  1. Some people have a vocation, I never understood why some choices have to be so heavily penalized by society. Also, it is not like all liberal arts degree are the same; plenty of industries rely on the exploitation of art degrees. Mostly entertainment and product development, yet the greater benefits are being reaped by the people selling and promoting the product rather than the ones making it. It is one of those cases where company decides that the value of the people that can make a good quality product is less than the ones that can sell it. Plus it proves beneficial to them since they need more developers than salespeople and god forbid that they higher ups stop lining their pockets to ensure that the developers get their fair share.
  2. Sorry but is very difficult to network on a self education, I'd rather they just fix major education cost since they are a sham.
  3. Sorry, I meant only when its black criminals. They never seem to have a problem when the injustices are clear.
  4. IDK, why do black people only riot when black criminals get shot?
  5. Looks to me they're considering it a hate crime because he was white as well. I'm more upset a kid got tortured than what specific reason his torturers got charged with a hate crime for, but I guess that makes me a nazi sjw or something. No it just makes you a regular human being, one day you will join the rest of us in CrazyTown USA.
  6. So you want to play an incest simulator? You sick, sick puppy. if one genuine wants such, they can get it from most any japanese dating game. *shudder* HA! Good Fun! Dating sims have nothing on Crusader Kings 2. Just check if John Roger has a Tardis. Edit: on second thought, also check that Pepin guy.
  7. Isn't a Skald a viking bard? What's the difference? Do Skalds only play heavy metal and don't require consent to bed someone?
  8. I always thought it was more like "bad behavior is being rewarded so we are going to misbehave until people decide to right this wrong". I mean SJW have been getting their way with their whining, is it really so surprising that others have followed their example? So do you feel that with Trump winning the election, those others will set aside their misbehavior and become champions of moderation and reason? Nope, more likely we are closer to tearing each other's throats out. Which at least seem a step in any direction and away from the cultural bog that we've been driven into that has led to the rise of PC culture, politics as religion and corrupt institutions. Maybe after every lunatic has their way the sane and moderate people will be forced to take action, the problem is that every lunatic thinks they're the sane one.

  10. More stuff like this and no one will bat an eye when Trump tightens anti Libel laws against the press.
  11. I wanted to make an alt completely in character as Bruce Campbell but sadly impersonation is one of those alt rules that will get it banned. Silly forum guidelines. That seems like one of those things that you might like so much that you don't go back to being your regular self.
  12. Should had taken her to a different movie, then you could have been doing something else for a few hours afterwards.
  13. At least 10. I just finished the 9th, which, at first, was set up like it would be the final mission. I suspected otherwise and was correct as there was a PLOT TWIST! Mission 9 was ruthlessly difficult and I now have developed an intense hatred of chickens. Also, these missions would be a bit easier if I hadn't made a promise to myself to kill no civilians. They would still be difficult missions, but there are certain parts that would be made much easier if I just shed a bit of innocent blood. I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself as I managed to kill 5 guards at the same time in the last mission using 3 characters simultaneously. It took me many attempts to get the set up and timing just right to pull it off, but it was so damn satisfying when I finally made it work. I'm still at mission 3... I've moved on to Darkest Dungeon and I'm loving it, a game has never made me feel so depressed and close to insanity. Really gets that whole Lovecraft thing down.
  14. He did a heck of a good job playing an autistic.
  15. just about right I wish, I have family obligations.
  16. Liberal salt aside, you do realize that the system is set up that way so that the States can get better representation.
  17. Sorry but I don't want to be an intern again.
  18. I'm not interested in expanding our nuclear capability either, but this is still far more reasonable than the F-35. Well, considering how many toes he's going to step on expanding the nuclear arsenal is sure to keep any global coalition from getting to aggressive.
  19. Looks like 2016 wants to remind us that is not over yet.
  20. Hollywood doesn't just beat the dead horse, it cuts into parts, mix them with other horses and puts coils making lighting cross through it reanimating it...all so that they can beat it again.
  21. So we should eat Kosher?
  22. I think this thread perfectly reflects 2016 politics, so dismal that we rather talk about nutrition.
  23. It is difficult for me to determine since I don't know of any experiments that have been conducted on this subject. Just based on my own experiences I can tell that my diet hasn't changed, I literally am eating the same dishes that I was eating when I was a child (If anything I'm now trying to eat healthier and broader) I haven't gotten to the point in my life that my metabolism has slowed down enough for me to gain weight. More so, I know don't eat dinner; so I went from eating 3 meals a day on a Third World country to just 2 in the US. All this and I still gained massive amounts of weight compared to what I used to weight when I came to the US. I haven't grown any taller since then, so that's not it. Plus any additional caloric intake hasn't changed; I don't eat sweets any more than I used to. The only variables that I can see have changed is the food and the lifestyle. First World life is more sedentary, but then again I now exercise more. Which only leaves the food ingredients themselves. Mmmm maybe eat that 3rd meal, I know that eating less times a day will screw up the metabolism. My girl went to only twice and she ballooned up there for a bit but started losing weight when she ate more times a day but ate a lil smaller portions. It's a bit screwy. Also forgive me for the tone, I get this conversation a lot and usually it's from people who worked the fields and ate homecooking then moved here and are now behind a desk and eating out all the time and blaming our foods here for why they starting to get overweight. Enough times that it's usually a gut reaction that by going from most of the day manual labor to desk jobs with working out but eating at restaurants all the time and blaming out "poor quality" food as the source of why they becoming fatasses. I didn't notice anything bad about the tone. I'm already trying to switch to smaller portions simply because it's healthier, although I still wholeheartedly believe that the sugar amount on American foods is a factor along with other additives. Ever since I decided to watch my caloric intake it just feels like i'm fighting against the tide. So maybe I get a bit sore when people defend the Food industry.

  25. Then if you're for regulation why do you defend McDonalds? Why is that we criticize another country when in ours we allow the same poison as long as is within tolerable degrees? If you are argument is that poisoning is bad why are you defending slow poisoning and condemning the fast one? If you want to believe propaganda condemning US enemies for the same crap that we do, the you're free to do so. Just don't expect me to jump from that cliff. So a quick death due to bacteria is equal to a slow death due to unhealthy eating habits in your narrative? There is unhealthy eating habits and there is food that is harmful. Trust me on this, American food is in general less healthy than natural food; even the one with organic on the name. I can personally attest to this since every one of the people I know from back when I was in Cuba that has come to the US has gained a lot of weight (myself included) even if they don't eat trash food or drink soda on a regular basis. Before you think that it is just that they have more to eat here, I actually ate more meals a day back in Cuba. My preference of food hasn't changed, the only variable that has changed is that before I had natural food and now I have GMO foods. You won't change my mind on this subject simply because I know with great certainty that American food is harmful and the regulations don't exclude harmful substances, just how much you can have in your product. If you think this acceptable then I would like to invite you to a dinner where every dish has non lethal amount of arsenic in it and see if you last the night or whether you are actually convinced that poison in small measures is not harmful.
