He is one of my absoulte favorite composers (for movies).. I hope he plays a big role in the ME3 soundtrack. Hans Zimmer didn't perform to my expectations on Crysis 2 (but I hold the developers responsible) and Harry Gregson Williams did the Metal Gears series so he's aces in my book (not to mention the OST for Spy Game) So i'm 1 out of 2 for my favorite composers working on games, time to see if Clint adds to that number.

I guess that TIM as the bad guy is a plausible answer to having Cerberus as a bad guy on ME3. It just really makes Shep look stupid for having spent all ME2 hauling ass for them. Also I get this nagging feeling that this a cheap plot device, but then again this ME and BW. I shouldn't hope for much.

Well if it had more seasons it would have gone through the usual, everyone hooks up with everyone, someone dies/transforms into a demon from another dimension, then they get back together; despite all the grudges, for the sake of something greater than themselves and just when they are about to fight it they cancel the series without a conclusion.It's the Whedon cycle.

Apparently there is. If you turn over the base, you see a bunch of Cerberus ships show up at it. No debris, no IFF, ummm... I had always assumed that after the suicide mission IDI was able to replicate the IFF for Cerberus. Of course, that raises a whole slew of issues by itself - namely, if it's possible to replicate the IFF what sense does it make to immediately hook it up to your ship and rush through alone? Cerberus has resources - send through a probe and see what's there, perhaps, or send a ****ing fleet. Perhaps I could buy that course of action if there were some legitimately believable time constraint which forced immediate action, but there really isn't, especially given how apparently weak the Collectors appear to be (as I've gone over in all my previous posts). Or..the Cerberus ships showed up because panning away shots showing the might of the empire reinforce the badassness of whoever rules them. This just seems like an aesthetic choice and not a conceptual one. Although this issue with the IFF does raise the question to why they sent just one ship, so I will say that BW dropped the ball on that ending.

You don't need any of the upgrades to beat the Collector cruiser, and none of the upgrades are "super-secret" other than the weapon upgrade, which even then only elevates your frigate to cruiser-class firepower. The Collector cruiser clearly lacks the strength to pose any threat to actual alliance space, which has been my point all along. If Vietnam and Napoleon (it was actually the British) had something to teach was the importance of mobility, "an army walks on its stomach" if you will.On a frontal assault the Collectors would be crushed but their strength lies in the Omega 4 relay, they can attack anywhere with little fear of repercussion since (before the events of ME2) no ship can survive the journey. Actually, scratch that an armada will probably crash with all the ship debris. So unless there is a way to handle that, they are still untouchable post ME2

Funny how DRMs can become an argument for piracy, If you buy a product you should be able to enjoy it without any extra hassle and with full support from the companies. On this day and age pirates seem more involved with the quality and schedule of their releases, while game companies continue to shoot themselves on the foot. No surprise that most people have gone into consoles.

Ah yes. That was kinda weird. Was it ever explained why Shep and his henchmen took off with a Shuttle while the Nromandy was then ravaged by the Protheans? It felt totally cheap. I expected better from a developer who prides itself having a "professional" writer-army working on their games. Maybe they were on a mission and could not be bothered by all the screaming on their comms to come back to the ship. I'm still shaky as to why the Collectors didn't just take the Normandy. You get the crew and leave Shep stranded in the middle of nowhere, man those Collectors are very dumb masterminds.

Saw "One Day" a tale about the lives of two peoples that develops on just one day year by year, by year 5 you realize that's it's a 2 hour story about the stupidity of two friends who should just hook up already. Very unsatisfying climax, but the getting there it's decent. Also, I'm noticing a pattern in Anne Hathaway movies, seems like she is getting typecasted for the same comedic tragic characters.

I turned white and my spine shivered at the thought of that Randy Macho Dragon being romanceable. I think we best leave BW out of this, they haven't been pulling good romances lately. Besides, picture a character with the depth of Obsidian being romanced BW style. It just sounds awful.

I would actually love collaboration with Bethesda doing Level Design and Obsidian handling the story and characters. Best of both world.
