Yeah, some light modding is required for those games.

There was the possibility of Shepard not being a raving lunatic and the galaxy geting attacked by Cthulhu-bots to kill them all. Can you blame them for pulling a haste exit stage left? Though now that I think about it, since the Reapers had 50,000 years between harvests they could've dealt with other galaxies too. I'm hoping that at some point they will grow some self awareness. I remember Ubisoft trying to push yearly Assassin's Creed releases, until they realized they were headed for trouble; even though financially they did well enough. So they had the Black Flag team develop the new AC Empires game and are trying to get the series back into shape. I mean, eventually EA will know that they have to fire a bunch of people at BW; particularity their animation team and some of the writers.

Then I remember what ****ty time they were born into and I feel all better.

I just realized how dumb the Andromeda initiative is; they send millions of beings into a new galaxy that hasn't been recon by a forward team and hope for the best. Is overpopulation such a big deal that they just decided "Sure, lets shoot people to unknown space where we haven't even established a colony."

Nier Automata, buyer beware I had major freezes where I had to restart my PC. I just refunded this game, if I have to wait for a game to be playable I might as well get it from the bargain bin or wait until it's cracked. Shame though, since it seemed to be a fun game.

Yeah this game don't have Ansel support yet either. That means no cool screenshots How are the face animations?

I play BW games for the same reason people gave a damn who Lindsey Lohan was, trainwrecks are amazing.

which one? I think I was able to talk out from most crisis I didn't want to fight it (btw I just got into Bloom but I want to return to clear out that bad canibals) Sounds like he's talking the Endless Gate tomb.. Technically you can bypass those combats, but it makes the final "boss" of that section harder if you do end up sliding into the combat again. But you can still deal with him via non-combat routes if you hit the right dialogue. Also, remember to check things and pick up his merecaster before you enter the gate... Seems like good advice, is the merecaster the flower bouquet? Cause I got that already and did the memory bit. I just need stock on potions, my health is being worn down by all the previous encounters so the final fight is harder than it has to be. But now that I finally get to experience more of combat I can say that it just ****ed up that you only have one turn per character and you can only move or attack. There are abilities that let you attack with move but abilities and character building seem to be very lacking in this game. By which I mean pick one class and everything else is decided for you, which would be fine if every class wasn't so barren. I been playing this game for hours with what should be a mage class and I only have 3 to 4 "spells", which is fine since I can only use one of them per turn. So I guess what I'm trying to say is Planescape combat was bad, Numenera is a new low.

This ****ing game, it's hours of dialog and no combat and then out of the ****ing blue it throws you into a dungeon you can't escape where you have fight waves of cultist and a boss. So now I have to go back to an earlier save and procure healing items just because of poor design choices.

BTW, how do you check your tide affinity?

Reminds me of that one story about a college that let students choose their pronouns and the faculty had to abide by them. Some ass picked its royal highness or something like that.

He too old.

Do foci have any impact in the game other than the bonus? Like different reaction from characters or something like that. So far (still in Sagus Cliffs) I haven't seen anything like that. If they don't they could just have made like six or nine without much problem. Anyway, I think there are other things (mind reading, skills in general, tides) that are more important and have a decent amout of reactivity. Foci are somewhat like a PrC in D&D. They are a flavor that is stacked on top of the class. So, a Nano could "Ride the Lightning" or "Control Gravity" in the P&P game. These are typically involved with combat, and I know that isn't a focus of the game, but they could at least have given us less generic ones. I don't want to spoil, but follow the main quest a bit more and you will unlock your three options for foci. And none of the three have any benefits for Nanos.

I just found a Don Quijote reference, this game is weird.

Did anybody else chuckle when they heard the main character say "updated my journal"?

So apparently skydiving without a parachute is lethal. Lesson learned Numenera.

The male character looks like his real life model counterpart. The female character looks like the model might look after she'd just been in a serious car accident. If you would remember that Jessica Chobot was also in a ME game and also looked like a crash victim same Yvonne Strahovski. So this new evidence; that points to the male model being of higher quality than the female model, along with the previous fact that Mark Vanderloo face was of greater quality than the rest of the real life cast can only lead to one conclusion: Whomever is in charge of the art direction in ME is a big fan of the boys.

The epilogue confirms it though.

Just finished SR:HK bonus campaign. More CRPG should have high leveled campaigns I always like those the best.

Ahhh, the joys of finding perfect team combinations in Darkest Dungeons. Nothing is so great as making easy work of bosses.

I quit Stellaris a while back because I got into a bit of an arms race with my neighbors (it is really boring). Plus I'm trying to cut down on my alcohol intake and the way I prefer to play Stellaris is drunk while listening to Aqua.

Which was one of the problems with Unity, since they got pulled into all the micro transaction bait there was no time to flesh out characters or have meaningful sidequests. A far cry from AC 2.
