  1. Ahhh, the joys of finding perfect team combinations in Darkest Dungeons. Nothing is so great as making easy work of bosses.
  2. I quit Stellaris a while back because I got into a bit of an arms race with my neighbors (it is really boring). Plus I'm trying to cut down on my alcohol intake and the way I prefer to play Stellaris is drunk while listening to Aqua.
  3. Which was one of the problems with Unity, since they got pulled into all the micro transaction bait there was no time to flesh out characters or have meaningful sidequests. A far cry from AC 2.
  4. It will be patched in future releases.
  5. I'm pretty sure Google, Apple, all the movies studios, HP, Tesla, etc. are not owned by the US in any way. That would kind of violate the entire model of capitalism. And considering a lot of these tech companies make their stuff in China, an independent California would probably have no trouble negotiating trade deals. Plus the port of LA is the largest trade port in terms of dollars in the world. Basically it would be a major loss for the US, but it doesn't really matter because it isn't going to happen. Anyone who wants it is delusional and is too caught up in political rhetoric to recognize basic economics. California loves the idea though, like a scorned wife that keep saying that she'll leave. Even if they are a big producer without a market they can't make profits and the US is a large consumer market. I would argue states like Texas play the old " I want to secede from the USA card " more regularly than Cali ? The reason why Texas talks so much about it is because they are actually legally allowed to secede from the US. As part of their deal of surrender during the Civil War they have the right to do exactly just that whenever they feel like it.

  7. They will float to the top as usual, by shagging their sheep.
  8. Looks so bad it's worse. It feels very soap opera, certainly a lot more polished than E3 but not at the level of other games that have done animation better. BW better get their animation team on shape, the Iron Bull had such a poor rig that his fingers kept bending out of shape on multiple animations. Anyways, I will give those 10 hours a try and then decide if I want to buy or not. I also wonder if you can name your character Richard, I always thought that Richard Ryder was a very unfortunate name.
  9. Why couldn't had Harrison Ford died in 2016 and not make this movie?
  10. Actually she might be some kind of mutant that has a gene that makes it resistant to the freezing temperatures. I mean, she is not in heavy clothes and playing piano without gloves. You should obviously have an offspring with her for the future of mankind.
  11. Agreed, I will say that it shows confidence in their product (at least the first 10 hours). It is a good thing that game companies have gained some self awareness and are realizing that people won't buy buggy games on release.
  12. Yeah, considering how that might just give rise to another god of Chaos I'm just going to classify that post as heresy. Expect a friendly visit from your local inquisition.
  13. My ****ery sense is telling me that they are ****ing with us and it will be something completely unrelated to both POE or Fallout.
  14. This just ****ing cements Jackson as my favorite president ever. Makes me wish I was American.
  15. This might be a point of debate between the younger generation and the older one. Once you have a 9 to 5, a family and all the other obligations, your time becomes very valuable. Rather than play a 60 hour game that's been padded with grinding and meaningless collectibles, I would much rather have a shorter game that really delivers. Since it is very likely that I won't finish the former but will definitively enjoy the latter. I'm not debating... questioning anyone's preference. Just saying there are more shorter games than longer games nowadays. When/if I have all that, maybe I'll also stick with the crappy telltale interactive storytellers while hoping quality rpg developers to make shorter games but that day has not come yet(<in Balgruuf's voice). I would hope for some examples because every game I play feels pretty long, also there you have to take into account how people play their games. I'm a completionist so it takes a long time for me to finish games.
  16. What you're saying here is that you prefer a good game before a bad game. Game length is irrelevant in this argument. Instead, try this: which would you prefer? A 60 hour game that really delivers or a 10 hour game that really delivers? The thing is that longer games are harder to fill up because you have to spread them over such a long time. There will inevitably be points where the game feels dull, the trick is to keep those moments short or to keep you engaged by having you work towards a greater goal. For example, I love the Witcher 3 but the combat is dull and I quit at least 3 times before I finished it. Which I only did because of some mods that made it more engaging. It is not a bad game but the core gameplay is dull and repetitive, plus my fave build has been nerfed into oblivion(alchemy master race).

  18. 30 hours is fine but sometimes I'm left wanting an expansion.
  19. Those glorious moments when you realize that an 8chan prank has gone national. You guys do know that the whole Russian sex tape thing is fake, right?
  20. One of my favorite things about this forum.
