  1. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence and it's just the last of a string of bad news. Still holding high hopes for the game, but I fear this will be Alpha Protocol: the Fantasy Hack'n'Slash version. Prove me wrong, Obsidz, pretty please. Just this time, prove me wrong.
  2. You're an entitled idiot and someone needs to let you know. There's not liking a design decision (which I myself find a little weird, at the very least) and there's been disrespectful of the work of people. Trust me, not even the worst developer deserves being called "lazy" and I wish I had a hammer to beat people for every time they say it.
  3. Pyranha Bytes: Gothic rights will go back to us after we publish Risen 2.
  4. Wasn't his location previously Big MT? It was, yeah.
  5. On the original topic Buck will likely publish the interview with Feargus next week. Considering how in-depth the E3 one last year was, this should be good and hefty.
  6. Big Empty sounds interesting, but also like another cramped space. Also, of some interest, Chris' Twitter location is now "Lonesome Road, the Divide". Dunno, I may already have mentioned that, but whatever.
  7. Funcroc finds stuff, other people repost it on the internet. Good job funcroc!
  8. It looks like it's a generation ahead. It's up there with Crysis and just a couple of other titles. I'm going to be surprised if it runs well on any but the most powerful rigs though.
  9. It's not a guess. Equipment is reserved for the characters, while amulets and rings are free-for-all.
  10. Bull**** and you're a bad person for believing it. 4 DLCs have been confirmed so far. I imagine that if the DLCs are massively successful Bethesda will greenlight some more, but it's highly unlikely.
  11. It's not highly probable, it's confirmed. I'm surprised people are still worried about Bethesda handling the DLCs by themselves, it's simply highly illogical from a logistic point of view, not to mention that they've got their hands full with Skyrim and the design of Fallout 4.
  12. Bethesda is collaborating with Kirkbride IIRC. Much better choice to handle the TES lore.
  13. There was a tweet about a guy doing some modeling for DSIII (advertisement purposes I presume) that mentioned Reinhart so he's definitely a character. Buck may have thrown that reference exactly because he read it on the forum as an April's Joke, but I'm not so sure about that.
  14. I dunno why but in this piece of news Buck let the identity of the last character slip up:
  15. Funny because practically everything written by Bioware since KOTOR has been more or less trying to knock off Joss Whedon's writing.
  16. You can, you know, visit the website and search it yourself.
  17. Fight for the lost-er with some new ****: it's straight-up dawg time.
  18. I was browsing through Brian Menze's deviantArt and look what I found. Turns out those concepts were not for Project Virginia.
  19. I'm pretty sure he's the Legion guy that has already been shown in some previews of the beginning of the game, basically just a temporary helper.
  20. Talking about screens here are a couple I haven't seen before. Unfortunately resolution is quite small.
  21. Why you keep mentioning the writing when it's pretty clear that I never was referring to that? While I don't agree with virumor that Fallout 3 has much better quests than Fallout: New Vegas, he's right that there is some very good design there, and he has mentioned some examples. How about counteracting them, instead of just rebutting with "BAD WRITING BETHESDA BAD"? Seriously, guys, it's not that difficult, point the design choices you didn't like and say how F:NV did better in that regard. As for Vince, he's the man behind Age of Decadence and a long-time Codexian. Basically the guy who wrote the Dragon Age 2 review many here praised.
  22. You can put signs, like in Fallout: New Vegas for example. Design the environment in a way that you can get cues on what type of enemies you will meet and that you won't immediately meet the strongest type that can kill you. Place natural barrier so that the very hard areas are places you have to search for purposefully. Really, there's a lot and a lot of stuff you can do to avoid using level scaling. Fallout 3 was better than Oblivion, sure, but it still replaced Molerats and Bloatflies with Deatchlaws and Enclave members the furthers you went in the game.
  23. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim IGN Interview with Todd Howard What's so bad with this approach, Todd?
