  1. There aren't enough Picard Face-palm pictures on the entirety of the internet to describe that video. Welcome to your new overlords Bioware! Music was ok. I love Marylin Manson. <3
  2. Here is what to expect from Fallout: New Vegas - Story: Obsidian likes to tell stories. They do this very well. Granted, if they have the time, they do it well. (SEE Mask of the Betrayer). - JE likes to tweak stuff: This is a GOOD things (SEE Icewind Dale II). However, this will ultimately depend on how much freedom Obsidian is allowed with the ruleset, and game engine. -Dialogues: we Will NEVER see such horrifying - You fight the good fight -[intelligence] You fight the good fight OEI actually *knows* how to make/write dialogue stat checks. - Music: - OEI has always understood how music can impact a game. Hell they even created a position for it. This is a GOOD thing. As for what ever else they have planned.... MYSTARY.
  3. Yes. I have re-played Bloodline multiple times, with and without Wesp's patches. Wesp's patch really fix a ton of bugs/errors, and the restored stuff is very good. I highly recommend you play with them. Latest patch is here.
  4. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDet...roduct_id=72850 But yes true, I haven't come across any official Bioware official release about this yet. And on even more exciting DA news: Bioware and Green Ronin to Publish Dragon Age Pen & Paper Role-Playing Game Take THAT WotC!
  5. This please. The sunglasses in FO2 were fine, but my gawd. make. it. stop.
  6. You know we could debate the fault's/good things of Fallout 3 until the end of time (2012). Perhaps we should provide some actual discussions on making Fallout:New Vegas a kick butt RPG, developed by Obsidian. I'll start: VATS is awful. Does JE have an idea to actually make this..... better other than a giant cheat mode? Can you make stats actually mean something this time (read, replayability) And not put bobbleheads everywhere. Slow down leveling, and NO LEVEL SCALING. Make some areas just very difficult.
  7. Hmmm next question, do you own a legitimate version? I still have my original CD when it first came out, and I have no problems.
  8. Were it that simple, I wouldn't talk about it. Odd. I have no problems at all running it on XP. You might try looking as some of the FAQ's here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=78 See the stickies at the top.
  9. Did you set it to run on win 98 compatibility?
  10. Worst. Troll. Ever. I wish I could hand you an award or something.
  11. And having played IW we should be excited because???
  12. Wow. I am actually shocked it was allowed to not use EA's evil call home DRM. :boggle:
  13. What exactly does Windows 7 do?
  14. Agreed. They actually look like Super Mutants, unlike the Orks Bethesda did. Well done Sir.
  15. I am curious what Classic Las Vegas casinos they will feature. Stardust and possibly Frontier are a given. I don't know if there is some *weird* copyright thing to using them though. Something that WOULD be awesome, would be the Star Trek Museum thing at the Hilton (Which... I think was closed down..? It was AWESOME!!! I thankfully got to enjoy that before it was closed down. And I bought some Romulan Ale <3) But that would also be on of those *weird* copyright things. *sigh* And well... it wasn't there in the 50's heh.
  16. I *still* don't see why people still bring up the OMG too much lulz thing. Has ANY Obsidian game ever had as much epic lulz as was in Fallout 2? No. They learned that lesson years ago. Now... let's see a good solid story.... Area 51, and a Super Mutants Elvis impersonator. It's all good.
  17. I just hope we get to visit Area 51. And hopefully they can re-skin/re-model the orks from Fallout 3 so they look like the Super Mutants from F1/F2.
  18. For those that use firefox there is a nifty Firefox My Brute Manager for this.
  19. Or possibly a Super Mutant Elvis impersonator singing Viva Las Vegas?
  20. http://www.earlyvegas.com/contents_page.html Net site with some video footage of early Vegas. Would be neat to see some of those old casino's in New Vegas.
  21. Well, one can hope Obsidian is one of these "Partners" with Atari. Even with the 4th ED, and it's Tyr/Helm/Lathander thing, I wouldn't mind an Obsidian game in this new setting. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
