  1. Back in Nostalga mode there?
  2. Maybe MT missed Sniper Training class while in Spy School?
  3. 1. Do a google search for hitler hates valve site:youtube.com 2. Click the top entry 3. Laugh! 4. Profits!
  4. I was going to suggest Baldur's Gate Nights but it doesn't really roll off the tongue I kinda like that name actually.
  5. So this makes me wonder. Instead of the name Neverwinter Nights 3.. they will start with a whole new engine and do a simialr Game+Toolset in the 4th edition settings and called....... Waterdeep Nights!
  6. Yay! Can I assume SEKRET NEW GAME uses the Onyx engine? And Feargus did not correct the interviewer that they are NOT working on Aliens RPG.... so that must be a GOOD thing then?
  7. Damn! My plan was 100% flawless! Well maybe Feargus and his 150% Speech Skill can approach some other people to get this done! And I like that Deep Space Nine as a location. That could be rather cool!
  8. ooh! That WOULD be pretty cool too. I'd even love a Battlestar Galactica RPG! But for now, I want my Star Trek RPG!
  9. OK let's start from a base of a game that does not include "uninspired quest design and puke-inducing infodump dialogues". Having read the dialogues in AoD, I have no clue as to what game you have ever played or liked the writing in. Do you have an example we can start from?
  10. This is one of my top 5 favorite setting for a game. I've always wanted say a KotoR like experience but in say the Star Trek universe. So here is my plan. Since OEI is now buddy buddy with Bethesda now, and since Bethesda has the right's to Star Trek Games (I don't fully understand the scope of the Star Trek rights Beth/Zenimax have, other than that one game they made via a different studio, I'll just *assume* they could approach Universal with the idea), all OEI needs to do is a Prototype and pitch this to Beth/Zenimax. And with Feargus' 150% Speech Skill, I think it could be done! The setting could take place after 2269 (The end of Season 3 in ToS), and feature all new people. You could still have some references to the original Star Trek cast members and maybe a cameo or 2. A Star Trek RPG would be PURE AWESOME!
  11. woo hoo! New SEKRET Project!
  12. You can knit pick ANYTHING to death and bash it to it's basic elements. Still the final product, and how it is enjoyable to YOU as a gamer, is the ultimate end. As someone who does a bunch of mods for KotOR/KotOR2 how about I do a review of your mods based on the the same criteria you have already stated? AoD *has* the potential to be one of the better RPG's released in the past few years. REAL choice and Consequences (Not Biowarian... It all leads to the same thing), Multiple ways to achieve quests (Not seen since Bloodlines), Stats that actually matter (See anything done by Bethesda) etc etc...
  13. Yes: me. Reading the dialogue in the "choices and consequences" thread, what I see is uninspired quest design and puke-inducing infodump dialogues. It's not as immersion breaking and just right down horrific as say Fallout 3's writing is (Not ALL of Fallout 3 is this bad... just a large part of it is). As long as tyhe writing is "good" I'll be happy. The huge amounts of Choice and Consequences, many many different ways to approach quest, NO FEDEX
  14. SO... they tried D&D Online... which was FAIL (Peaked at around 90,000 subscribers then tumbled down to less than 45,000)... so now try a NWN Online.... profits?
  15. Dragon Age: Exit Is The Only Option.
  16. Agreed. You might try the Keyring mod for it as well. VERY well written and well done quest and battle.
  17. Jagged Alliance 2... PURE AWESOME! MOAR!
  18. Do you play many video games? Because I'd say the writing is right at the industry standard. That's not a compliment, but I'm just surprised it bothers you so much. Honey, I've been playing games since my Commodore 64 while you were still in diapers. So far the...... hideously written PC responses make me want to stab my eyes out with a fork. I'm OK with the voice acting (I've heard MUCH MUCH worse). And the NPC dialogues are............................. OK..? Anyways.... I made it out of the Vault. That.. effect when you got outside was cool. Glad to see they actually spent a moment adding such a touch. I guess I'm off to Megaton...?
  19. I bought Fallout 3 last night. God... the writing is so unbelievably awful. I'm still inside the Vault. Hopefully some things will get better once I get outside. I did like the look of the Vault. That was actually pretty good.
  20. Yea Checkpoint Saves are something I really do not like. As long as it is done fairly well, and avoids a bunch of repetition, I'll be ok with it.
  21. I finally bought Fallout 3 last night and I had no idea what it was as well. Then I tried to register, but It won't allow me to register with an email with a @verizon.net domain. Now that I know what it is... That was a good thing I could not register.
  22. Will the Mini-Games be effected by your skill level in each skill. For example, in watching the dev video that showed the hacking mini-game, will it be easier to hack with a higher hack skill? Also if you have NO points in the hack skill, can you at-least try (but have an incredibly difficult, if not impossible chance of success)? Sorry if this was already answered elsewhere.
  23. I think this statement summed it up nicely: They're not even pretending to stick to the Fallout setting anymore.
