaks debate continues
It's at the point where if I was a terrorist organization, I would be trying to kill him because it would help undermine American credibility.
