I've hated TV Tropes ever since an aspiring writer kept using their terms to explain their story. It just feels cynical to try to boil down everything to a formula, even the "Hero of a Thousand Faces" manages to do that without calling out and ruining good stories.

Corporation and highly capable individuals or in high positions are only good when they do good for everyone, or at least the majority. People are right to chase down both individuals and corporations that act against their interests.

I wonder if their strategy was to have everyone hoping to get rich quick fly United.

Passivity might just lead to both death or life long injury (either external or internal). The flight attitude that a lot of "pacifists" seem to take seems to rely on them somehow being able to move away from violence or to let others do violence on their behalf. Which is why I'm bothered why their misguided belief that it somehow more moral to surrender to the whims of others rather than to do for oneself. Even more when I know that the only reason that modern liberals regurgitate the idea of pacifism is because of the counter culture movements of the late 60's and 70's, when drug addled musicians began to embrace eastern philosophies. Considering that the drug usage and the latent passivity was already present on the Mod music scene, non violence just provided already passive individuals with a mean to justify their actions with a moral construct. Meaning that it just helps excuse the lack of capacity for any type of violence; either positive or negative, outside of a mob situation.

I keep thinking that the role should go to an unknown that looks the part.

"who is your role-model?" doesn't come up in conversations often, but it happens. our answer is "barbara jordan." typical we get blank stares. explanation often causes more confusion. am considered libertarian/conservative in our social circle. professionally we gets lumped in with the current textualists. as such, am s'posing barbara jordan might seem like an odd choice. HA! Good Fun! Mine's Andrew Jackson, my group already knows i'm crazy.

Crazy stuff: I'm starting to have sympathies towards the idea of gun ownership. I just don't know yet how to stop the shootings Don't live an a liberal state with tough gun laws seems to be a good starting point.

Considering there was a case of a transportation lawyer in 2004 who won a suit against United just for denying him his flight for the same reasons, I would say that the current victims have a better case.

Maybe they need the frequent flyer miles? At any rate I hope that both the Airline and the police enforcement(if that's who forcibly removed the man) both get sued.

The left is now pointing that out because its Trump, they were more than happy to praise Obama and ignore his drone strikes.

Honestly I don't think anyone is capable of caring anymore; caring would mean to the issue ahead of your political views. Not all this virtue signaling

I only have anecedotal experience, having played ME 1 and 2 (and part of 3) within the last 6 months. My memory is that most of Bioware games go Companions and major NPCs - unique faces minor, villagers/citizens, mobs - same face in different colors or tattoo patterns (or hair for humanoids) My memory (which may cheat) is that Liara (companion), Benezia, Sha'ira, Aria (major NPCs) all had unique faces. Samara and Morinth (Companion) shared the same unique faces. All the other Asari (the Dantius sisters, Shiala and her clones, the various Asari commandos) to my memory used the same basic face with tonal and tattoo/make-up designs differing. Although Asari are probably a bad example anyhow, because their reproduction seems to leave a lot of likelihood that relatives would look the same given Samara-Morinth and the Dantius sisters. But I think it holds through with Turian and Krogan. That said, given that most of the time people are background dressing, its possible that I just never paid it any attention. And doubt I will this time around. Anyhow having spent some more time around people I've noticed several uses of the same hairstyle with slightly different human face combinations. And the same asari face with different tones on non-talking NPCs. But again I don't think this is startlingly different from the previous MEs. The only one who threw me was an NPC who had the exact same face as one of the custom Ryder defaults. That is true, and back in the days of Jade Empire I did forgive that a lot but they at least had the good notion of space the same faces out and relegate them to minor characters. When a vital character that has been well established beforehand turns out to have the same face, or when you get the more that one character on the same scene with the same face; then it becomes so obvious that you just have to call it out.

I'm in the planet with the Outcasts (can't pronounce the name..Kadarsomething or some such) and just got to the club. I don't know if it was by design or what but every dancer seems to be male but the dance moves are definitely female...it just feels like I walked in the wrong club or something. There is at least one Asari dancer, but you never really know with those.

Until you realize every asari (except for one) has the exact same face with slightly different color. Good luck in-seeing that, because once I noticed now it makes it impossible for me not to think of them all as the same character in different costumes. That's actually kind of a problem for all the ME games...and for all races, actually. The party members of those alien races look unique enough, but everyone else looks more or less the same outside of a few minor exceptions. It was a problem in ME before hand. I've only met a couple of Asari and one or two Turians so far in ME:A and they seemed distincter to me in there than in ME1-3. Sorry but i'm going to call bull on that, Asari faces had at least 4 or 5 different models in the original trilogy. Andromeda is literally the same face model...and it's not a good looking one, looks like a pudgy ceramic doll.

I gotta say, Liam's personal mission is funny. The writing is good even if some bits are direct quotes from StarWars, it feels like someone shocked a cadaver and we get a glimpse of what it could have been.
