  1. Already doing focus testing on DLC 3? Either that was a typo or they'll churn them out really fast. Let's hope they're more polished, Dead Money had a lot of kinks, though I found nothing game breaking, and it could have used some more work in the art department (the layout of the maps mixed with the samey color palette made it very very difficult to navigate the Villa).
  2. Later I'm going to translate an Italian interview they had with Pyranha Bytes, right now I'm super busy unfortunately. And I think that the article from PCGames confirmed at least the return of Patty, and I think she's more relevant plot-wise too.
  3. First preview with first screenshots (not Target-Artworks!) from Gamespot.
  4. I played just fine. The fact that they didn't let people tinker with settings besides some presets was fairly annoying though. Game still looks gorgeous and ran pretty well at "Hardcore" though. Gameplay wise, my first impression was that they toned down the importance of powers compared to the original, but I didn't really play much of either game. Also, somewhat unintuitive controls.
  5. Same for me. Apparently Loghain killed the Archdemon valiantly... with Alistair as king. And Anora thrown in prison. Yay!
  6. Just note that according to the devs the Nightmare difficulty still wasn't tuned at the time of the demo.
  7. Meanwhile, Italian reviewer and administrator of the TGM Online forum (and Italian online mag) "ToSo" (****ty username, btw) said that the game is not an RPG at all and that it lasts 21 hours. Imagine the chaos! He also added that despite not being an RPG it's a good game (he's still writing the review). Post for anyone who wants a reference.
  8. I wish we could see some proper new footage, but even that cam footage looks pretty nice. Also, heartening news about Matt's beard.
  9. i would have hoped that it has satisfying gore like Dragon Age 2... Let's hope it has at least our fair share of corny sex cutscenes! We need 'em!
  10. DLC and mods do fairly different things. I still haven't found a quest mod for Fallout: New Vegas that can be so much as compared to the "average" Dead Money. And mods are good when it comes to learn what's popular so you can apply it to the next game, yeah, though I feel like some modders get far too entitled about this fact (I've seen some modders on the Nexus outright insulting the New Vegas devs, claiming that they know how to do their work better). And frankly? The mods for Baldur's Gate suck, for the most part. There's a couple that are good, as in, they add challenge for those that replayed the games thousands of times, but that's it. The ones that add dialogue are a bad imitation of Bioware's worst melodrama. Yick. So yeah, mods are cool, but some modders should probably be thrown in therapy as soon as possible. Let's fix those entitlement issues
  11. Already posted yeah.
  12. Nah, that box is only for pre-order, just as Deus Ex. EDIT: Destructoid: Dungeon Siege III to feature deep lore, impactful choices
  13. True, but we also have footage of both. Of course, The Witcher 2 looks like it's a long way before it's optimized properly, and I don't have too much trust in CDProjekt doing THAT right, but you can't say they look remotely similar. And many found the DX11 rendered glitchy as hell, me included. Plus, to be honest, having played the demo with both the DX11 enabled and only DX9, I can't say I noticed many differences. There's improvements over DA:O, sure, but they don't really seem so impressive to me. Granted, I'm not a technical guru, and frankly, I don't care about being one. I care about the final visual results, and both DA:O and DA2 seem roughly at the same level to my eyes. And yeah, that's not taking into account some atrocious artistic decisions like the Saturday morning cartoon feel they gave the game. Don't really care about this stuff, to be honest.
  14. Feargus has learned a thing or two from Bethesda about hype. But will he deliver?
  15. Not sure if the soundtrack is taken from the game, though.
  16. I'm glad that the story lacks epicness for once. Bioware sorely needed to make a story like that, and just forget about epic battles that decided the destiny of the world.
  17. Isn't that, uh, what Neverwinter Nights 2 did? Also the "Tales of" series Design-wise they were pretty different games. Also, Neverwinter Nights 2 played without pausing every 2-to-3 seconds to take control of the other characters wasn't aprticularly fun to play for me, as the AI was just SO bad.
  18. Until of course they become fashionable again, the hubris in this statement is breath-taking (we're not making them so they are over). Bio has been on this course for several years, the volte face from the traditional elements of DA:O I guess is a legacy of the epic development cycle. They are just a magazine. They are not making anything, Monte.
  19. What do you mean by finding yourself being unable to resolve one of the crossover threads?
  20. Only? I had one, and that was after finishing the DLC and coming back to the Mojave Wasteland. I did have terrible performances since installing the new patch though. Eagerly waiting for the new version of the Stutter Remover.
  21. Now, there's something I've been wondering for a while, but is there any word as to from what platform have the footage/screenshot been taken from? Console or PC? Thanks for the answer
  22. Uh? The rendered for DX11 is so glitchy it's not even funny. Not that the DX9 isn't glitchy too now that I think about it, Flemeth just went transparent in a cutscene for no discernible reason.
  23. The DLC recommends starting at level 20+. Most of the dialogue challenges you encounter are easy (never encountered something harder than a 75, as far as I remember), and to be honest, as long as you know how to pump out some criticals on the same body part, I think you can probably go there even sooner than level 20. I completed it at level 26 and I didn't find it particularly difficult, except for a section near the end, but the challenge there wasn't linked to skill.
  24. You've described about any WRPG that came out in the last.. what.. 15 years?
