Yea with Virtual PC for XP, it was the ONLY stable format I could run the game in. Now if only it could be in 3D... but oh well. JUST being able to play it in a stable environment was awesome. <3

That build is NOT made for power/1337ness etc.. Yep it has flaws etc bitch/whine but It is PURELY made specifically for the OC+MotB and makes the game a blast to play.

Hmmm I do know Open Office does have the option of reading and writing of files in M$ Word format... It's kind of a huge d/l though :/

ok thank you. I would "hope" thats enough support to play some older 3D titles? Well, I tried it some and it seems to be a mixed bag - some older games like it and some do not. However, I belive the final one will be even more powerful so I would hope that all titles would work after that. Allrighty, I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. By chance, do you happen to have Grim Fandango? I know it worked flawlessly in the XP version of Virtual PC (Using software rendering). I'm curious if you can now finally actually use the hardware rending for that?

That's OLD info. DO the following: Install NWN2 Install MotB Run Autopatcher That's it. IF you have SoZ, it will apply all the patches to 1.19(?) IIRC. Thats one of the nice reasons to own SoZ is those damn patches.

Hey Bokishi (or anyone else using W7) have you tried the Virtual PC that comes with W7? Specifically I wanted to know if they finally added 3D support to it. For example I could run Grim Fandango with NO problems using Virtual PC (for Windows XP), however since there was no 3D support, it was using the emulated 3D. I really wanted to try and run Ultima 9 (it requires 3D and has crashing problems with XP) so I could finally finish my lulzy Lets Play thread on the codex. Ultima 9 would not run on Virtual PC, as there was no 3D support.

Baldur's Gate Trilogy (WeiDU). The sheer fact I can play BG1+TotSC+BGII+ToB as one huge giant game... was too awesome to pass up. I have cleared the Nashkell mines, and have not had any bugs or problems so far. *crosses fingers* I also LOVED the idea that after Killing *cough* S, you get the cut scene, but the game does not end. You then need to head to the Palace, and THEN continue your journey (to BGII). NEAT!

Yes its adolescent as all get out and wholly unneccessary to the game, but it is also easily skippable for the most part. One of thoe things I think that is given more importance (both positive and negative) than it merits. He's just upset, because it's only women. Guilty!
