  2. You mean Denver? Can't remember anything of that in FNV. Antony, a member of the Legion who trains dogs at the Fort, comes from a tribe near Denver, and the way he describes it, it's Dogtown from Van Buren. So yeah.

Sacred 2 looks like it has better textures (though I wonder, you talk about an "Elite pack" were they in the game since the beginning? in all versions of the game?), but Dungeon Siege III has significantly better lighting and effects. Also, as far as I know, yeah, the game is still in alpha, though from here 'till May I doubt they're going to do a new high-resolution texture pack.. so I'm hoping they're just holding off one for the PC version. Either way, it doesn't bother me that much, it looks good in motion, and that's what's important.

  6. What bothered you? Facial animations (from what I remember in a preview you guys said you were still working on those, so I'm looking forward to seeing them improved) and the melee enemy AI.. it just seemed.. stiff. They rushed to Lucas and then just didn't attack, they were far too slow compared to him. I guess that being those the first stages of the game I can't quite put my hand on how the game will feel, but it's still a little worrying in my opinion. Rest looked good. EDIT: Also, this is just me being curious, but why have you guys ditched the stylized tree for dialogue? The new dialogue wheel looks.. normal.

  16. We knew that since a while. Makes sense, considering DS's box art. Why, was that already in DS2? No idea, but in the demos they've shown the statue of the farmer showed... a female warrior.
  17. What the article said isn't that the characters don't progress during that playthrough, but that you can't import that progress in another game, clockwerk. And even that is not confirmed as of now, seeing as how Squenix and Obsidian are tight-lipped about multiplayer and co-op.

  19. I don't think there's much of an overlap between L.A. Noire's audience and Dungeon Siege III. There might be some between TW2 and DSIII though. EDIT: Also, four "heroes" sounds okay when you consider that everyone of them has an origin and complete voice-acting and that it's likely that many side-quest will overlap and such. It probably would be prohibitively expensive to have more characters. Hopefully having only 4 "heroes" will make them distinctive enough while still giving you the ability to customize them even if right now it looks like the customization will be very limited.
