  1. There's a selection bias here because the people voting are the ones who are already showing a strong interest in the game. But there's enough of a margin that they're probably fairly safe looking into the concept. I'm not sure if there's much of a point in asking people that aren't interested and haven't backed the title whether they want more stretch goals or not.
  2. There's also a possibility it's actually The Simpsons. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
  3. There's none. RPS posted that coda to their interview and never followed up on it, and that's it.
  4. Well, it did seem to be the focus of their interview and not a thing that could have slipped, but then again, this wouldn't be the first time a review of his gets delayed indefinitely ahahahah.
  5. False. The compressed download barely takes 4 gigs, and after installation it's still under 10 GB.
  6. Jason Schreier has a very good track record with rumors, so I'm assuming it's true. That said, they're just casting calls, it doesn't mean they actually cover the real plot of the title, they might just be trying to convey the atmosphere. A voice main character sounds stupid for a Bethesda game, though, so I'm *hoping* it's not real.
  7. I'm.. not sure? It didn't seem to pop up under my posts, but it's definitely in my profile.
  8. They couldn't just link the pledge because: 1) some people want to add stuff to their original pledge; 2) Kickstarter doesn't have an integrated add-on system and they can't just guess what those extra 20/30 dollars might be for. EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm sure more could be done from a usability standpoint and I hope you manage to solve your issues, just trying to explain why things are the way they are.
  9. This sounds slightly better than what I was imagining, but I'm still against stretch goals introduced this late in development. Keep that stuff for eventual expansions/add-ons and focus on the core game you've planned now. God knows you'll probably have to cut some stuff anyway.
  10. The Dyrwood in particularly is a relatively recently (?) colonized land, and it doesn't help that the locals don't really seem to want their forests and landscapes touched judging by the fact that a war erupted because some stones were moved, so I'd imagine that plays a role in that. That said, I wouldn't really mind if the team decided to be a bit loose with the amount of forest areas: they're certainly more interesting to explore than fields!
  11. Thanks Sensuki, but I'd prefer to hear a definitive answer from a dev.
  12. *mumbles something about expert opinion*Maybe the missing red circles around them makes them seem to blend in with the background. The characters in the other screenshot has their blue circles, making them stand out from the background at a quick glance. I did turn the GUI off when I took the shots. Is there a chance we might see the UI in the big update screens? It's been quite a while since our last (first, actually) glimpse.
  13. Elder Scrolls trolls are pretty cool. Three-eyed buggers that beat you to death, what's not to love?
  14. I kind of hope the trolls are more intelligent and scheming and less "huge orcs that need to be killed with fire and acid" like D&D's version. No complaints about the design.
  15. Okay update, but I really wished the screenshots you chose were a little less on the boring side. I get that this update was largely unplanned, but showing off first pass areas that look largely like what we've already seen seems a bit sloppy, especially when J.E. Sawyer's GDC slides had far more interesting screenshots. I like the concept for the other big city though. Do we have a name?
  16. What's the point of having a quest be marked as active if the game doesn't have quest markers or any of the associated UI helpers anyway? EDIT: I'm assuming the star means the quest is active because, uh, I don't know what it would be otherwise.
  17. Update the screenshot section weakly and by the time the game is released all the areas will have been spoiled.
  18. Cleve is actually one of Prosper's 3d models. In a way, you might argue it's his son.
  19. To be honest I can't imagine Parker and Stone care all that much about choices and consequences, so I'm expecting mostly cosmetic stuff and gameplay-related progression paths. Would be glad to be wrong, though.
  20. I can't be arsed to search for the posts, but I think JES mentioned it's BG2-like, as JFSOCC said. Personally, I too, am a fan of Storm of Zehir/Wasteland 2-style maps, or at least Fallout-style maps, but I'm not too bothered, it's still a good solution.
  21. This is just to surprise us when they announce it's called "The Eternal Guido".
  22. On Steambox and comfy couch: the new Steam controller seems to be more or less designed to fill this hole and make up for the lack of precision for standard controllers. The button placement looks weird to me, but I'd have to try it before being able to comment. Either way, that looks like your best bet in terms of controlling Project Eternity with a... controller (badum-tissh). Until then, I'm afraid I can't envision an Infinity Engine-like game being played with anything that's not M&KB, with the possible exception of tablets (and even then, I'd expect it to be far less efficient than M&KB).
  23. Oh god, I hope it's 10 hours of MCA playing Arcanum! i hope the 10 hours of MCA playing arcanum will be commented by Tim Cain. :D "I used to be enthusiastic about working with Chris, but now..."
