  1. I'm hoping for something a little bit more in depth but hey, I can live with barrels and chests.... and crates. Don't you dare forgetting crates Obsidian!!!! YOU HEAR ME?!!
  2. With a boner.
  3. At least here it was brought up by the OP. It just popped out of nowhere (and with it, Volourn!) in the sales thread.
  4. DGaider has confirmed that it won't be like that anymore.. well, at least for genders, still no word for different races, though considering they don't have to work all the PC animations for them and this 'putting distance between the various races' thing, I'd bet on elves and dwarves and qunari having their own rigs.
  5. Was to be expected. Still pretty terrible, Radon Labs was a decent developer and the second game improved so much on the first. Then again, it might turn out to be decent. Aventuria is a great setting, and TDE has some fun character classes to play with. ... assuming they get to work with the license.
  6. People can legitimately like Mass Effect 2, while still think that it's more of a shooter compared to Mass Effect (which is the blatant truth, supported by Bioware). I'm not sure what the hell it has to do with Alpha Protocol though.
  7. So, dear devs, and dear gentlemen of the jury, will this game have some sort of environment interaction, like breaking columns to smash enemies, environmental puzzle, or anything? Sincerely, Mr.Worst Ever
  8. What exactly they mean by cutscenes anyway? Fallout 3 was very similar to Valve's games in that it only had scripted sequences.
  9. And that's what I really don't understand. You don't fund a self-contained game with lots of choices and consequences and a rather weak focus on action and stealth if you want to start a million-seller franchise. Not that Obsidian is faultless, far from it, after all, THEY WERE THE ONE WHO DEVELOPED THE GAME, but did Sega know what they were funding?
  10. Stupid title aside, am I the only one that noticed they've changed the open jobs description on the main page, cutting all the 'searching for a talented individual, works well with a team, blah blah, is not Volourn' stuff?
  11. Well, it seems like they were expecting the game to be a top-tier RPG franchise. It honestly seemed a bit of wishful thinking on SEGA's part, but we don't honestly know what the budget was, maybe it was really high after all. EDIT : Granted, taking into account that AP is a multi-platform title.... I would be curious to compare these sales to other, well, let's call them 'second-tier' RPGs, like Divinity II or Drakensang.
  12. People who were there could ask for a refund.. right? RIGHT?
  13. Too late, once someone says "looks like PS2 game" you can't take it back You know that the only one saying that was actually defending the game graphics right? That said, I'm interesting to see what you've (as in Nathaniel/Obsidian, not Flouride) have done with the animations.
  14. Sten is a hornless Qunari according to Gaider though. As I said, I'm more curious about the changes to dwarves and elves, though Gaider implied they're more subtle (differentiating silhouettes and animations most probably).
  15. Well, not that Dragon Age didn't have its holes, so I'm not surprised Dragon Age II will have some too.
  16. Ehm.. have you missed the fact that in the article it's already explained how they justified this change?
  17. That whole show is made of awesome. DBZ? Cause that's Adolf Hitler going Super Sayin in a manga NOT with Goku. I guess he was talking about 'The Legend of Koizumi' the manga/anime where that pic originated.
  18. Can't edit my last post, so I guess I'll have to bump... Seems they're going BACK to their old Qunari concept art
  19. I think it was 37 Celsius this morning, but since there's enough wind, I actually quite like it.
  20. I did, but you probably didn't notice me since I use another nickname on Steam (eXdeath, for the matter).
  21. At least horned ogres now make sense.
  22. Well, since we only saw Sten in Dragon Age, the hand-wave isn't so difficult for Bioware. I'm curious about how the redesigned elves and dwarves will look though.
  23. GameInformer Dragon Age II podcast
  24. Except that the references to Lovecraft were really blatant.
